John 6
1 After these things went away Jesus over the Sea of Galilee — of Tiberias.
Därefter for Jesus över Galileiska sjön, "Tiberias' sjö".
2 (and *k*) Was following (now *no*) after Him a crowd great, because (they were experiencing *N(k)O*) (of him *k*) the signs which He was doing upon those being sick.
Och mycket folk följde efter honom, därför att de sågo de tecken som han gjorde med de sjuka.
3 Went up now on the mountain (*k*) Jesus and there He was sitting with the disciples of Him.
Men Jesus gick upp på berget och satte sig där med sina lärjungar.
4 Was now near the Passover the feast of the Jews.
Och påsken, judarnas högtid, var nära.
5 Having lifted up then the eyes Jesus and having seen that a great crowd is coming to Him He says to (*k*) Philip; From where (we may buy *N(k)O*) bread that may eat these?
Då nu Jesus lyfte upp sina ögon och såg att mycket folk kom till honom, sade han till Filippus: "Varifrån skola vi köpa bröd, så att dessa få äta?"
6 This now He was saying testing him; He himself for knew what He was about to do.
Men detta sade han för att sätta honom på prov, ty själv visste han vad han skulle göra.
7 Answered Him (*n*) Philip; Two hundred denarii worth of loaves not are sufficient for them that each (of them *k*) little [piece] one may receive.
Filippus svarade honom: "Bröd för två hundra silverpenningar vore icke nog för att var och en skulle få ett litet stycke."
8 Says to Him one of the disciples of Him, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter;
Då sade till honom en annan av hans lärjungar, Andreas, Simon Petrus' broder:
9 Is a little boy (one *k*) here (who *N(k)O*) has five loaves barley and two small fish; but these what are for so many?
"Här är en gosse som har fem kornbröd och två fiskar; men vad förslår det för så många?"
10 Said (now *k*) Jesus; do make the men to recline. There was now grass much in the place. Reclined therefore the men the number (about *N(k)O*) five thousand.
Jesus sade: "Låten folket lägga sig här." Och på det stället var mycket gräs. Då lägrade sig männen där, och deras antal var vid pass fem tusen.
11 Took (then *N(k)O*) the loaves Jesus and having given thanks He distributed (to the disciples now the disciples *K*) to those reclining, likewise also of the fish as much as they were wishing.
Därefter tog Jesus bröden och tackade Gud och delade ut åt dem som hade lagt sig ned där, likaledes ock av fiskarna, så mycket de ville hava.
12 When now they were filled He says to the disciples of Him; do gather together the having been over and above fragments so that nothing anything may be lost.
Och när de voro mätta, sade han till sina lärjungar: "Samlen tillhopa de överblivna styckena, så att intet förfares."
13 They gathered together therefore and filled twelve hand-baskets of fragments from the five loaves barley which (exceeded *N(k)O*) to those having eaten.
Då samlade de dem tillhopa och fyllde tolv korgar med stycken, som av de fem kornbröden hade blivit över efter dem som hade ätit.
14 The therefore people having seen (what *NK(o)*) He had done (sign *NK(O)*) (Jesus *k*) were saying that This is truly the prophet who is coming into the world.
Då nu människorna hade det tecken som han hade gjort, sade de: "Denne är förvisso Profeten som skulle komma i världen."
15 Jesus therefore having known that they are about to come and to seize Him that they may make (Him *k*) king withdrew again to the mountain Himself alone.
När då Jesus märkte att de tänkte komma och med våld föra honom med sig och göra honom till konung, drog han sig åter undan till berget, helt allena.
16 When now evening it became, went down the disciples of Him to the sea,
Men när det blev afton, gingo hans lärjungar ned till sjön
17 and having climbed into (*k*) a boat they were going over the sea to Capernaum. And dark already it had become, and (not yet *N(k)O*) had come to them Jesus,
och stego i en båt för att fara över sjön till Kapernaum. Det hade då redan blivit mörkt, och Jesus hade ännu icke kommit till dem;
18 And the sea by a wind strong blowing was agitated.
och sjön gick hög, ty det blåste hårt.
19 Having rowed therefore about stadia twenty five or thirty, they see Jesus walking on the sea and near the boat coming, and they were frightened.
När de så hade rott vid pass tjugufem eller trettio stadier, fingo de se Jesus komma gående på sjön och nalkas båten. Då blevo de förskräckta.
