< Ezra 10 >
1 And just as was praying Ezra and just as was confessing he weeping and prostrating himself before [the] house of God they gathered to him from Israel a company great very men and women and children for they wept the people great weeping.

2 And he answered Shecaniah [the] son of Jehiel one of [the] descendants of (Elam *Q(K)*) and he said to Ezra we we have acted unfaithfully against God our and we have married women foreign from [the] peoples of the land and now there [is] hope for Israel on this.

3 And therefore let us make a covenant to God our to send out all wives and those born from them by [the] counsel of [the] Lord and the [people] trembling at [the] commandment of God our and according to the law let it be done.
Te dongah ka boei rhoek neh kaimih kah Pathen olpaek dongah aka thuen rhoek kah cilsuep bangla huta rhoek neh amih kah a cun boeih te tueih hamla kaimih kah Pathen taengah paipi saii uh pawn sih lamtah olkhueng bangla vai uh saeh.
4 Arise for [is] on you the matter and we [will be] with you be strong and act.
Olka he namah hut coeng dongah thoo lamtah kaimih khaw nang taengah ka om uh. Thaahuel lamtah saii laeh,” a ti nah.
5 And he arose Ezra and he made to swear an oath [the] leaders of the priests the Levites and all Israel to do according to the manner this and they swore [the] oath.
Te dongah Ezra te thoo tih a toemngam. Levi khosoih mangpa rhoek neh Israel boeih long khaw te ol bangla saii ham a toemngam uh.
6 And he arose Ezra from to before [the] house of God and he went into [the] room of Jehohanan [the] son of Eliashib and he went there food not he ate and water not he drank for [he was] mourning on [the] unfaithfulness of the exile[s].
Te phoeiah tah Ezra te Pathen im hmai lamloh thoo tih Eliashib capa Jehohanan kah imkhan la cet. Buh te pahoi a paan dae ca pawt tih vangsawn boekoeknah ham a nguekcoi dongah tui khaw o pawh.
7 And they caused to pass a proclamation in Judah and Jerusalem to all [the] children of the exile to assemble Jerusalem.
Te dongah vangsawn koca boeih te Jerusalem la coi ham Judah neh Jerusalem ah ol a pat.
8 And every [one] who not he will come to [the] three the days according to [the] counsel of the leaders and the elders it will be forfeited all property his and he he will be separated from [the] assembly of the exile[s].
“Mangpa rhoek neh a hamca rhoek kah cilsuep bangla hnin thum khuiah aka pawk pawt boeih tah a khuehtawn boeih thup pah saeh lamtah anih te vangsawn hlangping lamloh hoep saeh” a ti.
9 And they assembled all [the] people of Judah and Benjamin - Jerusalem to [the] three the days it [was the] month ninth on [day] twenty in the month and they sat all the people in [the] open place of [the] house of God trembling on the matter and from the rains.
Te dongah Judah hlang neh Benjamin, Jerusalem pum tah hla ko hla kah hnin kul vaengah hnin thum khuiah tingtun uh. Te vaengah pilnam pum te Pathen im kah toltung ah ngol uh. Tekah ol neh khonal dong lamloh amih te thuen uh.
10 And he arose Ezra the priest and he said to them you you have acted unfaithfully and you have married women foreign to add to [the] guilt of Israel.
Te vaengah khosoih Ezra pai tih amih te, “Boe na koek tih Israel kah dumlai te koei hamla kholong nu neh kho na sak uh.
11 And therefore give praise to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your and do will his and separate yourselves from [the] peoples of the land and from the women foreign.
Te dongah na pa rhoek kah Pathen BOEIPA taengah uemonah khueh uh laeh. A kolonah te saii uh lamtah khohmuen pilnam taeng lamkah neh kholong nu taeng lamloh hoep uh laeh,” a ti nah.
12 And they answered all the assembly and they said a voice great so (according to word your *Q(K)*) on us to do.
Hlangping pum loh a doo uh tih ol a len la, “Namah ol van tangloeng ni, na ol bangla kaimih taengah saii pai.
13 But the people [is] numerous and the time [is] rains and there not [is] ability to stand on the outside and the business not [belongs] to a day one and not to two for we have increased to transgress in the matter this.
Tedae pilnam he ping tih khonal tue la om bal. Te dongah tollong ah pai ham thadueng a om moenih. He ol dongah boekoek la a ping dongah bitat he hnin at nen bueng pawt tih hnin nit ah coeng mahpawh.
14 Let them stand please leaders our for all the assembly and every [one] - who [is] in cities our who he has married women foreign let him come to times appointed and with them [the] elders of a city and a city and judges its until turn back [the] burning of [the] anger of God our from us until to the matter this.

