Isaiah 62
1 For Zion’s sake, will I not hold my peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake, will I not rest, —Until her righteousness, go forth as brightness, And her salvation, as a torch that is lighted.
১সিয়োনের জন্য আমি চুপ করে থাকব না এবং যিরূশালেমের পক্ষে আমি ক্ষান্ত থাকব না, যে পর্যন্ত না তার ধার্ম্মিকতা আলোর মত আর তার উদ্ধার জ্বলন্ত মশালের মত হয়ে দেখা দেয়।
2 So shall nations see thy righteousness, And all kings, thy glory; And thou shalt be called by a new name, which, the mouth of Yahweh, will name.
২সমস্ত জাতিরা তোমার ধার্ম্মিকতা দেখবে এবং সমস্ত রাজারা তোমার মহিমা দেখবে। তোমাকে একটা নতুন নামে ডাকা হবে; যা সদাপ্রভুই বেছে নেবেন।
3 Then shalt thou become—A crown of adorning, in the hand of Yahweh, and A royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
৩তুমিও সদাপ্রভুর হাতে একটা সুন্দরতার মুকুট হবে এবং তোমার ঈশ্বরের হাতে একটা রাজমুকুটের মত হবে।
4 Thou shalt he termed no longer—Forsaken Nor shall thy land be termed any longer A desolation, But, thou, shalt be called Hephzibah ["My delight is in her"], And, thy land, Beulah ["married"], —For Yahweh hath found delight in thee, And thy land, shall be married.
৪“পরিত্যক্ত,” তোমার বিষয়ে আর এই কথা বলা হবে না অথবা তোমার দেশেকে আর “জনশূন্য” বলা না, বরং তোমাকে “আমার প্রীতির পাত্রী” বলা হবে, আর তোমার দেশকে “বিবাহিতা” বলা হবে, কারণ সদাপ্রভু তোমার উপর খুশী হবেন এবং তোমার দেশ বিবাহিত হবে।
5 For a young man marrieth, a virgin, Thy sons marry thee! And the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride—Thy God, rejoiceth over thee.
৫যেমন একজন যুবক একজন কুমারী মেয়েকে বিয়ে করে, তেমনি তোমার ছেলেরা তোমাকে বিয়ে করবে; যেমন বর বউকে নিয়ে আনন্দ করে তেমনি তোমার ঈশ্বরও তোমাকে নিয়ে আনন্দ করবেন।
6 Upon thy walls O Jerusalem, have I appointed watchmen, All the day and all the night through, let them not hold their peace, —O ye that put Yahweh in mind, Do not take rest to yourselves,
৬হে যিরূশালেম, আমি তোমার দেয়ালের উপর পাহারাদার নিযুক্ত করেছি; তারা দিনের বা রাতে কখনও চুপ করে থাকবে না। তোমরা যারা সদাপ্রভুকে অবিরত মনে করিয়ে থাক, তোমরা চুপ করে থেকো না।
7 Neither give rest, unto him, Until he establish and until he set forth Jerusalem as a praise in the earth!
৭তাঁকে বিশ্রাম নিতে দিয়ো না যতক্ষণ না তিনি যিরূশালেমকে পৃথিবীর মধ্যে প্রশংসার পাত্র করে স্থাপন করেন।
8 Sworn hath Yahweh—By his own right hand, and By his own strong arm, —Surely I will give thy corn no more, as food to thine enemies, Nor shall the sons of the foreigner drink thy new wine, for which thou hast toiled;
৮সদাপ্রভু তাঁর ডান হাত, তাঁর শক্তিশালী হাত দিয়ে শপথ করে বলেছেন, “আমি আর কখনও তোমার শস্য খাবার হিসাবে শত্রুদের দেব না। যে নতুন আঙ্গুর রসের জন্য তোমরা পরিশ্রম করেছ তা আর বিদেশীরা খাবে না।
9 But they who have garnered it, shall eat it, and praise Yahweh, —And they who have gathered in its clusters, shall drink it in my holy courts.
৯কারণ যারা ফসল কাটবে তারাই সেই ফসল খাবে আর সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করবে এবং যারা আঙ্গুর জড়ো করবে তারা আমার পবিত্র উঠানে তার রস খাবে।”
10 Pass ye through pass ye through the gates, Prepare ye the way of the people, —Cast ye up, cast ye up the highway, Clear it of stones, Lift ye high a standard unto the peoples.
১০তোমরা এগিয়ে যাও, ফটকের মধ্য দিয়ে এগিয়ে যাও! লোকদের জন্য পথ প্রস্তুত কর! তোমরা রাজপথ তৈরী কর, তৈরী কর! সব পাথর সংগ্রহ কর; জাতিদের জন্য একটা সংকেতের পতাকা তোল।
11 Lo! Yahweh, hath sent a message unto the end of the earth: Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Lo! thy Salvation, is coming, —Lo! his reward, is with him, And, his recompense, before him:
১১দেখ, সদাপ্রভু পৃথিবীর শেষ সীমা পর্যন্ত ঘোষণা করছেন, “সিয়োন কন্যাকে বল, ‘দেখ, তোমার উদ্ধারকর্তা আসছেন! দেখ, তাঁর পুরষ্কার তার কাছেই রয়েছে; তাঁর বেতন তাঁর কাছেই আছে’।”
12 So shall men call them—The holy people The redeemed of Yahweh, —And, thou, shalt be called—Sought out, A city not forsaken,
১২তারা তোমাদের, “পবিত্র লোক,” “সদাপ্রভুর মুক্ত করা লোক।” এবং তোমাকে বলা হবে, “খুঁজে পাওয়া শহর, অপরিত্যক্ত শহর।”
