1 Chronicles 28
1 David summoned all the leaders of Israel to come to Jerusalem. He summoned the leaders of the tribes, the leaders/commanders of the groups that worked for the king, the commanders of 100 soldiers, the commanders of 1,000 soldiers, those who were in charge of the property and livestock that belonged to the king and his sons, all the palace officials, and his mighty soldiers and bravest warriors.
தாவீது இஸ்ரயேலின் அதிகாரிகள் எல்லோரையும் எருசலேமில் கூடிவரச் செய்தான். கோத்திரங்களின்மேல் அதிகாரிகளாய் இருந்தவர்களையும், அரச இராணுவப் பிரிவுகளின் தளபதிகளையும், ஆயிரம்பேருக்குத் தளபதிகளையும் கூடிவரச் செய்தான். அத்துடன் நூறுபேருக்குத் தளபதிகளையும், அரசனுக்கும் அவனுடைய மகன்களுக்கும் உண்டான உடைமைகளுக்கும், வளர்ப்பு மிருகங்களுக்கும் பொறுப்பதிகாரிகளையும், அரண்மனைக்குப் பொறுப்பதிகாரிகளையும் வலிமைமிக்க மனிதர்களையும், தைரியமான வீரர்களையும் கூடிவரச் செய்தான்.
2 David stood up and said, “My fellow Israelis, listen to me. I wanted [IDM] to build a temple to be a place where we would put the Sacred Chest of Yahweh, where it would stay permanently. And I made plans to build it.
அப்பொழுது அரசன் தாவீது எழுந்து நின்று, “எனது சகோதரரே, எனது மக்களே, எனக்கு செவிகொடுங்கள். நான் ஒரு வீட்டைக் கட்டி அதை யெகோவாவின் உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்கான தங்குமிடமாகவும், இறைவனின் பாதபடியாகவும் செய்ய என் மனதில் நினைத்திருந்தேன். அதைக் கட்டவேண்டும் என திட்டமிட்டிருந்தேன்.
3 But God said to me, ‘You are not the one who will [arrange to] build a temple for me [MTY], because you are a warrior and you have killed many people [MTY] [in battles].’
ஆனால் இறைவன் என்னிடம், ‘என்னுடைய பெயருக்கான ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவது நீயல்ல; ஏனெனில் நீ இரத்தம் சிந்திய இராணுவவீரனாயிருக்கிறாய்’ என்றார்.
4 “But Yahweh, the God to whom we Israelis belong, had chosen me and my descendants to be the kings of Israel forever. [First] he chose the tribe of Judah, and from the people [MTY] of Judah he chose my family, and from my father’s sons he chose me to be the king over all of Israel.
“ஆயினும் இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா என்றென்றைக்கும் இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசனாயிருக்கும்படி, எனது முழுக் குடும்பத்திலிருந்தும் என்னையே தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார். அவர் யூதாவைத் தலைமையாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். யூதா கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து எனது குடும்பத்தை தெரிந்தெடுத்தார். அதோடு எனது தகப்பனின் மகன்களுக்குள் என்னையே இஸ்ரயேல் முழுவதற்கும் அரசனாக்க பிரியங்கொண்டார்.
5 Yahweh has given me many sons, but from them he chose my son Solomon to be the next king to rule [MTY] the kingdom of Israel.
யெகோவா எனக்கு அநேக மகன்களைத் தந்தார். ஆனாலும் அவர்களெல்லோரிலும் எனது மகன் சாலொமோனையே இஸ்ரயேலின்மேல் யெகோவாவினுடைய அரசாட்சியின் அரியணையில் அமரும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
6 He said to me, ‘Solomon your son is the one who will [arrange to] build my temple and the courtyards around it, because I have chosen him to be [like] my son and I will be [like] [MET] his father.
அவர் என்னிடம், ‘உனது மகன் சாலொமோனே எனக்கு ஆலயத்தையும், ஆலயமுற்றங்களையும் கட்டப்போகிறவன். ஏனெனில், அவனை நான் எனது மகனாக தெரிந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறேன். நான் அவனுக்குத் தகப்பனாயிருப்பேன்.
