1 Chronicles 27
1 This is a list of the Israeli men who served the king in the army. Some were leaders of families, some were commanders of 100 men, some were commanders of 1,000 men, and some were their officers. There were 24,000 men [DOU] in each group. Each group served one month of each year.
Estes são os filhos de Israel segundo o seu número, os chefes dos pais, e os capitães dos milhares e das centenas, com os seus oficiais, que serviam ao rei em todos os negócios das turmas entrando e saindo de mês em mes, em todos os meses do ano: cada turma de vinte e quatro mil.
2 Jashobeam, the son of Zabdiel, was in charge of the group that served during the first month [of each year].
Sobre a primeira turma do mês primeiro estava Jasobeam, filho de Zabdiel: e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
3 He was a descendant of Perez, and he was the commander of all the army officers during the first month of each year.
Era este dos filhos de Phares, chefe de todos os capitães dos exércitos, para o primeiro mês.
4 Dodai, from the clan of Ahohi, was the commander of the group that served during the following/second month of each year. Mikloth was his (assistant/chief officer).
E sobre a turma do segundo mês era Dodai, o ahohita, com a sua turma, cujo chefe era Mikloth: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
5 Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the Supreme Priest, was the commander of the group that served during the following/third month.
O terceiro capitão do exército do terceiro mês era Benaias, filho de Joiada, oficial maior e chefe: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
6 He was the one who was a mighty warrior among David’s thirty greatest soldiers, and he was their leader. His son Ammizabad was his assistant.
Era este Benaias um varão entre os trinta, e sobre os trinta: e sobre a sua turma estava Ammizabad, seu filho.
7 Asahel, Joab’s [younger] brother, was [the commander of the group that served] during the following/fourth month. Asahel’s son Zebadiah became the commander after Asahel [was killed].
O quarto do quarto mês Asael, irmão de Joab, e depois dele Zebadias, seu filho: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
8 The commander for the following/fifth month was Shamhuth, a descendant of Izrah.
O quinto do quinto mês o maioral Samhuth, o israhita: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
9 The commander for the following/sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh from Tekoa [town].
O sexto do sexto mês Ira, filho de Ikkes, o tekoita: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
10 The commander for the following/seventh month was Helez, a member of the Pelon [clan] from the tribe of Ephraim.
O sétimo do sétimo mês Heles, o pelonita, dos filhos de Ephraim: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
11 The commander for the following/eighth month was Sibbecai, a descendant of Zerah from Hushah [town].
O oitavo do oitavo mês Sibbechai, o husathita, dos zarithas: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
12 The commander for the following/ninth month was Abiezer from Anathoth [city] in the tribe of Benjamin.
O nono do nono mês Abiezer, o anathotita, dos benjaminitas: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
13 The commander for the following/tenth month was Maharai, a descendant of Zerah from Netophath [town].
O décimo do décimo mês Maharai, o netophatita, dos zarithas: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
14 The commander for the following/eleventh month was Benaiah from Pirathon [town] in the tribe of Ephraim.
O undécimo do undécimo mês Benaia, o pirathonita, dos filhos de Ephraim: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
15 The commander for the last month [of each year] was Heldai, a descendant of Othniel from Netophath [town].
O duodécimo do duodécimo mês Heldia, o nethophatita, de Othniel: também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
16 This is a list of the administrators of the [twelve] tribes [DOU] of Israel: Eliezer, the son of Zicri, was the administrator of the tribe of Reuben. Shephatiah, the son of Maacah, was the administrator of the tribe of Simeon.
Porém sobre as tribos de Israel eram estes: sobre os rubenitas era chefe Eliezer, filho de Zichri; sobre os simeonitas Sephatias, filho de Maaca;
17 Hashabiah, the son of Kemuel, was the administrator of the tribe of Levi. Zadok was the administrator of the tribe of Aaron.
Sobre os levitas Hasabias, filho de Kemuel; sobre os aaronitas Zadok;
18 Elihu, David’s [older] brother, was the administrator of the tribe of Judah. Omri, the son of Michael, was the administrator of the tribe of Issachar.
Sobre Judá, Elihu, dos irmãos de David; sobre Issacar, Omri, filho de Michael;
19 Ishmaiah, the son of Obadiah, was the administrator of the tribe of Zebulun. Jerimoth, the son of Azriel, was the administrator of the tribe of Naphtali.
