< Psalms 125 >
1 Those/We who trust in Yahweh are [as secure/steadfast] [SIM] as Zion Hill, which cannot be shaken and can never be moved.
Mɔzɔha. Ame siwo ɖoa dzi ɖe Yehowa ŋu la le abe Zion to si meʋãna o, eye wònɔa anyi ɖikaa la ene.
2 Like the hills that surround Jerusalem [protect the city], Yahweh protects [us], his people, and he will protect us forever.
Abe ale si towo ƒo xlã Yerusalem ene la, nenema Yehowa ƒo xlã eƒe dukɔ lae, tso fifia yi ɖe mavɔ me.
3 Wicked people [MTY] should not [be allowed to] rule over the land where righteous [people] live. If they did that, those righteous [people] might [(be encouraged to imitate them and]) do things that are wrong.
Ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe fiatikplɔ manɔ anyigba si woka na ame dzɔdzɔewo la dzi o, ne menye nenema o la, ame dzɔdzɔewo ava tsɔ woƒe asi awɔ nu vɔ̃ɖii.
4 Yahweh, do good things to those who do good things to others and to those who sincerely obey your commands [IDM].
O! Yehowa, wɔ nyui na nu nyui wɔlawo, ame siwo ƒe dzi to mɔ ɖeka.
5 But when you punish the wicked people [who are not Israelis], also punish those [Israelis] who turn away from walking on the good roads [MET] that you have shown them! I wish that things will go well for [people in] Israel!
Ke ame siwo trɔ ɖe mɔ gɔglɔ̃ dzi la, Yehowa atsɔ wo aƒu gbe, kpe ɖe nu vɔ̃ɖi wɔlawo ŋu. Ŋutifafa nenɔ Israel dzi.