7 I will enable his kingdom to endure forever if he continues to obey my laws and commands, like you are doing now.’
அவன் எனது கட்டளைகளையும், சட்டங்களையும் இந்நாட்களில் நடப்பதைப்போல் நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவதில் உறுதியாய் இருந்தால், நான் அவனுடைய ஆட்சியை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி செய்வேன்’ என்றார்.
8 “So now, while all [you people of] Israel, all of you who belong to Yahweh, are watching, and while God is listening, I command you [leaders] to carefully obey all the commands of Yahweh our God, in order that you may continue to possess this good land and enable your descendants to inherit it forever.
“எனவே இப்பொழுது எல்லா இஸ்ரயேலருடைய பார்வையிலும், இறைவனின் சபையின் பார்வையிலும், இறைவனின் செவிகேட்கவும் நான் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டுச் சொல்கிறதாவது: இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளையும் பின்பற்றக் கவனமாய் இருங்கள். அப்பொழுது இந்த நல்ல நாட்டை நீங்கள் உரிமையாக்கி, உங்களுக்குப்பின் உங்கள் வழித்தோன்றலுக்கும் என்றென்றுமான உரிமைச்சொத்தாக விட்டுச்செல்வீர்கள்.
9 “And you, my son Solomon, must know God like I know him, and you must serve him faithfully and because you want to. You must do that because he knows what everyone is thinking and he understands the reasons that people do what they do. If you seek [to know] him, he will heed your prayers. But if you abandon/reject him, he will abandon/reject you forever.
“என் மகனாகிய சாலொமோனே, நீ உன் தகப்பனின் இறைவனை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, முழு இருதய அர்ப்பணிப்புடனும் முழு மனதுடனும் அவருக்குப் பணிசெய். ஏனெனில், யெகோவா எல்லா இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்கிறவரும், சிந்தனைகளுக்குப் பின்னுள்ள நோக்கங்களை விளங்கிக்கொள்கிறவருமாய் இருக்கிறார். நீ அவரைத் தேடினால் அவர் உனக்குக் காணப்படுவார். நீ அவரைக் கைவிட்டுவிட்டால், அவரும் உன்னை என்றென்றைக்கும் தள்ளிவிடுவார்.
10 Yahweh has chosen you to [arrange to] build a temple for him. So think about [what I have said], and be strong and do what [he is wanting you to do].”
இப்பொழுதும் யோசித்துப்பார். யெகோவா தமது பரிசுத்த இடமான ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவதற்கு உன்னையே தெரிந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறார். மனவுறுதியோடு வேலையைச் செய்” என்றான்.
11 Then David gave to his son Solomon [the scroll on which were written] the plans for the main rooms of the temple, its porch, its storerooms, all the other upper and lower rooms, and the Very Holy Place where God would forgive the sins that people had committed.
பின்பு தாவீது தன் மகன் சாலொமோனிடம், ஆலயத்தின் முன்மண்டபம், அதற்கான கட்டடங்கள், களஞ்சியங்கள், மேல்பகுதிகள், உள்ளறைகள், பாவநிவிர்த்திக்கான இடம் ஆகியவற்றின் வரைபடங்களைக் கொடுத்தான்.
12 David wrote for him the plans that God’s Spirit had put into his mind for building the courtyards and all the rooms that surrounded the temple, including the room where the money and other valuable things that were dedicated to God would be kept.
அத்துடன் யெகோவாவின் ஆலய முற்றங்கள், சூழ உள்ள எல்லா அறைகள், இறைவனின் ஆலயத்தின் அர்ப்பணிப்பு காணிக்கைகளை வைக்கும் திரவியக் களஞ்சியம் போன்றவற்றைக் குறித்து, இறைவனின் ஆவியானவர் தன் மனதில் வெளிப்படுத்திய எல்லா திட்டங்களையும் கொடுத்தான்.
13 He gave Solomon instructions for the groups of priests and other descendants of Levi, about all the work that they must do to serve in Yahweh’s temple, and about taking care of all the things that would be used in the work at the temple.
அவன் ஆசாரியர்கள், லேவியர்கள் ஆகியோரின் பிரிவுகளைப்பற்றியும், யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்தின் பணியின் எல்லா வேலைகளைப்பற்றியும், வழிபாட்டிற்குப் பயன்படுத்தும் எல்லாப் பொருட்களைப்பற்றியும் எல்லா அறிவுறுத்தல்களையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்.
