2 Chronicles 34
1 son: aged eight year Josiah in/on/with to reign he and thirty and one year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem
Im Alter von acht Jahren wurde Josia König, und einunddreißig Jahre regierte er in Jerusalem.
2 and to make: do [the] upright in/on/with eye: appearance LORD and to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct David father his and not to turn aside: turn aside right and left
Er tat, was dem HERRN wohlgefiel: er wandelte auf den Wegen seines Ahnherrn David, ohne nach rechts oder nach links davon abzuweichen.
3 and in/on/with eight year to/for to reign him and he/she/it still he youth to profane/begin: begin to/for to seek to/for God David father his and in/on/with two ten year to profane/begin: begin to/for be pure [obj] Judah and Jerusalem from [the] high place and [the] Asherah and [the] idol and [the] liquid
Im achten Jahre seiner Regierung, als er noch ein Jüngling war, fing er an, den Gott seines Ahnherrn David zu suchen, und im zwölften Jahr begann er, Juda und Jerusalem von dem Höhendienst und den Standbildern der Aschera und den geschnitzten und gegossenen Bildern zu reinigen.
4 and to tear to/for face his [obj] altar [the] Baal and [the] pillar which to/for above [to] from upon them to cut down/off and [the] Asherah and [the] idol and [the] liquid to break and to crush and to scatter upon face: surface [the] grave [the] to sacrifice to/for them
Vor seinen Augen riß man die Altäre der Baale nieder, und die Sonnensäulen, die oben auf ihnen standen, ließ er umhauen und die Standbilder der Aschera und die geschnitzten und gegossenen Bilder zertrümmern und zermalmen und den Staub von ihnen auf die Gräber derer streuen, die ihnen geopfert hatten;
5 and bone priest to burn upon (altar their *Q(K)*) and be pure [obj] Judah and [obj] Jerusalem
die Gebeine der Priester ließ er auf ihren Altären verbrennen und reinigte auf diese Weise Juda und Jerusalem.
6 and in/on/with city Manasseh and Ephraim and Simeon and till Naphtali (in/on/with mountain: mount in/on/with sword their *Q(K)*) around
Auch in den Städten von Manasse und Ephraim, von Simeon und bis nach Naphthali hin – in den dortigen Trümmerstätten ringsum –
7 and to tear [obj] [the] altar and [obj] [the] Asherah and [the] idol to crush to/for to crush and all [the] pillar to cut down/off in/on/with all land: country/planet Israel and to return: return to/for Jerusalem
riß er die Altäre nieder, zertrümmerte und zermalmte die Standbilder der Aschera und die geschnitzten Bilder und ließ alle Sonnensäulen in allen Gegenden Israels umhauen; dann kehrte er nach Jerusalem zurück.
8 and in/on/with year eight ten to/for to reign him to/for be pure [the] land: country/planet and [the] house: home to send: depart [obj] Shaphan son: child Azaliah and [obj] Maaseiah ruler [the] city and [obj] Joah son: child Joahaz [the] to remember to/for to strengthen: strengthen [obj] house: temple LORD God his
Im achtzehnten Jahre seiner Regierung aber, als er das Land und den Tempel gereinigt hatte, sandte er Saphan, den Sohn Azaljas, und den Stadthauptmann Maaseja und den Kanzler Joah, den Sohn des Joahas, um den Tempel des HERRN, seines Gottes, wieder instandsetzen zu lassen.