Sobre Zebulon, Irmaias, filho de Obadias; sobre Naphtali, Jerimoth, filho de Azriel;
20 Hoshea, the son of Azaziah, was the administrator of the tribe of Ephraim. Joel, the son of Pedaiah, was the administrator of the tribe of the [western] half of the tribe of Manasseh.

21 Iddo, the son of Zechariah, was the administrator of the [eastern] half of the tribe of Manasseh, in [the] Gilead [region]. Jaasiel, the son of Abner, was the administrator of the tribe of Benjamin.
Sobre a outra meia tribo de Manasseh em Gilead, Iddo, filho de Zacarias; sobre Benjamin, Jaasiel, filho de Abner;
22 Azarel, the son of Jeroham, was the administrator of the tribe of Dan. Those were the leaders over the tribes of Israel.
Sobre Dan, Azarel, filho de Jeroham: estes eram os capitães das tribos de Israel.
23 [When] David [told Joab to count the men of Israel, he] did not [tell him to] count the men who were less then 20 years old, because Yahweh had promised [many years previously] that there would be as many [people] in Israel as there are stars in the sky.
Não tomou porém David o número dos de vinte anos e daí para baixo, porquanto o Senhor tinha dito que havia de multiplicar a Israel como as estrelas do céu.
24 Joab [and his helpers] started to count the men of Israel, but they did not finish counting them [because Joab knew that Yahweh was angry about their being counted]. Yahweh punished [MTY] the people of Israel because of this counting, and as a result the total number of Israeli men [able to serve in the army] was not written on the scroll about King David’s [rule].
Joab, filho de Zeruia, tinha começado a numera-los, porém não acabou; porquanto viera por isso grande ira sobre Israel: pelo que o número se não pôs na conta das crônicas do rei David.
25 Azmaveth, the son of Adiel, was in charge of the king’s storehouses. Jonathan, the son of Uzziah, was is charge of the storehouses in various towns and villages in Israel, and also in charge of the watchtowers.
E sobre os tesouros do rei estava Azmaveth, filho de Adiel; e sobre os tesouros da terra, das cidades, e das aldeias, e das torres, Jonathan, filho de Uzias.
26 Ezri the son of Kelub was in charge of the workers who farmed the land [that belonged to the king].
E sobre os que faziam a obra do campo, na lavoura da terra, Ezri, filho de Chelub.
27 Shimei from Ramath [town] was in charge of the king’s vineyards. Zabdi from Shepham [town] was in charge of storing the wine from the [grapes produced in] vineyards.
E sobre as vinhas Simei, o ramathita: porém sobre o que das vides entrava nos tesouros do vinho Zabdi, o siphmita.
28 Baal-Hanan from Geder [city] was in charge of storing the olive oil.
E sobre os olivais e figueiras bravas que havia nas campinas, Baal Hanan, o gederita: porém Joás sobre os tesouros do azeite.
29 Shitrai from the Sharon Plain was in charge of the herds of cattle that (grazed/ate grass) there. Shaphat the son of Adlai was in charge of the cattle in the valleys.
E sobre os gados que pasciam em Saron, Sitrai, o saronita: porém sobre os gados dos vales, Saphat, filho de Adlai.
30 Obil, a descendant of Ishmael, was in charge of the camels. Jehdeiah from Meronoth [town] was in charge of the donkeys.
E sobre os camelos, Obil, o ishmaelita: e sobre as jumentas, Jehdias, o meronothita.
31 Jaziz, a descendant of Hagar, was in charge of the [king’s] flocks of sheep. All of those officials were in charge of the things that belonged to King David.
E sobre o gado miúdo, Jaziz, o hagarita: todos estes eram maiorais da fazenda que tinha o rei David.
32 David’s uncle Jonathan was a wise counselor for him. Jehiel, the son of Hacmoni, taught the king’s sons.
E Jonathan, tio de David, era do conselho, homem entendido, e também escriba: e Jehiel, filho de Hacmoni, estava com os filhos do rei.
33 Ahithophel was the king’s official counselor.
E Achitophel era do conselho do rei: e Husai, o archita, amigo do rei.
34 Hushai from the Ark people-group was the king’s special friend. Benaiah’s son Jehoiada became the king’s advisor after Ahithophel died, and later Abiathar became his advisor. Joab was the chief commander of the army.
E depois de Achitophel, Joiada, filho de Benaias, e Abiathar; porém Joab era chefe do exército do rei.
