Ezekiel 25
1 [Some time later, ] Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
Yehova anandiyankhula kuti:
2 “You human, turn toward where the Ammon people- [lives], and prophesy [what will happen to] them.
“Iwe mwana wa munthu, tembenukira anthu a ku Amoni ndipo unenere mowadzudzula.
3 Say about them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: “You shouted joyfully when my [in Jerusalem] was destroyed, and when the country/land of Israel was ruined, and when the people of Judah were (exiled/forced to go) [to Babylonia].
Awawuze kuti, ‘Inu anthu a ku Amoni, imvani zimene Ambuye Yehova akunena. Iye akuti: Inu munanena mawu onyoza pamene Nyumba yanga yopatulika inkayipitsidwa. Munanyozanso dziko la Israeli pamene linaguga ndiponso anthu a ku Yuda pamene anatengedwa ukapolo.
4 Therefore, I am going to allow you to be conquered by people [who will come] from the east. They will set up their tents in your country and live there. And they will eat the fruit from [fruit trees] and drink the [from your cattle].
Nʼchifukwa chake Ine ndidzakuperekani mʼmanja mwa anthu akummawa ngati cholowa chawo. Iwo adzamanga misasa yawo ndi kukhoma matenti awo pakati panu. Adzadya zipatso zanu ndi kumwa mkaka wanu.
5 I will [your capital city] Rabbah to become a pasture for camels, and the rest of Ammon to [only] a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Ndidzasandutsa Raba kuti akhale busa la ngamira ndi mizinda ya Aamoni kuti ikhale makola a nkhosa. Pamenepo inu mudzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.
6 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: “You clapped your [joyfully] and stomped your feet, and laughed because you despised [the people in] the land of Israel.
Zimene ndikunena Ine Ambuye Yehova ndi izi: Inu munawomba mʼmanja ndi kumalumphalumpha. Munkakondwa mu mtima mwanu pamene munkanyoza dziko la Israeli.
7 Therefore, I will use my power [MTY] against you, and I will enable [other] nations [conquer you and] take away your valuable possessions. I will destroy you completely [DOU], with the result that you no longer will be a nation. When that happens, people will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”
Nʼchifukwa chake ndidzatambasula dzanja langa kuti ndikulangeni, ndipo ndidzakuperekani kuti mukhale chofunkha cha anthu a mitundu ina. Ndidzakuchotsani pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina ndi kukufafanizani mʼmayiko onse. Ndidzakuwonongani, ndipo inu mudzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova!’”
8 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[The people of] [south of Ammon] and [the people of] [south of Moab despised Israel and] said, ‘The people [MTY] of Israel have [as unimportant] as all the other nations!’
“Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Anthu a ku Mowabu ndi a ku Seiri ananena kuti anthu a ku Yuda ali ngati mayiko ena onse.’
9 Therefore, I will destroy the cities that protect the borders of Moab, starting at Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon, and Kiriathaim, the finest cities in Moab.
Nʼchifukwa chake ndidzagumula mbali ina ya Mowabu, kuyambira ku mizinda yake ya kumalire; mizinda yokongola ya Beti-Yesimoti, Baala-Meoni ndi Kiriataimu.
10 I will enable people from the east to conquer Moab and also to conquer Ammon. As a result, [I will cause that] Ammon will no longer be remembered by other nations.
Ndidzapereka Amowabu pamodzi ndi Aamoni mʼmanja mwa anthu akummawa kotero kuti Aamoni adzayiwalikiratu pakati pa anthu a mitundu ina.
11 I will also punish [the people of] Moab. When that happens, they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Ndidzawalangadi Amowabuwo. Pamenepo iwo adzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.”
12 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[You people of] Edom are guilty of getting revenge on the people [MTY] of Judah.
“Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Pakuti Edomu analipsira Ayuda, ndiye kuti analakwa kwambiri pochita zimenezi.
13 Therefore this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: 'I will use my power against [the people of] Edom and will get rid of their men and their animals. I will ruin the land from Teman [region in central Edom] to Dedan [region in the south of Edom], and many of their men will be killed [their enemies] swords.'
Nʼchifukwa chake Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ndidzatambasula dzanja langa kulanga Edomu ndi kupha anthu ake ndiponso nyama zawo. Ndidzawonongeratu Edomu ndipo adzaphedwa ndi lupanga kuchokera ku Temani mpaka ku Dedani.
14 The Israeli people will use their power [MTY] to get revenge on [the people of] Edom. They will show [the people of] Edom that I have been angry with them, and I will punish [MTY] them. The people of Edom will experience my getting revenge on them. Then they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Ndidzalanga Edomu ndi dzanja la anthu anga Aisraeli. Adzalanga anthu a ku Edomu molingana ndi mkwiyo ndi ukali wanga. Choncho adzaona kulipsira kwanga akutero Ambuye Yehova.’”
15 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “The Philistia people-group wanted very much to get revenge [on the people of Judah]. They very maliciously wanted to destroy [Judah].
“Ambuye Yehova akuti, ‘Afilisti analanga anthu anga mwankhanza ndi kuwalipsira.
16 Therefore this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: I am about to use my power [MTY] against the Philistia people. I will get rid of the Kereth people-group and all [those who live along] the coast of the [Mediterranean] Sea.
Nʼchifukwa chake Ine Ambuye Yehova ndikuti: Ndidzatambasula dzanja langa kukantha Afilistiwo. Ndidzafafaniza Akereti ndi kuwononga iwo amene amakhala mʼmbali mwa nyanja.
17 By the way I punish them, I will get great revenge on them and show that I am angry with them. And when I get revenge on them, they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].'”
Ndidzawabwezera chilango choopsa ndipo ndidzawalanga mu mkwiyo wanga. Ndikadzawalipsira ndipo adzadziwa kuti Ine ndine Yehova.’”