9 and to come (in): come to(wards) Hilkiah [the] priest [the] great: large and to give: give [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to come (in): bring house: temple God which to gather [the] Levi to keep: guard [the] threshold from hand: to Manasseh and Ephraim and from all remnant Israel and from all Judah and Benjamin (and to return: return *Q(K)*) Jerusalem
Als diese nun zum Hohenpriester Hilkia kamen, übergaben sie das Geld, das im Hause Gottes eingegangen war und das die Leviten, die Schwellenhüter, von den Stämmen Manasse und Ephraim und von allen übrigen Israeliten sowie von ganz Juda und Benjamin und den Bewohnern Jerusalems eingesammelt hatten, –
10 and to give: give upon hand: to to make: [do] [the] work [the] to reckon: overseer in/on/with house: temple LORD and to give: give [obj] him to make: [do] [the] work which to make in/on/with house: temple LORD to/for to repair and to/for to strengthen: strengthen [the] house: home
und zwar händigten sie es den Werkführern ein, die für die Arbeit am Tempel des HERRN bestellt waren; diese übergaben es dann den Arbeitern, die am Tempel des HERRN tätig waren, um den Tempel herzustellen und auszubessern;
11 and to give: give to/for artificer and to/for to build to/for to buy stone hewing and tree: wood to/for clamp and to/for to lay beams [obj] [the] house: home which to ruin king Judah
und zwar übergaben sie es den Zimmerleuten und Bauleuten zum Ankauf von behauenen Steinen und von Hölzern für die Decken und um die Baulichkeiten, welche die Könige von Juda hatten in Verfall geraten lassen, mit neuem Gebälk zu versehen.
12 and [the] human to make: do in/on/with faithfulness in/on/with work and upon them to reckon: overseer Jahath and Obadiah [the] Levi from son: descendant/people Merari and Zechariah and Meshullam from son: descendant/people [the] Kohathite to/for to conduct and [the] Levi all to understand in/on/with article/utensil song
Diese Männer handelten bei ihrer Arbeit auf Treu und Glauben; und über sie waren gesetzt: die Leviten Jahath und Obadja aus den Nachkommen Meraris, und Sacharja und Mesullam aus den Nachkommen der Kahathiten, um die Aufsicht zu führen; und die Leviten, soweit sie sich auf Musikinstrumente verstanden,
13 and upon [the] burden and to conduct to/for all to make: do work to/for service: ministry and service: ministry and from [the] Levi secretary and official and gatekeeper
waren über die Lastträger gesetzt und führten auch die Aufsicht über alle Arbeiter bei ihren verschiedenen Dienstleistungen; und andere von den Leviten waren auch Schreiber, Amtleute und Torhüter.
14 and in/on/with to come out: send they [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to come (in): bring house: temple LORD to find Hilkiah [the] priest [obj] scroll: book instruction LORD in/on/with hand: by Moses
Als sie nun das Geld, das im Tempel des HERRN eingegangen war, herausnahmen, fand der Priester Hilkia das Buch mit dem von Mose herrührenden Gesetz des HERRN.
15 and to answer Hilkiah and to say to(wards) Shaphan [the] secretary scroll: book [the] instruction to find in/on/with house: temple LORD and to give: give Hilkiah [obj] [the] scroll: book to(wards) Shaphan
Da hob Hilkia an und sagte zum Staatsschreiber Saphan: »Ich habe das Gesetzbuch im Tempel des HERRN gefunden!« Damit übergab Hilkia das Buch dem Saphan.
16 and to come (in): bring Shaphan [obj] [the] scroll: book to(wards) [the] king and to return: reply still [obj] [the] king word to/for to say all which to give: give in/on/with hand: to servant/slave your they(masc.) to make: do
Dieser überbrachte dann das Buch dem König und erstattete außerdem dem Könige folgenden Bericht: »Alles, was deinen Knechten aufgetragen war, haben sie ausgerichtet:
17 and to pour [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to find in/on/with house: temple LORD and to give: give him upon hand [the] to reckon: overseer and upon hand: to to make: [do] [the] work
sie haben das Geld, das sich im Tempel des HERRN vorfand, ausgeschüttet und haben es den zur Aufsicht Bestellten und den Werkführern eingehändigt.«
18 and to tell Shaphan [the] secretary to/for king to/for to say scroll: book to give: give to/for me Hilkiah [the] priest and to call: read out in/on/with him Shaphan to/for face: before [the] king
Weiter machte der Staatsschreiber Saphan dem Könige noch die Mitteilung: »Der Priester Hilkia hat mir ein Buch gegeben«; und Saphan las dem Könige daraus vor.
