< Exodus 10 >

1 Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, —for, I, have suffered his heart to be dull and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs, in their midst;
Chuin Pakaiyin Mose heng'a asei jin, “Pharaoh heng'a che kit inlang, ga seikit tan. Keiman ama leh a sohte ho lungthim ka suhtah ahin, melchihna hicheng jouse hi ka kilah sah ding ahi,” ati.
2 and that thou mayest recount in the ears of thy son and thy sons’ son, what I did in derision of the Egyptians, and my signs which I displayed among them, —so shall ye know that I, am Yahweh.
“Chule nangman jong na chapate leh natupa te jah'a ichan geija ka gimsah uva chule melchihna tampi ka musah uve ti na jahsah thei na diuva kasei ahiye. Nangho jeng in jong keima hi Pakai kitipa chu kahi ti na hetdoh jeng diu ahi,” ati.
3 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him—Thus, saith Yahweh, God of the Hebrews, How long hast thou refused to humble thyself before me? Let my people go that they may serve me.
Mose leh Aaron jong Pharaoh heng'a achie lhonin asei lhon tai, “Hebrew mite Pakai, Pathen'in hitihin aseiye: Itih chan ka-angsung'a kunding da nahitam? Keima kin agabol na ding uvin, kamite soldoh tan.
4 But if, refusing, thou art to let my people go, behold me bringing in tomorrow a locust within thy bounds;
Nanop louva ahile, vetan! Jing nikho teng le na gamsung'a khaokho te kahin lansah ding ahi.
5 and it shall cover the eye of the land, so that one shall not be able to see the land, —and it shall eat the residue that hath escaped, that is left you from the hail, and shall eat up all the trees that sprout for you out of the field;
Gam pumpi a lodim soh uva tol lham jong na muthei louding ahi. Gilchang'in akheh lih lou amoh chengse khaokho ten aneh gam hel diu, loujaova keh thingphung hojouse jong anehchai kei ding'u ahiye.
6 and they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants and the houses of all the Egyptians, such as thy fathers and thy fathers’ fathers have never seen, from the day they came to be on the ground, until this day. And he turned away, and came out from the presence of Pharaoh.
Nangma insung hinhen nasohte insung hi jong leh Egypt gam insung jouse ahin lodim soh hel jeng diu, hiche tabang thilsoh gimnei hi napu napateo khang'a pat na gamsung uva anaum khalou lai ahi, tin ahenga agasei lhon tai, chuin Mose jong Pharaoh angsung'a kon in a potdoh tan ahi.
7 Then said the servants of Pharaoh unto him, How long shall this [man] become to us a snare? Let the men go, that they may serve Yahweh their God. Not yet, knowest thou, that Egypt is, ruined?
Pharaoh sohte hojong ahung uvin Pharaoh heng'a asei tauve. “amapa hi itih chan lom lom eiho ding'a hahsatna a lhunsah ding hitam? Mipi hohi chie uva a Pathen kin abolna diuvin soltan! Egypt mite pihi jou le nal'a mangthah gamding ahitauve ti na hetdoh hih laiyem?”
8 So Moses and Aaron were brought back unto pharaoh, and he said unto them—Go, serve Yahweh your God, —who, are they that are going?
Chuin Mose leh Aaron chu Pharaoh heng'a ding in ahin puilut kit tauvin. Pharaoh in jong amani jah'a aseiyin,”che uvin lang na-Pakaiju leh Na-Pathen kin gabol taovin. Ahile koipen mong hi nahiuvem ache ding? tin amani chu adong tan, ahi.
9 And Moses said, With our young and with our old, will we go, —with our sons and with our daughters with our flocks and with our herds, will we go, —for, the festival of Yahweh, is ours.
Mose'n a donbut'in, “ateh-akhang, kacha pate hou ahin ka chanu teho'u jaona khatcha kidalha lou ding ka hiuve. Ka kelngoi jouseo leh gancha jouse aboncha ka puisoh kei diu, chule keihon kut chu alouthei louva ka gabol teitei ding'u ahi,” ati.
