1 Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
Museen waldaa Israaʼel guutuu walitti qabee akkana jedheen; “Wanni Waaqayyo akka isin hojjettan isin ajaje kana:
2 [Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
Guyyaa jaʼa hojiin haa hojjetamu; guyyaan torbaffaan garuu isiniif guyyaa qulqulluu dha; Waaqayyoof immoo sanbata boqonnaa taʼa. Namni guyyaa kana hojii hojjetu kam iyyuu haa ajjeefamu.
3 Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
Guyyaa Sanbataatiin lafa jiraattan kamitti iyyuu ibidda hin qabsiisinaa.”
4 Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
Museenis waldaa Israaʼel guutuudhaan akkana jedhe; “Wanni Waaqayyo ajaje kana:
5 Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
Waan qabdan irraa Waaqayyoof kennaa dhiʼeessaa. Namni fedhii qabu hundinuu: “kennaa warqee, meetii fi naasii Waaqayyoof haa fidu.
6 fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
Kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee, bildiimaa fi quncee talbaa gaarii, rifeensa reʼee,
7 rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
gogaa korbeessa hoolaa kan halluu diimaa cuuphamee fi gogaa duugame, muka laaftoo,
8 oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
ibsaadhaaf zayitii ejersaa, zayitii ittiin dibanii fi ixaana urgaaʼuuf immoo urgooftuuwwan,
9 [valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
dhagaawwan sardooniksii, dooqa gati jabeessa, dirataa fi qomee irratti kaaʼatamu kan biraa haa fidu.
10 “All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
“Isin keessaa namoonni ogeeyyiin hundi dhufanii waan Waaqayyo ajaje hunda haa hojjetan:
11 The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
“Kunis dunkaana qulqulluu dunkaana isaatii fi irra buusaa isaa wajjin, hokkoowwan isaa, tuggee isaa, dagalee isaa, utubaa isaa, miilla isaa,
12 the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
taabota danqaraa isaa wajjin, teessoo araaraatii fi golgaa isa dhoksus,
13 the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
minjaala danqaraa isaatii fi miʼa isaa hunda wajjin, buddeena ilaalchaa;
14 the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
baattuu ibsaa kan ifaaf taʼu miʼa isaa wajjin, ifa sanaafis ibsaa fi zayitii,
15 the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
iddoo aarsaa ixaanaa danqaraa isaa wajjin, zayitii ittiin dibanii fi ixaana urgaaʼu, karra ittiin dunkaana qulqulluu seenaniifis golgaa balbalaa,
16 the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
iddoo aarsaa kan qalma gubamuu gingilchaa isaa kan naasii irraa hojjetame wajjin, danqaraawwan isaatii fi miʼa isaa hunda, caabii naasii miilla isaa wajjin,
17 the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
golgaawwan oobdii utubaawwanii fi miillawwan isaanii wajjin, golgaa karra oobdii sanaa,
18 the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
dunkaana qulqulluu fi qofoowwan oobdii dunkaana qulqulluutii fi funyoowwan isaanii,
19 and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
wayyaawwan foʼamanii dhaʼaman kanneen isaan yeroo iddoo qulqulluu keessa tajaajilan uffataman jechuunis wayyaawwan Aroon lubichaaf qulqulleeffamanii fi wayyaawwan ilmaan isaa yeroo lubummaadhaan tajaajilanitti uffatan haa hojjetan.”
20 Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
Ergasiis hawaasni Israaʼel guutuun Musee biraa baʼanii deeman;
21 Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
namni fedhii qabuu fi namni yaadni isaa isa kakaase hundi dhufee hojii dunkaana wal gaʼii sanaatiif, tajaajila isaa hundaa fi hojii wayyaawwan qulqulluu sanaatiif kennaa Waaqayyoof fide.
22 All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
Dhiirrii fi dubartiin fedhii qaban hundi miʼa warqee irraa hojjetame kanneen gosa gosaa fidan; bitawoo, lootii, qubeelaa fi faaya fidan. Hundi isaanii iyyuu warqee isaanii aarsaa sochoofamu godhanii Waaqayyoof dhiʼeessan.
23 And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
Namni kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee yookaan bildiimaa yookaan quncee talbaa baʼeessa yookaan rifeensa reʼee, kaldhee korbeessa hoolaa kan halluu diimaa cuuphamee fi gogaa duugame qabu hundi ni fide.
24 All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
Warri kennaa meetii yookaan naasii dhiʼeessan kennaa Waaqayyoof dhiʼeeffamu godhanii fidan. Namni muka laaftoo kan qooda hojii sanaa kamiif iyyuu taʼu qabu hundas ni fide.
25 All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.
Dubartoonni ogeeyyiin hundis harkaan foʼanii kirrii bifa cuquliisaa, dhiilgee, bildiimaa fi quncee talbaa baʼeessa foʼan sana fidan.
26 And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
Dubartoonni fedhii fi ogummaa qaban hundinuus rifeensa reʼee foʼan.
27 All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
Bulchitoonni dhagaawwan sardooniksii fi dhagaawwan gati jabeeyyii biraa dirataa fi kiisii qomaatti akka kaaʼatamuuf fidan.
28 They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
Akkasumas urgooftuu fi zayitii ibsaadhaaf, zayitii ittiin dibanii fi ixaana urgaaʼus fidan.
29 All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
Dhiironnii fi dubartoonni Israaʼel warri fedhii qaban hundi hojii akka isaan hojjetaniif Waaqayyo karaa Museetiin isaan ajaje sana hundaaf fedhii isaaniitiin Waaqayyoof kennaa fidan.
30 Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
Yommus Museen saba Israaʼeliin akkana jedhe; “Ilaa Waaqayyo gosa Yihuudaa keessaa Bezaliʼeel ilma Uuri ilma Huuri filateera;
31 Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
Hafuura Waaqaatiin, ogummaadhaan, dandeettii fi beekumsa hojii harkaa gosa hundumaan isa guuteera.
32 He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
Kunis akka inni warqeedhaan, meetii fi naasiidhaan hojii ogummaa hojjetuuf,
33 He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
akka dhagaawwan muree qopheessuuf, akka muka soofuu fi akka hojii ogummaa harkaa kan gosa hundaa keessatti hirmaatuuf.
34 Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
Waaqnis Bezaliʼeelii fi Oholiiyaab ilma Ahiisaamaak kan gosa Daan sanaaf dandeettii isaan ittiin warra kaan barsiisan kenne.
35 He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
Akka isaan ogeeyyii hojii harkaa, bifa baastotaa fi warra kirrii bifa cuquliisaatiin, dhiilgeen, bildiimaa fi quncee talbaa baʼeessaan miidhagsanii fi wayyaa dhooftota hundi isaanii ogeeyyii hojii harkaatii fi bifa baastota taʼaniif ogummaa hojii gosa hundaa hojjechuutiin isaan guute.