19 and to be like/as to hear: hear [the] king [obj] word [the] instruction and to tear [obj] garment his
Als nun der König den Inhalt des Gesetzbuches vernahm, zerriß er seine Kleider
20 and to command [the] king [obj] Hilkiah and [obj] Ahikam son: child Shaphan and [obj] Abdon son: child Micah and [obj] Shaphan [the] secretary and [obj] Asaiah servant/slave [the] king to/for to say
und gab sodann dem Hilkia und Ahikam, dem Sohne Saphans, ferner Abdon, dem Sohne Michas, und dem Staatsschreiber Saphan und Asaja, dem Leibdiener des Königs, folgenden Befehl:
21 to go: went to seek [obj] LORD about/through/for me and about/through/for [the] to remain in/on/with Israel and in/on/with Judah upon word [the] scroll: book which to find for great: large rage LORD which to pour in/on/with us upon which not to keep: obey father our [obj] word LORD to/for to make: do like/as all [the] to write upon [the] scroll: book [the] this
»Geht hin und befragt den HERRN für mich und für die, welche in Israel und Juda noch übriggeblieben sind, in betreff des Wortlautes des Buches, das man aufgefunden hat; denn groß ist der Grimm des HERRN, der sich über uns ergossen hat, weil unsere Väter die Weisungen des HERRN nicht beachtet haben, um alles zu tun, was in diesem Buche geschrieben steht.«
22 and to go: went Hilkiah and which [the] king to(wards) Huldah [the] prophetess woman: wife Shallum son: child (Tikvah *Q(K)*) son: child Hasrah to keep: guard [the] garment and he/she/it to dwell in/on/with Jerusalem in/on/with Second [Quarter] and to speak: speak to(wards) her like/as this
Da begab sich Hilkia mit den Männern, die der König bezeichnet hatte, zu der Prophetin Hulda, der Frau des Kleiderhüters Sallum, des Sohnes Thokhaths, des Sohnes Hasras; die wohnte in Jerusalem im zweiten Bezirk. Als sie sich nun mit ihr gemäß dem ihnen erteilten Auftrage besprachen,
23 and to say to/for them thus to say LORD God Israel to say to/for man which to send: depart [obj] you to(wards) me
sagte sie zu ihnen: »So hat der HERR, der Gott Israels, gesprochen: Sagt dem Manne, der euch zu mir gesandt hat:
24 thus to say LORD look! I to come (in): bring distress: harm upon [the] place [the] this and upon to dwell his [obj] all [the] oath [the] to write upon [the] scroll: book which to call: read out to/for face: before king Judah
So hat der HERR gesprochen: ›Wisse wohl: ich will Unglück über diesen Ort und seine Bewohner kommen lassen, nämlich alle die Flüche, die in dem Buche geschrieben stehen, das man dem König von Juda vorgelesen hat.
25 underneath: because of which to leave: forsake me (and to offer: offer *Q(K)*) to/for God another because to provoke me in/on/with all deed: work hand their and to pour rage my in/on/with place [the] this and not to quench
Zur Strafe dafür, daß sie mich verlassen und anderen Göttern geopfert haben, um mich mit all den Machwerken ihrer Hände zum Zorn zu reizen, daher hat sich mein Grimm über diesen Ort ergossen und wird nicht wieder erlöschen!‹
26 and to(wards) king Judah [the] to send: depart [obj] you to/for to seek in/on/with LORD thus to say to(wards) him thus to say LORD God Israel [the] word which to hear: hear
Zum König von Juda aber, der euch gesandt hat, um den HERRN zu befragen, zu dem sollt ihr sagen: So hat der HERR, der Gott Israels, gesprochen: ›Was die Drohungen anbetrifft, die du vernommen hast:
27 because be tender heart your and be humble from to/for face: before God in/on/with to hear: hear you [obj] word his upon [the] place [the] this and upon to dwell his and be humble to/for face: before my and to tear [obj] garment your and to weep to/for face: before my and also I to hear: hear utterance LORD
weil dein Herz weich geworden ist und du dich vor Gott gedemütigt hast, als du seine Drohungen gegen diesen Ort und gegen seine Bewohner vernahmst, und du dich vor mir gedemütigt und deine Kleider zerrissen und vor mir geweint hast, so habe auch ich dir Gehör geschenkt‹ – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN.
