Psalms 105
1 Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;
௧யெகோவாவை துதித்து, அவருடைய பெயரை பிரபலமாக்குங்கள், அவருடைய செய்கைகளை தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.
2 Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
௨அவரைப் பாடி, அவரைப் புகழுங்கள்; அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.
3 Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
௩அவருடைய பரிசுத்த பெயரைக் குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டுங்கள்; யெகோவாவை தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.
4 Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.
௪யெகோவாவையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நாடுங்கள்; அவர் சமுகத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து தேடுங்கள்.
5 Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.
௫அவருடைய ஊழியனாகிய ஆபிரகாமின் சந்ததியே! அவரால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாகிய யாக்கோபின் மக்களே!
6 O ye Seed of Abraham—his servants, Sons of Jacob—his chosen ones:
௬அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும், அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும், அவர் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவுகூருங்கள்.
7 Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.
௭அவரே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா, அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் விளங்கும்.
8 He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;
௮ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வார்த்தையும், ஆபிரகாமோடு அவர் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையையும்,
9 Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
௯அவர் ஈசாக்குக்கு இட்ட ஆணையையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைத்திருக்கிறார்.
10 And confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;
௧0அதை யாக்கோபுக்குப் பிரமாணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நிரந்தர உடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி:
11 Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;
௧௧உங்களுடைய சுதந்தரபாகமான கானான் தேசத்தை உனக்குத் தருவேன் என்றார்.
12 While as yet they were men easily counted, —A very few, and sojourners therein;
௧௨அக்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் கொஞ்சத் தொகைக்குட்பட்ட சில மக்களுமாக இருந்தார்கள்.
13 And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.
௧௩அவர்கள் ஒரு தேசத்தைவிட்டு மறு தேசத்திற்கும், ஒரு ராஜ்ஜியத்தைவிட்டு மறுதேசத்திற்கும் போனார்கள்.
14 He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—[even] kings!
௧௪அவர்களை ஒடுக்கும்படி ஒருவருக்கும் இடங்கொடுக்காமல், அவர்களுக்காக ராஜாக்களைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு:
15 Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
௧௫நான் அபிஷேகம்செய்தவர்களை நீங்கள் தொடாமலும், என்னுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாமலும் இருங்கள் என்றார்.
16 Then called he a famine over the land, All the staff of bread, he brake;
௧௬அவர் தேசத்திலே பஞ்சத்தை வரவழைத்து, உணவு என்னும் ஆதரவுகோலை முற்றிலும் முறித்தார்.
17 He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold—[even] Joseph;
௧௭அவர்களுக்கு முன்னாலே ஒரு மனிதனை அனுப்பினார்; யோசேப்பு சிறையாக விற்கப்பட்டான்.
18 They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;
௧௮அவனுடைய கால்களை விலங்குபோட்டு ஒடுக்கினார்கள்; அவனுடைய உயிர் இரும்பில் அடைபட்டிருந்தது.
19 Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;
௧௯யெகோவா சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறும்வரை அவருடைய வசனம் அவனைப் புடமிட்டது.
20 The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;
௨0ராஜா ஆள் அனுப்பி, அவனைக் கட்டவிழ்க்கச் சொன்னான்; மக்களின் அதிபதி அவனை விடுதலை செய்தான்.
21 He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;
௨௧தன்னுடைய பிரபுக்களை அவனுடைய மனதின்படி கட்டவும், தன்னுடைய மூப்பர்களை ஞானிகளாக்கவும்,
22 That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.
௨௨அவனைத் தன்னுடைய வீட்டுக்கு அதிகாரியும், தன்னுடைய செல்வங்களுக்கெல்லாம் ஆளுனராகவும் ஏற்படுத்தினார்.
23 So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;
௨௩அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் எகிப்திற்கு வந்தான்; யாக்கோபு காமின் தேசத்திலே அந்நியனாக இருந்தான்.
