Genesis 5
1 This, is the record of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, In the likeness of God, made he him:
Jen estas la libro de naskoj de Adam. Kiam Dio kreis la homon, Li faris lin laŭ la bildo de Dio;
2 Male and female, created he them, —and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day they were created.

3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his likeness after his image, —and called his name Seth:

4 and the days of Adam, after he begat Seth, were eight hundred years, and he begat sons and daughters.

5 So all the days of Adam which he lived, were nine hundred and thirty years, —and he died.

6 And Seth lived a hundred and five years, —and begat Enosh:
Kaj Set vivis cent kvin jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Enoŝ.
7 and Seth lived, after he begat Enosh, eight hundred and seven years, —and begat sons and daughters:

8 and all the days of Seth were, nine hundred and I twelve years, —and he died.

9 And Enosh lived ninety years, —and begat Kenan;
Kaj Enoŝ vivis naŭdek jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Kenan.
10 and Enosh lived after he begat Kenan, eight hundred and fifteen years, —and begat sons and daughters;

11 and all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, —and he died.

12 And Kenan, lived seventy years, —and begat Mahalalel;
Kaj Kenan vivis sepdek jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Mahalalel.
13 and Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel, eight hundred and forty years, —and begat sons and daughters;
Kaj Kenan vivis, post kiam naskiĝis al li Mahalalel, okcent kvardek jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filoj kaj filinoj.
14 and all the days of Kenan were, nine hundred and ten years, —and he died.
Kaj la tuta vivo de Kenan estis naŭcent dek jaroj, kaj li mortis.
15 And Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, —and begat Jared;
Kaj Mahalalel vivis sesdek kvin jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Jared.
16 and Mahalalel lived after he begat Jared, eight hundred and thirty years, —and begat sons and daughters;
Kaj Mahalalel vivis, post kiam naskiĝis al li Jared, okcent tridek jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filoj kaj filinoj.
17 and all the days of Mahalalel were, eight hundred and ninety-five years, —and he died.

18 And Jared lived, a hundred and sixty-two years, and begat Enoch;
Kaj Jared vivis cent sesdek du jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Ĥanoĥ.
19 and Jared lived after he begat Enoch, eight hundred years, —and begat sons and daughters;
Kaj Jared vivis, post kiam naskiĝis al li Ĥanoĥ, okcent jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filoj kaj filinoj.
20 and all the days of Jared were, nine hundred and sixty-two years, —and he died.
Kaj la tuta vivo de Jared estis naŭcent sesdek du jaroj, kaj li mortis.
21 And Enoch lived sixty-five years, —and begat Methuselah;
Kaj Ĥanoĥ vivis sesdek kvin jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Metuŝelaĥ.
22 and Enoch walked with God, after he begat Methuselah, three hundred years, —and begat sons and daughters;
Kaj Ĥanoĥ iradis kun Dio, post kiam naskiĝis al li Metuŝelaĥ, tricent jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filoj kaj filinoj.
23 and all the days of Enoch were, three hundred and sixty-five years;
Kaj la tuta vivo de Ĥanoĥ estis tricent sesdek kvin jaroj.
24 and Enoch walked with God, —and was not for God had taken him.
Kaj Ĥanoĥ iradis kun Dio; kaj li malaperis, ĉar Dio lin prenis.
25 And Methuselah lived, a hundred and eighty-seven years, —and begat Lamech;
Kaj Metuŝelaĥ vivis cent okdek sep jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li Lemeĥ.
26 and Methuselah lived, after he begat Lamech, seven hundred and eighty-two years, —and begat sons and daughters;
Kaj Metuŝelaĥ vivis, post kiam naskiĝis al li Lemeĥ, sepcent okdek du jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filoj kaj filinoj.
27 and all the days of Methuselah were, nine hundred and sixty-nine years, —and he died.
Kaj la tuta vivo de Metuŝelaĥ estis naŭcent sesdek naŭ jaroj, kaj li mortis.
28 And Lamech lived, a hundred and eighty-two years, —and begat a son;
Kaj Lemeĥ vivis cent okdek du jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filo.
29 and he called his name Noah saying, —This, one shall give us rest from our work, And from the grievous toil of our hands, By reason of the ground which Yahweh hath cursed,
Kaj li donis al li la nomon Noa, dirante: Ĉi tiu konsolos nin en niaj faroj kaj en la laboroj de niaj manoj sur la tero, kiun la Eternulo malbenis.
30 And Lamech lived, after he begat Noah, five hundred and ninety-five years, —and begat sons and daughters;
Kaj Lemeĥ vivis, post kiam naskiĝis al li Noa, kvincent naŭdek kvin jarojn, kaj naskiĝis al li filoj kaj filinoj.
31 and all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, —and he died.
Kaj la tuta vivo de Lemeĥ estis sepcent sepdek sep jaroj, kaj li mortis.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old, —and Noah begat Shem, Ham and Japheth.
Kaj Noa havis la aĝon de kvincent jaroj, kaj al Noa naskiĝis Ŝem, Ĥam, kaj Jafet.
