Exodus 35
1 Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
Och Mose församlade Israels barns hela menighet och sade till dem: »Detta är vad HERREN har bjudit eder att göra:
2 [Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
Sex dagar skall arbete göras, men på sjunde dagen skolen I hava helgdag, en HERRENS vilosabbat. Var och en som på den dagen gör något arbete skall dödas.
3 Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
I skolen icke tända upp eld på: sabbatsdagen, var I än ären bosatta.
4 Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
Och Mose sade till Israels barns hela menighet: »Detta är vad HERREN har bjudit och sagt:
5 Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
Låten bland eder upptaga en gärd åt HERREN, så att var och en som har ett därtill villigt hjärta bär fram denna gård åt HERREN: guld, silver och koppar,
6 fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
mörkblått, purpurrött, rosenrött och vitt garn och gethår,
7 rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
rödfärgade vädurskinn, tahasskinn, akacieträ,
8 oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
olja till ljusstaken, kryddor till smörjelseoljan och till den välluktande rökelsen,
9 [valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
äntligen onyxstenar och infattningsstenar, till att användas för efoden och för bröstskölden.
10 “All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
Och alla konstförfarna män bland eder må komma och förfärdiga allt vad HERREN har bjudit:
11 The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
tabernaklet, dess täckelse och överdraget till detta, dess häktor, bräder, tvärstänger, stolpar och fotstycken,
12 the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
arken med dess stänger, nådastolen och den förlåt som skall hänga framför den,
13 the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
bordet med dess stänger och alla dess tillbehör och skådebröden,
14 the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
ljusstaken med dess tillbehör och dess lampor, oljan till ljusstaken,
15 the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
rökelsealtaret med dess stänger, smörjelseoljan och den välluktande rökelsen, förhänget för ingången till tabernaklet,
16 the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
brännoffersaltaret med tillhörande koppargaller, dess stänger och alla dess tillbehör, bäckenet med dess fotställning,
17 the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
omhängena till förgården, dess stolpar och fotstycken, förhänget för porten till förgården,
18 the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
tabernaklets pluggar och förgårdens pluggar med deras streck,
19 and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
äntligen de stickade kläderna till tjänsten i helgedomen och prästen Arons andra heliga kläder, så ock hans söners prästkläder.»
20 Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
Och Israels barns hela menighet gick sin väg bort ifrån Mose.
21 Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
Sedan kommo de tillbaka, var och en som av sitt hjärta manades därtill; och var och en som hade en därtill villig ande bar fram en gärd åt HERREN till förfärdigande av uppenbarelsetältet och till allt arbete därvid och till de heliga kläderna.
22 All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
De kommo, både män och kvinnor, och framburo, var och en efter sitt hjärtas villighet, spännen, örringar, fingerringar och halssmycken, alla slags klenoder av guld, var och en som kunde offra åt HERREN någon gåva av guld.
23 And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
Och var och en som hade i sin ägo mörkblått, purpurrött, rosenrött eller vitt garn eller gethår eller rödfärgade vädurskinn eller tahasskinn bar fram det.
24 All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
Och var och en som kunde giva såsom gärd något av silver eller koppar bar fram sin gärd åt HERREN. Och var och en som hade i sin ägo akacieträ till förfärdigande av något slags arbete bar fram det.
25 All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.
Och alla konstförfarna kvinnor spunno med sina händer mörkblått, purpurrött, rosenrött och vitt garn och buro fram sin spånad;
26 And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
och alla kvinnor som av sitt hjärta manades därtill och hade lärt konsten spunno gethår.
27 All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
Och hövdingarna buro fram onyxstenar och infattningsstenar, till att användas för efoden och för bröstskölden,
28 They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
vidare kryddor och olja, till att användas för ljusstaken och smörjelseoljan och den välluktande rökelsen.
29 All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
Var och en av Israels barn, man eller kvinna, vilkens hjärta var villigt att bära fram något till förfärdigande av allt det som HERREN genom Mose hade bjudit att man skulle göra, bar fram sin frivilliga gåva åt HERREN.
30 Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
och Mose sade till Israels barn: »Sen, HERREN har kallat och nämnt Besalel, son till Uri, son till Hur, av Juda stam;
31 Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
och han har uppfyllt honom med Guds Ande, med vishet, med förstånd och kunskap och med allt slags slöjdskicklighet,
32 He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
både till att tänka ut konstarbeten och till att arbeta i guld, silver och koppar,
33 He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
till att smida stenar för infattning: och till att snida i trä, korteligen, till att utföra alla slags konstarbeten.
34 Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
Åt honom och åt Oholiab, Ahisamaks son, av Dans stam, har han ock givit förmåga att undervisa andra.
35 He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
Han har uppfyllt deras hjärtan med vishet till att utföra alla slags snideriarbeten och konstvävnader och brokiga vävnader av mörkblått, purpurrött, rosenrött och vitt garn, så ock andra vävnader, korteligen, alla slags arbeten och särskilt konstvävnadsarbeten.