20 And He says to them; I myself am [He], not do fear.
Men han sade till dem: "Det är jag; varen icke förskräckta."
21 They were willing then to receive Him into the boat, and immediately was the boat at the land to which they were going.
De ville då taga honom upp i båten; och strax var båten framme vid landet dit de foro.
22 On the next day the crowd which already standing on the other side of the sea (having seen *N(k)O*) that boat other no was there only except one (that into which climbed the disciples of him *K*) and for not went with the disciples of Him Jesus into the (boat *N(k)O*) but alone the disciples of Him went away;
Dagen därefter hände sig detta. Folket som stod kvar på andra sidan sjön hade lagt märke till att där icke fanns mer än en enda båt, och att Jesus icke hade stigit i den båten med sina lärjungar, utan att lärjungarna hade farit bort allena.
23 (another *NK(O)*) (now *k*) came (boats *NK(o)*) from Tiberias near the place where they ate the bread when was giving thanks to the Lord.
Andra båtar hade likväl kommit från Tiberias och lagt till nära det ställe där folket bespisades efter det att Herren hade uttalat tacksägelsen.
24 When therefore saw the crowd that Jesus not is there nor [are] the disciples of Him, they climbed (also *k*) themselves into the (boats *N(k)O*) and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus,
När alltså folket nu såg att Jesus icke var där, ej heller hans lärjungar, stego de själva i båtarna och foro till Kapernaum för att söka efter Jesus.
25 And having found Him on the other side of the sea they said to Him; Rabbi, when here have You come?
Och då de funno honom där på andra sidan sjön, frågade de honom: "Rabbi, när kom du hit?"
26 Answered them Jesus and said; Amen Amen I say to you; you seek Me not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were satisfied.
Jesus svarade dem och sade: "Sannerligen, sannerligen säger jag eder: I söken mig icke därför att I haven sett tecken, utan därför att I fingen äta av bröden och bleven mätta.
27 do work not [for] the food that is perishing but [for] the food which is enduring unto life eternal which the Son of Man to you will give; Him for the Father has sealed God. (aiōnios g166)
Verken icke för att få den mat som förgås, utan för att få den mat som förbliver och har med sig evigt liv, den som Människosonen skall giva eder; ty honom har Fadern, Gud själv, låtit undfå sitt insegel." (aiōnios g166)
28 They said therefore to Him; What (shall we do *N(k)O*) that we may be doing the works of God?
Då sade de till honom: "Vad skola vi göra för att utföra Guds gärningar?"
29 Answered Jesus and said to them; This is the work of God that (you may believe *N(k)O*) in Him whom has sent He.
Jesus svarade och sade till dem: "Detta är Guds gärning, att I tron på den han har sänt."
30 They said therefore to Him; What then do You yourself [as a] sign that we may see and may believe You? What work do You perform?
De sade till honom: "Vad för tecken gör du då? Låt oss se något tecken, så att vi kunna tro dig. Vilken gärning utför du?
31 The fathers of us the manna ate in the wilderness even as it is written: Bread from heaven He gave them to eat.’
Våra fäder fingo äta manna i öknen, såsom det är skrivet: 'Han gav dem bröd från himmelen att äta.'"
32 Said therefore to them Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you; not Moses (has given *NK(o)*) you the bread from heaven, but the Father of Mine gives you the bread from heaven true.
Då svarade Jesus dem: "Sannerligen, sannerligen säger jag eder: Det är icke Moses som har givit eder brödet från himmelen, men det är min Fader som giver eder det rätta brödet från himmelen.
33 The for bread of God is the [One] coming down out of heaven and life giving to the world.
Ty Guds bröd är det bröd som kommer ned från himmelen och giver världen liv."
34 They said therefore to Him; Sir, always do give to us bread this.
Då sade de till honom: "Herre, giv oss alltid det brödet."
35 Said (now *K(O)*) to them Jesus; I myself am the bread of life; the [one] coming to Me myself certainly not may hunger, and the [one] believing in Me myself certainly not (will thirst *N(k)O*) at any time.
Jesus svarade: "Jag är livets bröd. Den som kommer till mig, han skall aldrig hungra, och den som tror på mig, han skall aldrig törsta.
36 But I said to you that also you have seen Me and yet not believe.
Men det är såsom jag har sagt eder: fastän I haven sett mig, tron I dock icke.
