Joshua 5
1 And it was when heard all [the] kings of the Amorite[s] who [were] on [the] other side of the Jordan west-ward and all [the] kings of the Canaanite[s] who [were] at the sea [they heard] this: he had dried up Yahweh [the] waters of the Jordan from before [the] people of Israel until (passing over they *Q(K)*) and it melted heart their and not it was in them still spirit because of [the] people of Israel.
| کاتێک هەموو پاشاکانی ئەمۆرییەکان ئەوانەی لەبەری ڕۆژئاوای ڕووباری ئوردون بوون و هەموو پاشاکانی کەنعانییەکان ئەوانەی لەسەر کەناری دەریا بوون بیستیان کە یەزدان ئاوی ڕووباری ئوردونی لەبەردەم نەوەی ئیسرائیل وشک کردووە هەتا دوای پەڕینەوەیان، ئیتر دڵیان تۆقی و ورەیان تێدا نەما بۆ ڕووبەڕووبوونەوەی نەوەی ئیسرائیل. |
2 At the time that he said Yahweh to Joshua make for yourself knives of flint and return circumcise [the] people of Israel a second [time].
| لەو کاتەدا یەزدان بە یەشوعی فەرموو: «چەند چەقۆیەک لە بەردەئەستێ بۆ خۆت دروستبکە و جارێکی دیکە نەوەی ئیسرائیل خەتەنە بکەرەوە.» |
3 And he made for himself Joshua knives of flint and he circumcised [the] people of Israel to [the] hill of foreskins.
| جا یەشوع چەند چەقۆیەکی لە بەردەئەستێ دروستکرد و نەوەی ئیسرائیلی لە گردی هاعەرالۆت خەتەنە کرد. |
4 And this [is] the reason why he circumcised Joshua all the people which had come out from Egypt the males all - [the] men of war they had died in the wilderness on the way when went out they from Egypt.
| ئەمەش هۆی خەتەنەکردنەکەیان بوو لەلایەن یەشوعەوە، هەموو ئەو گەلەی کە لە میسر هاتبوونە دەرەوە، ئەو نێرینانەی کە پیاوی جەنگ بوون، ماوەیەک لەدوای ڕۆیشتنیان لە میسر لە ڕێگا لە چۆڵەوانی مردن. |
5 For circumcised they had been all the people which came out and all the people born in the wilderness on the way when went out they from Egypt not people had circumcised.
| هەموو ئەو گەلەی کە لە میسرەوە کۆچیان کرد خەتەنە کرابوون، بەڵام هەموو ئەو گەلەی لە کاتی کۆچیان لە میسرەوە لە ڕێگا لە چۆڵەوانیدا لەدایک بوون خەتەنە نەکرابوون. |
6 For - forty year[s] they had walked [the] people of Israel in the wilderness until was finished all the nation [the] men of war who came out from Egypt who not they had listened to [the] voice of Yahweh whom he had sworn Yahweh to them to not to let to see them the land which he had sworn Yahweh to fathers their to give to us a land flowing of milk and honey.
| نەوەی ئیسرائیل چل ساڵ بە چۆڵەوانیدا ڕۆیشتن، هەتا هەموو ئەو گەلە، هەموو پیاوانی جەنگ، ئەوانەی لە میسر هاتبوونە دەرەوە کۆتاییان پێهات، چونکە گوێڕایەڵی یەزدان نەبوون. یەزدان سوێندی بۆ خواردن کە ئەو خاکەیان پیشان نەدات کە سوێندی بۆ باوباپیرانیان خوارد کە دەیداتە ئێمە، ئەو خاکەی شیر و هەنگوینی لێ دەڕژێت. |
7 And children their he raised up in place of them them he circumcised Joshua for uncircumcised they were for not people had circumcised them on the way.
| بۆیە کوڕەکانیانی لە جێی ئەوان پێگەیاند، هەروەها یەشوع ئەوانی خەتەنە کرد، چونکە خەتەنە نەکرابوون، لەبەر ئەوەی لە ڕێگادا خەتەنەیان نەکردبوون. |
8 And it was just when they had finished all the nation to be circumcised and they remained in place their in the camp until lived they.
| پاش ئەوەی هەموو گەل لە خەتەنەکردن بوونەوە، لە جێی خۆیان لە ئۆردوگاکە مانەوە هەتا برینەکەیان ساڕێژ بوو. |
9 And he said Yahweh to Joshua this day I have rolled away [the] reproach of Egypt from on you and he called [the] name of the place that Gilgal until the day this.
| ئینجا یەزدان بە یەشوعی فەرموو: «ئەمڕۆ ڕیسوایی میسرم لێتان گلۆرکردەوە.» بۆیە ئەو شوێنە هەتا ئەمڕۆش بە گلگال ناودەبردرێت. |
10 And they encamped [the] people of Israel at Gilgal and they observed the passover on [the] four-teen day of the month in the evening on [the] plains of Jericho.
| نەوەی ئیسرائیل لە گلگال چادریان هەڵدا و لە ئێوارەی ڕۆژی چواردەی مانگ لە دەشتی ئەریحا جەژنی پەسخەیان گێڕا. |
11 And they ate some of [the] produce of the land from [the] next day of the passover unleavened bread and roasted [grain] on [the] substance of the day this.
| بۆ ڕۆژی پاش جەژنی پەسخە، لە هەمان ڕۆژ، لە بەروبوومی خاک نانی فەتیرە و دانەوێڵەی برژاویان خوارد. |
12 And it ceased the manna from [the] next day when ate they some of [the] produce of the land and not it belonged again to [the] people of Israel manna and they ate some of [the] produce of [the] land of Canaan in the year that.
| هەروەها لەو ڕۆژەدا مەن بڕایەوە کاتێک لە بەری خاکەکەیان خوارد، ئیتر لەدوای ئەوە مەن بۆ نەوەی ئیسرائیل نەبوو، بەڵام ئەو ساڵە لە بەری زەوی کەنعانیان خوارد. |
13 And it was when was Joshua at Jericho and he lifted up eyes his and he saw and there! a man [was] standing to before him and sword his [was] drawn in hand his and he went Joshua to him and he said to him ¿ for us [are] you or? for foes our.
| ئەوە بوو کاتێک یەشوع لە نزیک ئەریحا بوو، سەری هەڵبڕی و بینی وا پیاوێک بەرامبەری ڕاوەستاوە و شمشێرەکەشی هەڵکێشاوە. یەشوعیش چووە لای و پێی گوت: «ئایا تۆ لەگەڵ ئێمە دایت یان لەگەڵ دوژمنەکانمان؟» |
14 And he said - In-deed I [am] [the] commander of [the] army of Yahweh now I have come and he fell Joshua to face his [the] ground towards and he bowed down and he said to him what? [is] lord my saying servant his.
| ئەویش گوتی: «هیچیان، چونکە ئێستا من وەک فەرماندەی گشتی سوپای یەزدان هاتووم.» جا یەشوع بە ڕوودا بەسەر زەوی کەوت و کڕنۆشی برد و گوتی: «پەیامی گەورەکەم چییە بۆ خزمەتکاری خۆی؟» |
15 And he said [the] commander of [the] army of Yahweh to Joshua take off sandal your from on foot your for the place which you [are] standing on it [is] a holy place it and he did Joshua thus.
| فەرماندەی گشتی سوپای یەزدانیش بە یەشوعی فەرموو: «پێڵاوەکانت لە پێت دابکەنە، چونکە ئەو شوێنەی تۆ لەسەری وەستاویت پیرۆزە.» یەشوعیش بەم جۆرەی کرد. |
