Ezra 1
1 In the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, to fulfil the word of Yahweh from the mouth of Jeremiah, Yahweh aroused the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia, and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, moreover also in writing, saying:
Y en el primer año de Ciro rey de Persia, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová dicha por la boca de Jeremías, despertó Jehová el espíritu de Ciro rey de Persia, el cual hizo pasar pregón por todo su reino, y también por escrito, diciendo:
2 Thus, saith Cyrus, king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth, hath Yahweh God of the heavens, given to me, —and, he himself, hath laid charge upon me, to build for him a house, in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Así dijo Ciro rey de Persia: Jehová Dios de los cielos me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra, y me ha mandado que le edifique casa en Jerusalem, que es en Judá.
3 Who is there among you of all his people? His God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, —and build the house of Yahweh God of Israel, (he, is God!) which is in Jerusalem;
¿Quién hay entre vosotros de todo su pueblo? Sea Dios con él, y suba a Jerusalem, que es en Judá, y edifique la casa a Jehová Dios de Israel, el cual es Dios: la cual casa está en Jerusalem.
4 And, whosoever is left, of all the places where he doth sojourn, let the men of his place uphold him, with silver and with gold, and with goods and with beasts, —along with a voluntary offering for the house of God, which is in Jerusalem.
Y a cualquiera que hubiere quedado de todos los lugares donde fuere extranjero, los varones de su lugar le ayuden con plata, y oro, y hacienda, y con bestias: con dones voluntarios para la casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalem.
5 Then arose the ancestral chiefs of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, —even every one whose spirit God had aroused, to go up to build the house of Yahweh, which was in Jerusalem;
Entonces se levantaron las cabezas de las familias de Judá y de Ben-jamín, y los sacerdotes y Levitas, de todos aquellos cuyo espíritu despertó Dios, para subir a edificar la casa de Jehová, que está en Jerusalem.
6 and, all they who were round about them, strengthened their hands, with utensils of silver, with gold with goods and with beasts, and with precious things, —besides any thing he had volunteered.
Y todos los que estaban en sus al derredores confortaron las manos de ellos con vasos de plata, y de oro, con hacienda, y bestias, y con cosas preciosas, además de lo que se ofreció voluntariamente.
7 And, King Cyrus, brought forth the utensils of the house of Yahweh, —which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth from Jerusalem, and put in the house of his gods: —
Y el rey Ciro sacó los vasos de la casa de Jehová, que Nabucodonosor había traspasado de Jerusalem, y puesto en la casa de sus dioses.
8 yea Cyrus king of Persia brought them forth, by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, —and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, a leader of Judah.
Y sacólos Ciro rey de Persia por mano de Mitridates tesorero, el cual los dio por cuenta a Sasabasar príncipe de Judá.
9 And, these, were the numbers of them, —basins of gold, thirty, basins of silver, a thousand, knives, twenty-nine;
De los cuales esta es la cuenta: Tazones de oro treinta, tazones de plata mil, cuchillos veinte y nueve,
10 bowls of gold, thirty, bowls of silver, of a secondary sort, four hundred and ten, —other utensils, a thousand.
Lebrillos de oro treinta, lebrillos de plata segundos cuatrocientos y diez; otros vasos mil.
11 All the utensils, in gold and silver, were five thousand and four hundred, —the whole, did Sheshbazzar bring up with the upbringing of the exile, out of Babylon unto Jerusalem.
Todos los vasos de oro y de plata cinco mil y cuatrocientos. Todos los hizo traer Sasabasar con los que subieron del cautiverio de Babilonia a Jerusalem.
