Exodus 40

1 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say

וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר׃

2 in/on/with day [the] month [the] first in/on/with one to/for month to arise: raise [obj] tabernacle tent meeting

ביום החדש הראשון באחד לחדש תקים את משכן אהל מועד׃

3 and to set: put there [obj] ark [the] testimony and to cover upon [the] ark [obj] [the] curtain

ושמת שם את ארון העדות וסכת על הארן את הפרכת׃

4 and to come (in): bring [obj] [the] table and to arrange [obj] valuation his and to come (in): bring [obj] [the] lampstand and to ascend: establish [obj] lamp her

והבאת את השלחן וערכת את ערכו והבאת את המנרה והעלית את נרתיה׃

5 and to give: put [obj] altar [the] gold to/for incense to/for face: before ark [the] testimony and to set: make [obj] covering [the] entrance to/for tabernacle

ונתתה את מזבח הזהב לקטרת לפני ארון העדת ושמת את מסך הפתח למשכן׃

6 and to give: put [obj] altar [the] burnt offering to/for face: before entrance tabernacle tent meeting

ונתתה את מזבח העלה לפני פתח משכן אהל מועד׃

7 and to give: put [obj] [the] basin between tent meeting and between [the] altar and to give: put there water

ונתת את הכיר בין אהל מועד ובין המזבח ונתת שם מים׃

8 and to set: make [obj] [the] court around and to give: put [obj] covering gate [the] court

ושמת את החצר סביב ונתת את מסך שער החצר׃

9 and to take: take [obj] oil [the] anointing and to anoint [obj] [the] tabernacle and [obj] all which in/on/with him and to consecrate: consecate [obj] him and [obj] all article/utensil his and to be holiness

ולקחת את שמן המשחה ומשחת את המשכן ואת כל אשר בו וקדשת אתו ואת כל כליו והיה קדש׃

10 and to anoint [obj] altar [the] burnt offering and [obj] all article/utensil his and to consecrate: consecate [obj] [the] altar and to be [the] altar holiness holiness

ומשחת את מזבח העלה ואת כל כליו וקדשת את המזבח והיה המזבח קדש קדשים׃

11 and to anoint [obj] [the] basin and [obj] stand his and to consecrate: consecate [obj] him

ומשחת את הכיר ואת כנו וקדשת אתו׃

12 and to present: bring [obj] Aaron and [obj] son: child his to(wards) entrance tent meeting and to wash: wash [obj] them in/on/with water

והקרבת את אהרן ואת בניו אל פתח אהל מועד ורחצת אתם במים׃

13 and to clothe [obj] Aaron [obj] garment [the] holiness and to anoint [obj] him and to consecrate: consecate [obj] him and to minister to/for me

והלבשת את אהרן את בגדי הקדש ומשחת אתו וקדשת אתו וכהן לי׃

14 and [obj] son: child his to present: bring and to clothe [obj] them tunic

ואת בניו תקריב והלבשת אתם כתנת׃

15 and to anoint [obj] them like/as as which to anoint [obj] father their and to minister to/for me and to be to/for to be to/for them anointing their to/for priesthood forever: enduring to/for generation their

ומשחת אתם כאשר משחת את אביהם וכהנו לי והיתה להית להם משחתם לכהנת עולם לדרתם׃

16 and to make: do Moses like/as all which to command LORD [obj] him so to make: do

ויעש משה ככל אשר צוה יהוה אתו כן עשה׃

17 and to be in/on/with month [the] first in/on/with year [the] second in/on/with one to/for month to arise: raise [the] tabernacle

ויהי בחדש הראשון בשנה השנית באחד לחדש הוקם המשכן׃

18 and to arise: raise Moses [obj] [the] tabernacle and to give: put [obj] socket his and to set: make [obj] board his and to give: put [obj] bar his and to arise: raise [obj] pillar his

ויקם משה את המשכן ויתן את אדניו וישם את קרשיו ויתן את בריחיו ויקם את עמודיו׃

19 and to spread [obj] [the] tent upon [the] tabernacle and to set: put [obj] covering [the] tent upon him from to/for above [to] like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

