< Psalms 63 >
1 God, you are the God whom I [worship]. I greatly desire to be with you like [SIL] a person in a dry hot desert greatly desires [some cool water].
Judah praezaek ah oh naah, David ih Saam laa. Aw Sithaw, nang loe ka Sithaw ah na oh; nang to kang pakrong han; tui om ai praezaek ah, ka pakhra mah nang hae tui ah anghaeh moe, ka taksa mah nang to poek.
2 So, I want to see you in your temple; I want to see that you are great and glorious.
Na thacakhaih hoi na lensawkhaih to hnuk hanah, hmuenciim ah nang kang pakrong moe, kang hnuk boeh.
3 Your constantly loving [me] is (worth more/more precious) than [my] life, so I [MTY] will [always] praise you.
Nang tahmenhaih loe hinghaih pongah hoih kue baktih toengah, pahni hoiah nang kang pakoeh han.
4 I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.
Ka hing thung tahamhoihaih kang paek han, na hmin hoiah ban ka payangh han.
5 [Knowing you satisfies me more than] [IDM, MET] my eating a very big feast, [so] I will praise you while I sing [MTY] joyful songs.
Tangkhring hoi kathawk moi baktiah, ka hinghaih mah zok amhah tih, ka pahni mah anghoehaih laa to sah ueloe, ka pakha mah nang to pakoeh tih.
6 While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,
Ka iihkhun hoi nang to kang panoek poe moe, aqum puek nang to kang poek han.
7 because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you [as a little bird is protected] under [its mother’s] wings [MET].
Nang loe kai bomkung ah na oh pongah, na pakhraeh tahlip ah kang hoe han.
8 I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.
Ka hinghaih loe nang khaeah ni amha, na bantang ban hoiah nang patawnh.
9 But those who are trying to kill me will [die and] descend into the place of the dead;
Ka pakhra paro han pakrong kaminawk loe, longkhaw thungah caeh o tih.
10 they will be killed in battles [MTY] and their [corpses] will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.
Nihcae loe sumsen hoi amtimh o ueloe, tasuinawk ih rawkcak ah angcoeng o tih.
11 But I, the king [of Israel], will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.
Toe siangpahrang loe Sithaw ah anghoe tih; anih hoi lokkamhaih sah kaminawk loe lensawk o tih; toe amsawnlok thui kaminawk ih pakha loe tamuep pae khoep tih.