37 All that gives Me the Father to Me myself will come, and the [one] coming to Me myself certainly not shall I cast out,
Allt vad min Fader giver mig, det kommer till mig; och den som kommer till mig, honom skall jag sannerligen icke kasta ut.
38 For I have come down (from *N(k)O*) heaven not that I may do the will of Me but the will of the [One who] having sent Me.
Ty jag har kommit ned från himmelen, icke för att göra min vilja, utan för att göra dens vilja, som har sänt mig.
39 This now is the will of the [One who] having sent Me ([the] Father, *K*) that all that He has given Me none I may lose of it, but may raise up it in the last day.
Och detta är dens vilja, som har sänt mig, att jag icke skall låta någon enda gå förlorad av dem som han har givit mig, utan att jag skall låta dem uppstå på den yttersta dagen.
40 This (for *N(k)O*) is the will of the (Father *N(K)O*) (Mine, *N(k)O*) that everyone who is beholding the Son and believing in Him he may have life eternal, and will raise up him I myself (in *n*) the last day. (aiōnios g166)
Ja, detta är min Faders vilja, att var och en som ser Sonen och tror på honom, han skall hava evigt liv, och att jag skall låta honom uppstå på den yttersta dagen." (aiōnios g166)
41 Were grumbling therefore the Jews about Him because He said; I myself am the bread having come down from heaven;
Då knorrade judarna över honom, därför att han hade sagt: "Jag är det bröd som har kommit ned från himmelen."
42 And they were saying; (Surely *N(k)O*) this is Jesus the son of Joseph, of whom we ourselves know the father and the mother? How (then *N(K)O*) says He (this *k*) that From heaven I have come down?
Och de sade: "Är denne icke Jesus, Josefs son, vilkens fader och moder vi känna? Huru kan han då säga: 'Jag har kommit ned från himmelen'?"
43 Answered (therefore *K*) (*k*) Jesus and said to them; Not do grumble with one another.
Jesus svarade och sade till dem: "Knorren icke eder emellan.
44 No [one] is able to come to Me, only unless the Father the [one] having sent Me shall draw him, and I myself and I myself will raise up him in the last day.
Ingen kan komma till mig, om icke Fadern, som har sänt mig, drager honom; och jag skall låta honom uppstå på den yttersta dagen.
45 It is written in the prophets: And they will be all taught (*k*) of God.’ Everyone (therefore *K*) who (having heard *NK(o)*) from the Father and having learned he comes to Me myself;
Det är skrivet hos profeterna: 'De skola alla hava fått lärdom av Gud.' Var och en som har lyssnat till Fadern och lärt av honom, han kommer till mig.
46 Not for the Father has seen anyone only except the [One] being from God, He has seen the Father.
Icke som om någon skulle hava sett Fadern, utom den som är från Gud; han har sett Fadern.
47 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] believing (into me myself *KO*) has life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Sannerligen, sannerligen säger jag eder: Den som tror, han har evigt liv. (aiōnios g166)
48 I myself am the bread of life.
Jag är livets bröd.
49 The fathers of You ate in the wilderness the manna and died;
Edra fäder åto manna i öknen, och de dogo.
50 This is the bread from heaven coming down, that anyone of it may eat and not may die.
Men med det bröd som kommer ned från himmelen är det så, att om någon äter därav, så skall han icke dö.
51 I myself am the bread which is living from heaven having come down; if anyone shall have eaten of this bread, (he will live *N(k)O*) to the age. and the bread also that I myself will give the flesh of Me is (which I myself I will give *K*) for the of the world life. (aiōn g165)
Jag är det levande brödet som har kommit ned från himmelen. Om någon äter av det brödet, så skall han leva till evig tid. Och det bröd som jag skall giva är mitt kött; och jag giver det, för att världen skall leva." (aiōn g165)
52 Were arguing therefore with one another the Jews saying; How is able this [man] us to give the flesh of Him to eat?
Då tvistade judarna med varandra och sade: "Huru skulle denne kunna giva oss sitt kött att äta?"
53 Said therefore to them Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you; only unless you shall have eaten the flesh of the Son of Man and shall have drunk of Him the blood, not you have life in yourselves.
Jesus sade då till dem: "Sannerligen, sannerligen säger jag eder: Om I icke äten Människosonens kött och dricken hans blod, så haven I icke liv i eder.