14 He wrote down how much gold and how much silver should be used to make all the items in the temple:
பலவிதமான வழிபாடுகளில் பயன்படுத்த தங்கப் பாத்திரங்களுக்குத் தேவையான தங்கத்தின் அளவையும், வெள்ளிப் பாத்திரத்திற்குத் தேவையான வெள்ளியின் நிறையையும் குறிப்பிட்டான்:
15 how much gold for making the gold lampstands and the lamps, how much silver to make the silver lamps and lampstands,
ஒவ்வொரு விளக்கிற்கும் அதன் தாங்கிக்கும் தேவையான தங்கத்தையும் குறிப்பிட்டான். அத்துடன் வெள்ளி விளக்குகளுக்கும் அதன் தாங்கிகளுக்கும் தேவையான வெள்ளியையும் குறிப்பிட்டு ஒவ்வொரு விளக்கின் பாவனைக்கேற்ப கொடுத்தான்.
16 how much gold for making the table on which [the priests would put] the sacred bread, how much silver to use to make the other tables,
இறைவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கும் அப்பங்களை வைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மேஜைகளுக்கும் தேவையான தங்கத்தையும் குறிப்பிட்டான். அத்துடன் மேஜைகளுக்குத் தேவையான வெள்ளியையும் குறிப்பிட்டான்.
17 how much pure gold for the meat forks and the bowls and the cups, how much gold for each gold dish, how much silver for each silver dish,
இன்னும் முள்ளுக் கரண்டிகள், தெளிப்புக் கிண்ணங்கள், பெரிய ஜாடிகள் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு வேண்டிய சுத்தத் தங்கத்தையும், ஒவ்வொரு தங்கப் பாத்திரத்திற்கும் தேவையான தங்கத்தையும் வெள்ளிப் பாத்திரத்திற்குத் தேவையான வெள்ளியையும் குறிப்பிட்டான்.
18 and how much pure gold to make the altar for [burning] incense. He also gave to Solomon his plans for making the golden statues of winged creatures that would be above the Sacred Chest of Yahweh, [like] a chariot for him.
தூபபீடத்திற்குத் தேவையான சுத்தமான தங்கத்தையும் குறிப்பிட்டான். அத்துடன் யெகோவாவினுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைத் தங்கள் செட்டைகளை விரித்துப் பாதுகாக்கும் தங்க கேருபீன்களின் தேருக்கான வரைபடத்தையும் கொடுத்தான்.
19 Then David said, “I have written [all these plans] while Yahweh was directing [MTY] me. He has enabled me to understand all the details of his plan [for the temple that is to be built].”
“இவையெல்லாவற்றையும் யெகோவா தமது கரத்தின் எழுத்தாக எனக்குத் தந்திருக்கிறார். அவர் இந்த வரைபடத்தின் எல்லா விவரங்களையும் எனக்கு விளக்கியிருக்கிறார்” என்று தாவீது சொன்னான்.
20 David also said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do this work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, because Yahweh our God will be with/helping you. He will not fail [to help] you or abandon you until you finish all the work of making his temple.
தாவீது தன் மகன் சாலொமோனிடம், “நீ திடன்கொண்டு தைரியத்துடன் இந்த வேலையைச் செய். பயப்படாதே, மனந்தளராதே; என் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா உன்னோடிருக்கிறார். யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்தில் வேலைகளெல்லாம் முடியும்வரை அவர் உன்னைக் கைவிடமாட்டார்; நீ அசைக்கப்படவுமாட்டாய்.
21 The groups of priests and [other] descendants of Levi are ready to begin their work at the temple, and every man who has a special skill will help you in all the work. And my officials and the other people will obey you, whatever you command them to do.”
இறைவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் எல்லா வேலைகளுக்கும் ஆசாரியர்கள் மற்றும் லேவியர்களின் பிரிவுகள் ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கின்றன. எல்லாத் தொழிலிலும் திறமையாயிருக்கிற ஆர்வம் உடையவர்கள் எல்லோரும் உனக்கு வேலைகளில் உதவி செய்வார்கள். எல்லா அதிகாரிகளும், எல்லா மக்களும் உனது ஒவ்வொரு கட்டளைக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்பார்கள்” என்றும் சொன்னான்.