ויפרש את האהל על המשכן וישם את מכסה האהל עליו מלמעלה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

20 and to take: take and to give: put [obj] [the] testimony to(wards) [the] ark and to set: make [obj] [the] alone: pole upon [the] ark and to give: put [obj] [the] mercy seat upon [the] ark from to/for above [to]

ויקח ויתן את העדת אל הארן וישם את הבדים על הארן ויתן את הכפרת על הארן מלמעלה׃

21 and to come (in): bring [obj] [the] ark to(wards) [the] tabernacle and to set: make [obj] curtain [the] covering and to cover upon ark [the] testimony like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

ויבא את הארן אל המשכן וישם את פרכת המסך ויסך על ארון העדות כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

22 and to give: put [obj] [the] table in/on/with tent meeting upon thigh [the] tabernacle north [to] from outside to/for curtain

ויתן את השלחן באהל מועד על ירך המשכן צפנה מחוץ לפרכת׃

23 and to arrange upon him valuation food: bread to/for face: before LORD like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

ויערך עליו ערך לחם לפני יהוה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

24 and to set: put [obj] [the] lampstand in/on/with tent meeting before [the] table upon thigh [the] tabernacle south [to]

וישם את המנרה באהל מועד נכח השלחן על ירך המשכן נגבה׃

25 and to ascend: establish [the] lamp to/for face: before LORD like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

ויעל הנרת לפני יהוה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

26 and to set: put [obj] altar [the] gold in/on/with tent meeting to/for face: before [the] curtain

וישם את מזבח הזהב באהל מועד לפני הפרכת׃

27 and to offer: burn upon him incense spice like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

ויקטר עליו קטרת סמים כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

28 and to set: put [obj] covering [the] entrance to/for tabernacle

וישם את מסך הפתח למשכן׃

29 and [obj] altar [the] burnt offering to set: make entrance tabernacle tent meeting and to ascend: offer up upon him [obj] [the] burnt offering and [obj] [the] offering like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

ואת מזבח העלה שם פתח משכן אהל מועד ויעל עליו את העלה ואת המנחה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

30 and to set: make [obj] [the] basin between tent meeting and between [the] altar and to give: put there [to] water to/for to wash: wash

וישם את הכיר בין אהל מועד ובין המזבח ויתן שמה מים לרחצה׃

31 and to wash: wash from him Moses and Aaron and son: child his [obj] hand their and [obj] foot their

ורחצו ממנו משה ואהרן ובניו את ידיהם ואת רגליהם׃

32 in/on/with to come (in): come they to(wards) tent meeting and in/on/with to present: come they to(wards) [the] altar to wash: wash like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses

בבאם אל אהל מועד ובקרבתם אל המזבח ירחצו כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

33 and to arise: raise [obj] [the] court around to/for tabernacle and to/for altar and to give: put [obj] covering gate [the] court and to end: finish Moses [obj] [the] work

ויקם את החצר סביב למשכן ולמזבח ויתן את מסך שער החצר ויכל משה את המלאכה׃

34 and to cover [the] cloud [obj] tent meeting and glory LORD to fill [obj] [the] tabernacle

ויכס הענן את אהל מועד וכבוד יהוה מלא את המשכן׃

35 and not be able Moses to/for to come (in): come to(wards) tent meeting for to dwell upon him [the] cloud and glory LORD to fill [obj] [the] tabernacle

ולא יכל משה לבוא אל אהל מועד כי שכן עליו הענן וכבוד יהוה מלא את המשכן׃

36 and in/on/with to ascend: establish [the] cloud from upon [the] tabernacle to set out son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with all journey their

ובהעלות הענן מעל המשכן יסעו בני ישראל בכל מסעיהם׃

37 and if not to ascend: establish [the] cloud and not to set out till day to ascend: establish he

ואם לא יעלה הענן ולא יסעו עד יום העלתו׃

38 for cloud LORD upon [the] tabernacle by day and fire to be night in/on/with him to/for eye: seeing all house: household Israel in/on/with all journey their

כי ענן יהוה על המשכן יומם ואש תהיה לילה בו לעיני כל בית ישראל בכל מסעיהם׃
