Psalms 21
1 Yahweh, ([I], your king am glad/the king is glad) because you have caused me/him to be strong. (I rejoice/he rejoices) greatly because you have rescued me/him [from my/his enemies].
Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Salimo la Davide. Inu Yehova, mfumu ikusangalala mu mphamvu yanu, chimwemwe chake nʼchachikuludi pa kupambana kumene mumapereka!
2 You have given me/him the things that I/he [SYN] desired and you have not refused to do what I requested you to do.
Inu mwayipatsa zokhumba za mtima wake ndipo simunayimane zopempha za pa milomo yake. (Sela)
3 In answer to my/his prayer, you enabled me/him to succeed and prosper. You placed a gold crown on my/his head.
Inu munayilandira ndi madalitso ochuluka ndipo munayiveka chipewa chaufumu chagolide weniweni pa mutu wake.
4 I/He asked you to enable me/him to live [for a long time], and that is what you gave me/him, a very long [HYP] life.
Iye anakupemphani moyo, ndipo munamupatsa masiku ochuluka kwamuyaya.
5 (I am/He is) greatly honored because you have helped me/him to defeat my/his enemies; you have made me/him famous.
Kudzera mʼzigonjetso zimene munapereka, ulemerero wake ndi waukulu; Inu mwapereka pa iyo ulemerero ndi ufumu.
6 You will bless me/him forever, and you have caused me/him to be joyful in your presence.
Zoonadi Inu mwayipatsa madalitso amuyaya, Inu mwayipatsa chisangalalo ndi chimwemwe chimene chili pamaso panu.
7 Yahweh, you are God Almighty, and (I trust/the king trusts) in you. Because you faithfully love me/him, disastrous things will never happen to me/him.
Pakuti mfumu imadalira Yehova; kudzera mʼchikondi chake chosatha cha Wammwambamwamba, iyo sidzagwedezeka.
8 You will enable me/him to capture [MTY] all my/his enemies and all those who hate me/him.
Dzanja lanu lidzayimitsa adani anu onse; dzanja lanu lamanja lidzagwira adani anu.
9 When you appear, you will throw them into a fiery furnace. Because you are angry [with them], you will get rid of them; the fire will burn them up.
Pa nthawi ya kuonekera kwanu mudzawasandutsa ngʼanjo yamoto yotentha. Mu ukali wake Yehova adzawameza, ndipo moto wake udzawatha.
10 You will remove their children from this earth; their descendants will all disappear.
Inu mudzawononga ana awo pa dziko lapansi, zidzukulu zawo pakati pa anthu.
11 They planned to harm you, but what they plan will never succeed.
Ngakhale iwo akukonzereni chiwembu mwa kuchenjera kwawo sadzapambana;
12 You will cause them to run away [IDM] by shooting arrows at them.
pakuti mudzawapirikitsa ndipo adzaonetsa misana yawo pamene mudzawaloza ndi mivi yanu.
13 Yahweh, show us that you are very strong! When you do that, while we sing we will praise you because you are very powerful.
Mukwezeke Inu Yehova mʼmphamvu yanu, ife tidzayimba nyimbo ndi kutamanda mphamvu yanu.
