< Psalms 62 >

1 God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
Kathutkung: Devit, La kahrawikung Jeduthun koe sak e la Atangcalah ka hringnae ni Cathut teh duem a ring. Kai rungngangnae teh ama koehoi doeh a tho.
2 Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
Ama dueng doeh ka lungsong hoi ka rungngangnae lah kaawm. Ama teh rapan lah ao, ka kâhuen mahoeh.
3 When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
Bangkongmaw tami buet touh heh na uk han. ka rawm e rapan hoi kâhuen e tapang patetlah nâtotouh maw na raphoe awh han.
4 My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
Arasangnae koehoi pabo hanelah a kâpan awh. Laithoe deinae koe a lunghawi awh teh. A pahni hoi yawhawi a poe awh ei teh, a lungthung hoi thoe a bo awh.
5 God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
Ka hringnae, Cathut dueng maha duem ring lawih. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka ngaihawinae teh a ma koehoi doeh a tho.
6 Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
Ama dueng doeh ka lungsong hoi rungngangnae lah ao. Ka kâhuen mahoeh.
7 God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
Ka rungngangnae hoi bawilennae teh, Cathut dawk ao. Ka thaonae lungsong hoi ka kânguenae teh ka Cathut dawk ao.
8 [You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
Tamimaya, ama teh a yungyoe kâuep awh haw. A hmalah na lungthin rabawk awh haw. Cathut teh maimouh kânguenae doeh.
9 People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
Kangduenae hmuen kârahnoumnaw ahrawnghrang lah ao awh teh, kangduenae hmuen ka rasangnaw teh, laithoe doeh. Yawcu hoi khing pawiteh, hotnaw teh ahrawnghrang hlak a pâhaw awh.
10 Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
Rektapnae hah kâuep awh hanh. Thama lahoi lawp e dawk kâuep awh hanh. Hno tawnta e dawk na lungpen awh hanh.
11 I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
Cathut ni vai touh a dei toe. Apâhni bout ka thai e lawk teh, bahu teh Cathut dawk ao.
12 and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
Oe BAWIPA, nang teh pahrennae hoi na kawi. Nang ni tamipueng amamae tawksak e patetlah ouk na poe.