15 Only Jonathan [the] son of Asahel and Jahzeiah [the] son of Tikvah they stood on this and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite[s] they supported them.
Asahel capa Jonathan neh Tikvah capa Jahaziah loh he he a tlai thil tih amih rhoi te Levi Meshullam neh Shabbethai loh a bom.
16 And they did thus [the] children of the exile and they separated themselves Ezra the priest men [the] leaders of the fathers for [the] house of ancestors their and all of them by names and they sat down on day one of the month tenth to investigate the matter.

17 And they finished with everything [the] men who they had married women foreign until day one of the month first.

18 And it was found some of [the] sons of the priests who they had married women foreign some of [the] sons of Jeshua [the] son of Jozadak and brothers his Maaseiah and Eliezer and Jarib and Gedaliah.
Te vaengah khosoih koca rhoek khuiah Jeshua koca lamkah Jozadak capa neh amah boeinaphung Maaseiah, Eliezer, Jarib neh Gedaliah tah kholong nu neh kho a sak te a hmuh.
19 And they gave hand their to send out wives their and [being] guilty a ram of [the] flock on guilt their.
Te dongah a yuu rhoek te tueih hamla a kut te a yuh uh tih amamih kah dumlai dongah boiva la tutal a rhaem uh.
20 And of [the] sons of Immer Hanani and Zebadiah.
Te phoeiah Immer koca rhoek lamloh Hanani neh Zebadiah.
21 And of [the] sons of Harim Maaseiah and Elijah and Shemaiah and Jehiel and Uzziah.
Harim koca lamloh Maaseiah, Elijah, Shemaiah, Jehiel neh Uzziah.
22 And of [the] sons of Pashhur Elioenai Maaseiah Ishmael Nethanel Jozabad and Eleasah.
Pashhur koca lamloh Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethanel, Jozabad neh Elasah.
23 And of the Levites Jozabad and Shimei and Kelaiah that [is] Kelita Pethahiah Judah and Eliezer.
Levi lamloh Jozabad, Shimei, Kelaiah, Kelita, Pethahiah, Judah neh Eliezer.
24 And of the singers Eliashib and of the gatekeepers Shallum and Telem and Uri.
Laa sa rhoek lamloh Eliashib, thoh tawt lamloh Shallum, Telem neh Uri.
25 And of Israel of [the] sons of Parosh Ramiah and Izziah and Malkijah and Mijamin and Eleazar and Malkijah and Benaiah.
Israel khuiah khaw Parosh koca lamloh Ramiah, Izziah, Malkhiah, Mijamin, Eleazar, Malkhiah neh Benaiah.
26 And of [the] sons of Elam Mattaniah Zechariah and Jehiel and Abdi and Jeremoth and Elijah.
Elam koca lamloh Mattaniah, Zekhariah, Jehiel, Abdi, Jerimoth neh Elijah.
27 And of [the] sons of Zattu Elioenai Eliashib Mattaniah and Jeremoth and Zabad and Aziza.
Zattu koca lamloh Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, Jerimoth, Zabad neh Aziza.
28 And of [the] sons of Bebai Jehohanan Hananiah Zabbai Athlai.
Bebai koca lamloh Jehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai neh Athlai.
29 And of [the] sons of Bani Meshullam Malluch and Adaiah Jashub and Sheal (and Ramoth. *Q(K)*)
Bani koca lamloh Meshullam, Mallukh, Adaiah, Jashub, Sheal, Jerimoth neh Ramah.
30 And of [the] sons of Pahath-Moab Adna and Kelal Benaiah Maaseiah Mattaniah Bezalel and Binnui and Manasseh.
Pahathmoab koca lamloh Adna, Khelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezalel, Binnui neh Manasseh.
31 And [the] sons of Harim Eliezer Isshiah Malkijah Shemaiah Simeon.
Harim koca ah Eliezer, Isshiah, Malkhiah, Shemaiah, Simeon.
32 Benjamin Malluch Shemariah.
Benjamin, Mallukh neh Shemariah.
33 Of [the] sons of Hashum Mattenai Mattattah Zabad Eliphelet Jeremai Manasseh Shimei.
Hashum koca lamloh Mattenai, Mattathah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Jeremai, Manasseh neh Shimei.
34 Of [the] sons of Bani Maadai Amram and Uel.

35 Benaiah Bedeiah (Keluhi. *Q(K)*)

42 Shallum Amariah Joseph.

43 Of [the] sons of Nebo Jeiel Mattithiah Zabad Zebina (Jaddai *Q(K)*) and Joel Benaiah.

44 All these (they had taken *Q(K)*) women foreign and there [were] some of them wives and they [masc] had made children.
