1 Chronicles 14
1 And he sent (Huram *Q(K)*) [the] king of Tyre messengers to David and wood of cedar and craftsmen of a wall and craftsmen of wood to build for him a house.
А Хирам, цар тирски посла посланике к Давиду и дрва кедрових и зидара и дрводеља да му саграде кућу.
2 And he knew David that he had appointed him Yahweh to king over Israel that [was] exalted upwards kingdom his for sake of people his Israel.
И разуме Давид да га је Господ утврдио за цара над Израиљем и да се царство његово подиже високо ради народа Његовог Израиља.
3 And he took David again wives in Jerusalem and he fathered David again sons and daughters.
И Давид узе још жена у Јерусалиму и изроди још синова и кћери.
4 And these [are] [the] names of the [ones] born who they belonged to him in Jerusalem Shammua and Shobab Nathan and Solomon.
И ово су имена оних који му се родише у Јерусалиму: Сануја и Совав, Натан и Соломун,
5 And Ibhar and Elishua and Elpelet.
И Јевар и Елисуја и Елфалет,
6 And Nogah and Nepheg and Japhia.
И Нога и Нефег и Јафија
7 And Elishama and Beeliada and Eliphelet.
И Елисама и Велијада и Елифалет.
8 And they heard [the] Philistines that he had been anointed David to king over all Israel and they went up all [the] Philistines to seek David and he heard David and he went out before them.
А Филистеји чувши да је Давид помазан за цара над свим Израиљем, изиђоше сви Филистеји да траже Давида; а Давид чувши то изиђе пред њих.
9 And [the] Philistines they had come and they had made a raid in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites.
И Филистеји дошавши раширише се по долини рафајској.
10 And he enquired David by God saying ¿ will I go up on ([the] Philistines *Q(k)*) and will you give? them in hand my and he said to him Yahweh go up and I will give them in hand your.
Тада Давид упита Господа говорећи: Хоћу ли изаћи на Филистеје? И хоћеш ли их дати у моје руке? А Господ му рече: Изађи, и даћу их у твоје руке.
11 And they went up at Baal Perazim and he struck down them there David and he said David he has burst out against God enemies my by hand my like a bursting out of water there-fore people called [the] name of the place that Baal Perazim.
Тада отидоше у Вал-Ферасим, и поби их онде Давид, и рече Давид: Продре Бог непријатеље моје мојом руком, као што вода продире. Отуда се прозва место Вал-Ферасим.
12 And they abandoned there gods their and he spoke David and they were burned with fire.
И оставише онде богове своје; а Давид заповеди, те их спалише огњем.
13 And they repeated again [the] Philistines and they made a raid in the valley.
А Филистеји опет по други пут раширише се по оном долу.
14 And he enquired again David by God and he said to him God not you will go up after them go around from on them and you will come to them from [the] front of the balsam trees.
И Давид опет упита Бога, а Бог му рече: Не иди за њима, него се врати од њих, па удари на њих према дудовима.
15 So may it be when hearing you [the] sound of marching in [the] tops of the balsam trees then you will go out in battle for he has gone out God before you to strike down [the] camp of [the] Philistines.
И кад чујеш да зашушти по врховима од дудова, тада изиђи у бој; јер ће поћи Бог пред тобом да побије војску филистејску.
16 And he did David just as he had commanded him God and they struck down [the] camp of [the] Philistines from Gibeon and to Gezer.
И учини Давид како му заповеди Бог и поби војску филистејску од Гаваона до Гезера.
17 And it went out [the] name of David in all the lands and Yahweh he put dread of him on all the nations.
И разгласи се име Давидово по свим земљама; и Господ зададе страх од њега свим народима.
