Zechariah 3
1 And he shewed me, Joshua the high priest, standing before the messenger of Yahweh, —and, the Accuser, standing at his right hand, to accuse him.
Şi el mi l-a arătat pe Iosua, marele preot, stând în picioare înaintea îngerului DOMNULUI şi pe Satan stând în picioare la dreapta lui, pentru a i se împotrivi.
2 Then said Yahweh unto the Accuser, Yahweh rebuke thee, O Accuser, Yea Yahweh rebuke thee, he who is choosing Jerusalem, —Is not, this, a brand snatched out of the fire?
Şi DOMNUL i-a spus lui Satan: DOMNUL să te mustre, Satan! Chiar DOMNUL, care a ales Ierusalimul, să te mustre! Nu este acesta un semn de înfierare smuls din foc?
3 Now, Joshua, was clothed with filthy garments, —though standing before the messenger.
Şi Iosua era îmbrăcat cu haine murdare şi stătea în picioare înaintea îngerului.
4 Then responded he and spake unto those who were standing before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from off him; and he said unto him, See! I have caused to pass from off thee, thine iniquity, And will cause thee to be clothed in robes of state.
Şi îngerul a răspuns şi a vorbit celor care stăteau în picioare înaintea lui, spunând: Luaţi de pe el hainele murdare. Şi lui i-a spus: Iată, am făcut ca nelegiuirea ta să treacă de la tine şi cu un rând de haine te voi îmbrăca.
5 Then said I, Let them put a clean turban upon his head, —So they put the clean turban upon his head, and clothed him with garments, and, the messenger of Yahweh, was standing up.
Iar eu am spus: Să-i pună o mitră frumoasă pe cap. Astfel ei i-au pus o mitră frumoasă pe cap şi l-au îmbrăcat cu haine. Şi îngerul DOMNULUI stătea de faţă.
6 So then the messenger of Yahweh did solemnly affirm unto Joshua, saying:
Şi îngerul DOMNULUI l-a avertizat pe Iosua, spunând:
7 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, If, in my ways, thou wilt walk, and if, of my charge, thou wilt keep charge, Then, even thou, shalt govern my house, Moreover also, thou shalt have charge of my courts, —and I will give thee free access among these who stand by.
Astfel spune DOMNUL oştirilor: Dacă vei umbla în căile mele şi dacă vei păzi însărcinarea mea, atunci tu vei judeca de asemenea casa mea şi de asemenea vei păzi curţile mele şi îţi voi da locuri să umbli între aceştia care stau de faţă.
8 Hear, I pray thee, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy friends who are sitting before thee, for, men to serve as signs, they are, —For behold me! bringing in my servant, the Bud;
Ascultă Iosua, mare preot, tu şi tovarăşii tăi care şed înaintea ta, pentru că ei sunt oameni admiraţi; căci, iată, eu voi aduce pe servitorul meu, LĂSTARUL.
9 For lo! the stone which I have set before Joshua, Upon one stone, are Seven (pairs of) Eyes, —Behold me! cutting the engraving thereof, declareth Yahweh of hosts. So will I take away the iniquity of that land in one day.
Căci, iată, piatra pe care am pus-o înaintea lui Iosua: pe o singură piatră vor fi şapte ochi; iată, eu voi grava inscripţia ei, spune DOMNUL oştirilor, şi voi îndepărta nelegiuirea acestei ţări într-o singură zi.
10 In that day, declareth Yahweh of hosts, Ye shall invite one another, —[to come] under the vine and under the fig-tree.
În acea zi, spune DOMNUL oştirilor, veţi chema, fiecare pe aproapele său sub viţă şi sub smochin.