10 Then he said unto them: Let Yahweh, so, be with you, when I let go you and your little ones! Look out for, harm, is straight before your faces.
Pharaoh'in jong asei jin, “kei man nangho nacha sen gei uva kasol doh tha ngei ngeija ahile Pakai umpi nachu chang un! Na lungthim sung lhonna lungthim phalou na keng lhon'e.
11 Not so! Go, I pray you, ye grown men and serve Yahweh, for, that, is what, ye, were seeking. And they were driven out from the presence of Pharaoh.
“Hiche vang chu hithei louhel ding ahi! Nangho lah'a Pasal chengse che uvin lang na Pakai ju kin gabol tauvin, hichu natup tenten uva hilou ham? Hiche phat chun Pharaoh angsung'a kon in a soldoh tauvin ahi.”
12 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Stretch forth thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locust, that it may come up over the land of Egypt, —and may eat up every herb of the land, all that the hail hath left.
Chuin Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseijin, “Egypt gamsung pumpia khaokhopite alan na ding in na khut jah doh jeng tan. Egypt gamsung'a hamphung gilchang in a khehlih moh chengse aboncha aneh gamset diu ahi,” ati.
13 And Moses stretched forth his staff over the land of Egypt, and, Yahweh, caused an east wind to drive through the land, all that day, and all the night, —when the morning, had come, the east wind, had brought the locust.
Mose’ atenggol chu Egypt gamsung pumpi chungvum a ajahdoh jeng tan ahile, hiche nikho chun Pakaiyin Egypt gamsung pumpi nilhum keileh khovah hel'in huiphalou solama kon'in tanglou vin anun sah tai. Jingkah in solam akon hui jin khaokhote ahon hon'in ahinpolut taovin ahi.
14 And the locust came up over all the land of Egypt, and settled in all the bounds of Egypt, —very grievous, before it, had not been such a locust as that, neither after it, should be one like it.
Chule Egypt gam pumpi chu khaokhoten alosoh hel jeng tan, hi tabang'a gamsunga khaokhote chu imatih channa ana um kha loulai ahiye.
15 So it covered the eye of all the land and the land was darkened, and it did eat every herb of the land and all the fruit of the trees, which the hail had left remaining, —so that there was not left remaining any green sprout in the trees or in the herb of the field in all the land of Egypt.
Khaokhoten gamsung pumpi alodim lhatau vin ahile mu athim lha jeng tai. Gelchang in akheh moh chengse gam leiset'a thing phung jouse jong anemang hel taovin, Egypt gamsung pumpi thingphung chule hamphung abonchan ana do khat jeng cha jong jong umlou vin khaokho ten anechai hel jeng taove.
16 Then hastened Pharaoh, to call for Moses and for Aaron, —and said—I have sinned against Yahweh your God, and against you.
Chuphat in Pharaoh in jong asohte ho asol loiyin, Mose leh Aaron agakousah un, hiti hin aseiye. “Keiman na Pakai leh nangni chung'a chonset phat louna kabol kha tai,” ati.
17 Now, therefore, forgive I pray you my sin—only this time, and make entreaty to Yahweh your God, —that he may take away from me, at least, this death.
“Ka chonset na nei ngaidam lhon'in, Pakai heng'a neitao peh teitei lhon tan, hiche thi gamna huise hi keima angsung'a kon in tolmang jeng lhon tan,” ati.
18 So he came out from Pharaoh, —and made entreaty unto Yahweh;
Mose jong Pharaoh angsung'a kon in a kondoh in Pakai heng'a aga tao tai,
19 and Yahweh turned back a west wind strong exceedingly, and carried away the locust and cast it into the Red Sea, —there was not left a single locust in all the bounds of Egypt.