28 look! I to gather you to(wards) father your and to gather to(wards) grave your in/on/with peace and not to see: see eye your in/on/with all [the] distress: harm which I to come (in): bring upon [the] place [the] this and upon to dwell his and to return: return [obj] [the] king word
›Darum wisse wohl: wenn ich dich zu deinen Vätern versammle, sollst du in Frieden in deine Grabstätte eingebracht werden, und deine Augen sollen all das Unglück, das ich über diesen Ort und seine Bewohner bringen werde, nicht zu sehen bekommen!‹« Als sie nun dem Könige Bericht erstattet hatten,
29 and to send: depart [the] king and to gather [obj] all old: elder Judah and Jerusalem
sandte der König Boten aus und ließ alle Ältesten von Juda und Jerusalem zusammenkommen.
30 and to ascend: rise [the] king house: temple LORD and all man Judah and to dwell Jerusalem and [the] priest and [the] Levi and all [the] people from great: large and till small and to call: read out in/on/with ear: hearing their [obj] all word scroll: book [the] covenant [the] to find house: temple LORD
Hierauf ging der König zum Tempel des HERRN hinauf und mit ihm alle Männer von Juda und die Bewohner Jerusalems, auch die Priester und die Leviten, kurz das ganze Volk, klein und groß; und er las ihnen den ganzen Inhalt des Bundesbuches vor, das im Tempel des HERRN gefunden worden war.
31 and to stand: stand [the] king upon post his and to cut: make(covenant) [obj] [the] covenant to/for face: before LORD to/for to go: walk after LORD and to/for to keep: obey [obj] commandment his and testimony his and statute: decree his in/on/with all heart his and in/on/with all soul his to/for to make: do [obj] word [the] covenant [the] to write upon [the] scroll: book [the] this
Hierauf trat der König an seinen Standort und schloß den Bund vor dem HERRN mit der Zusage ab, daß sie dem HERRN nachwandeln und seine Gebote, seine Verordnungen und seine Satzungen mit ganzem Herzen und mit ganzer Seele beobachten wollten, um so nach den Bestimmungen des Bundes zu handeln, die in diesem Buche geschrieben standen.
32 and to stand: stand [obj] all [the] to find in/on/with Jerusalem and Benjamin and to make: do to dwell Jerusalem like/as covenant God God father their
Er ließ dann alle, die sich in Jerusalem und Benjamin befanden, dem Bunde beitreten, und die Einwohner von Jerusalem handelten so, wie es dem Bunde mit Gott, dem Gott ihrer Väter, entsprach.
33 and to turn aside: remove Josiah [obj] all [the] abomination from all [the] land: country/planet which to/for son: descendant/people Israel and to serve: minister [obj] all [the] to find in/on/with Israel to/for to serve: minister [obj] LORD God their all day his not to turn aside: turn aside from after LORD God father their
So schaffte denn Josia alle Götzengreuel aus sämtlichen Landschaften der Israeliten weg und verpflichtete alle, die sich in Israel befanden, zur Verehrung des HERRN, ihres Gottes. Solange Josia lebte, wichen sie nicht von der Nachfolge des HERRN, des Gottes ihrer Väter, ab.