24 And he made his people exceeding fruitful, —And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.
௨௪அவர் தம்முடைய மக்களை மிகவும் பலுகச்செய்து, அவர்களுடைய எதிரிகளைவிட அவர்களைப் பலவான்களாக்கினார்.
25 He let them turn their heart—To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;
௨௫தம்முடைய மக்களைப் பகைக்கவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களை வஞ்சனையாக நடத்தவும், அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தை மாற்றினார்.
26 He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
௨௬தம்முடைய ஊழியனாகிய மோசேயையும் தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஆரோனையும் அனுப்பினார்.
27 He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;
௨௭இவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குள் அவருடைய அடையாளங்களையும், காமின் தேசத்திலே அற்புதங்களையும் செய்தார்கள்.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;
௨௮அவர் இருளை அனுப்பி, காரிருளை உண்டாக்கினார்; அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை எதிர்ப்பவர்கள் இல்லை.
29 He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;
௨௯அவர்களுடைய தண்ணீர்களை இரத்தமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களுடைய மீன்களை சாகடித்தார்.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!
௩0அவர்களுடைய தேசம் தவளைகளை அதிகமாகப் பிறக்கவைத்தது; அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களின் அறைவீடுகளிலும் அவைகள் வந்தது.
31 He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;
௩௧அவர் கட்டளையிட, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலெங்கும் வண்டுகளும் பேன்களும் வந்தது.
32 He made their showers—hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;
௩௨அவர்களுடைய மழைகளைக் கல்மழையாக்கி, அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே ஜூவாலிக்கிற நெருப்பை வரச்செய்தார்.
33 And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;
௩௩அவர்களுடைய திராட்சைச்செடிகளையும் அத்திமரங்களையும் அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய எல்லைகளிலுள்ள மரங்களையும் முறித்தார்.
34 He spake—then came the swarming locust, —The devouring locust, and that without number;
௩௪அவர் கட்டளையிட, எண்ணிமுடியாத வெட்டுக்கிளிகளும் பச்சைப்புழுக்களும் வந்து,
35 And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
௩௫அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலுள்ள எல்லா தாவரங்களையும் அரித்து, அவர்களுடைய நிலத்தின் கனியைத் தின்றுபோட்டது.
36 Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;
௩௬அவர்களுடைய தேசத்திலே முதற்பிறப்புகள் அனைத்தையும், அவர்களுடைய பெலனில் முதற்பெலனான எல்லோரையும் அழித்தார்.
37 Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;
௩௭அப்பொழுது அவர்களை வெள்ளியோடும் பொன்னோடும் புறப்படச்செய்தார்; அவர்கள் கோத்திரங்களில் பலவீனப்பட்டவன் ஒருவனும் இருந்ததில்லை.
38 Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.
௩௮எகிப்தியர்கள் அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்ததினால், அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டபோது மகிழ்ந்தார்கள்.
39 He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
௩௯அவர் மேகத்தை மறைவுக்காக விரித்து, இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறதற்காக நெருப்பையும் தந்தார்.
40 They asked, and he brought in the quail, —And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;
௪0இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் உணவு கேட்டார்கள், அவர் காடைகளை வரச்செய்தார்; வான அப்பத்தினாலும் அவர்களைத் திருப்தியாக்கினார்.
41 He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;
௪௧கன்மலையைத் திறந்தார், தண்ணீர்கள் புறப்பட்டு, வனாந்திரத்தில் ஆறாக ஓடினது.
42 For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.
௪௨அவர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தையும், தம்முடைய ஊழியனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும் நினைத்து,
43 Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, —With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;
௪௩தம்முடைய மக்களை மகிழ்ச்சியோடும், தாம் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்களைக் கெம்பீர சத்தத்தோடும் புறப்படச்செய்து,
44 And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:
௪௪தமது கட்டளைகளைக் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கும், தமது நியாயப்பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும்,
45 In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
௪௫அவர்களுக்கு அந்நியர்களுடைய தேசங்களைக் கொடுத்தார்; அந்நிய மக்களுடைய உழைப்பின் பலனைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டார்கள். அல்லேலூயா.