Pakaiyin nisolam a kon in hui hattah ahin nunsah'in ahile, hiche huipi chun khaokhote jouse twikhanglen dung laiya alhoh lut soh hel jeng tai. Egypt gamsung pumpia khaokhote chu khat jeng cha jong aum ta hih hel jeng'in ahi.
20 But Yahweh suffered the heart of Pharaoh to wax bold, —and he did not let the sons of Israel go.
Ahinlah Pakaiyin Pharaoh lungthim asutah jeng na laijin, Pharaoh in jong mipi ho chu asol doh hih laiye.
21 Then said Yahweh unto Moses: Stretch forth thy hand over the heavens, that there may be darkness, over the land of Egypt, —and that one may feel the darkness.
Chuin Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseijin, “Nakhut ban jah'in lang vanlam sang tem in, Egypt gamsung pumpi muthim'in alo soh hel jeng ding ahi,” ati.
22 So Moses stretched forth his hand over the heavens, —and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days;
Mose'n jong Pakaiyin athupeh bang'in vanlam asan jeng'a ahile, “Egypt gamsung pumpi nithum sung mu athim lha jeng tan, ahi.”
23 they saw not one another neither rose any man from his couch for three days, —but all the sons of Israel, had light in their dwellings.
Hiche phatsung chun khat le khat akimu thei tapouvin, koimacha jeng jong pot le thei lou ahi tai. Ahinlah Israel chate chenna mun vang chu khovah'in aumpi jing uve.
24 Then Pharaoh called out unto Moses and said—Go serve Yahweh, only, your flocks and your herds, shall be left, —even your little ones shall go with you.
Ajonan Pharaoh in jong Mose a koukit tan, a heng'a aseije, “Cheuvin lang Pakai kin gabol tauvin,” nachate'u kipui jun lang, ahinlah na kelngoi hon teu vang na dalhah ding'u ahi,” ati.
25 And Moses said, Even thou thyself, shalt give into our hands sacrifices and ascending-offerings, —so shall we present offerings to Yahweh our God.
Mose'n adon but in, “hichu hithei him him ponte.” Ka gancha te'u chu nei puisah tei teiju angaije, ajeh chu ka Pakai u-leh ka Pathen angsung'a kilhaina a kaman chah ding'u ahi, ati.”
26 Moreover also, our own cattle, shall go with us—there shall not be left behind, a hoof, for thereof, must we take, to serve Yahweh our God, —even we ourselves, cannot know wherewith we must serve Yahweh, until we have come in thither.
“Ka gancha teu aboncha, ka pui teitei diu ahiye; khat jeng cha jong ka dalhah thei louhel diu ahi. Ajeh chu ka ganchate'u lah a konna hi keihon Pakai angsung'a kilhaina'a kat doh ding'a ka lhen doh cheh cheh diu ahi. Chule amun ka lhun kahse uva itilam dol'a Pakai kin ka bol diu ham ti ka hechen nai pouve,” ati.
27 And Yahweh let the heart of Pharaoh wax bold, —and he was not willing to let them go.
Ahinlah Pakaiyin Pharaoh lungthim chu khatvei a sutah kit nalai jin, Pharaoh'in jong mipiho chu asol doh hih laiye.
28 So Pharaoh said to him—Get thee from me, —take heed to thyself—do not any more! see my face, for in the day thou dost see my face, thou shalt die.
Chuin Pharaoh jong apeng jah jeng tan, “Mose henga aseiyin, ka- angsunga kon in potdoh jeng'in!” ati. “Keiman nangma ka gih nahiye. Avel'a nei hung kinung mupi kitthei lou hel ding ahi! Nei kimupi kit ngai ngaiya ahile hiche nikhoa chu nathi jeng ding ahi,” ati.
29 And Moses said—Well hast thou spoken, —no more again to see thy face.
Mose'n a donbut in, “Apha jenge,” “Avella ka kimaito pi tah lou ding nahiye,” ati.