54 The [one] eating of My flesh and drinking of My blood has life eternal, and I myself and I myself will raise up him in the last day. (aiōnios g166)
Den som äter mitt kött och dricker mitt blod, han har evigt liv, och jag skall låta honom uppstå på den yttersta dagen. (aiōnios g166)
55 The for flesh of Me (true *N(k)O*) is food, and the blood of Me (true *N(k)O*) is drink.
Ty mitt kött är sannskyldig mat, och mitt blod är sannskyldig dryck.
56 The [one] eating of My flesh and drinking of My blood in Me myself abides and I myself and I myself in him.
Den som äter mitt kött och dricker mitt blod, han förbliver i mig, och jag förbliver i honom.
57 Even as sent Me the living Father and I myself and I myself live because of the Father, also the [one] feeding on Me he also he also (will live *N(k)O*) because of Me myself.
Såsom Fadern, han som är den levande, har sänt mig, och såsom jag lever genom Fadern, så skall ock den som äter mig leva genom mig.
58 This is the bread from (*k*) heaven having come down, not even as ate the fathers (of you *K*) (*k*) (manna *K*) and died; The [one] eating this bread (will live *N(k)O*) to the age. (aiōn g165)
Så är det med det bröd som har kommit ned från himmelen. Det är icke såsom det fäderna fingo äta, vilka sedan dogo; den som äter detta bröd, han skall leva till evig tid." (aiōn g165)
59 These things He said in [the] synagogue teaching in Capernaum.
Detta sade han, när han undervisade i synagogan i Kapernaum.
60 Many therefore having heard of the disciples of Him said; Difficult is word this; who is able it to hear?
Många av hans lärjungar, som hörde detta, sade då: "Detta är ett hårt tal; vem står ut med att höra på honom?"
61 knowing however Jesus in Himself that are grumbling about this the disciples of Him He said to them; This you does offend?
Men Jesus visste inom sig att hans lärjungar knorrade över detta; och han sade till dem: "Är detta för eder en stötesten?
62 What if then you shall see the Son of Man ascending where He was before?
Vad skolen I då säga, om I fån se Människosonen uppstiga dit där han förut var? --
63 The Spirit is the [one] giving life, the flesh not profits no [thing]; The declarations that I myself (have spoken *N(k)O*) to you spirit are and life they are.
Det är anden som gör levande; köttet är till intet gagneligt. De ord som jag har talat till eder äro ande och äro liv.
64 But they are of you some who not believe. Knew for from [the] beginning Jesus who are those not believing and who it is who will betray Him.
Men bland eder finnas några som icke tro." Jesus visste nämligen från begynnelsen vilka de voro som icke trodde, så ock vilken den var som skulle förråda honom.
65 And He was saying; Because of this have I said to you that no [one] is able to come to Me only unless it shall granted to him from the Father (of mine. *k*)
Och han tillade: "Fördenskull har jag sagt eder att ingen kan komma till mig, om det icke bliver honom givet av Fadern."
66 From that [time] many (out of *no*) the disciples of Him went away to the back and no longer no longer with Him were walking.
För detta tals skull drogo sig många av hans lärjungar tillbaka, så att de icke längre vandrade med honom.
67 Said therefore Jesus to the Twelve; Surely not also you yourselves are wishing to go away?
Då sade Jesus till de tolv: "Icke viljen väl också I gå bort?"
68 Answered (therefore *K*) Him Simon Peter; Lord, to whom will we go? declarations of life eternal You have, (aiōnios g166)
Simon Petrus svarade honom: "Herre, till vem skulle vi gå? Du har det eviga livets ord, (aiōnios g166)
69 and we ourselves have believed and have known that You yourself are (Christ *K*) the (Holy One *N(K)O*) of God (who is living. *K*)
och vi tro och förstå att du är Guds helige."
70 Answered them Jesus; Not I myself you the Twelve did choose, and of you one a devil is?
Jesus svarade dem: "Har icke jag själv utvalt eder, I tolv? Och likväl är en av eder en djävul."
71 He was speaking now of Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot; *N(k)O*) he for was about to betray Him one (being *ko*) of the Twelve.
Detta sade han om Judas, Simon Iskariots son; ty det var denne som skulle förråda honom, och han var en av de tolv.
