Deuteronomy 3
1 Then turned we and went up, the way of Bashan; and Og king of Bashan, came out to meet us, he, and all his people, to give battle at Edrei.
Potem obróciwszy się szliśmy drogą ku Basan; i wyciągnął przeciwko nam Og, król Basański, sam, i wszystek lud jego, ku bitwie w Edrej.
2 And Yahweh said unto me: Do not fear him, for into thy hand, have I delivered him and all his people and his land, —so then thou shalt do unto him, as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites who was dwelling in Heshbon.
Tedy rzekł Pan do mnie: Nie bój się go; bom go dał w ręce twoje, i wszystek lud jego, i ziemię jego, i uczynisz mu, jakoś uczynił Sehonowi, królowi Amorejskiemu, który mieszkał w Hesebon.
3 Then did Yahweh our God deliver into our hand, Og also, king of Bashan and all his people, —so we smote him until there was not left remaining to him a survivor.
Dał tedy Pan, Bóg nasz, w ręce nasze i Oga, króla Basańskiego, i wszystek lud jego, i poraziliśmy go, tak że nie zostało po nim nikogo.
4 And we captured all his cities, at that time, there was no fortress which we took not from them, —sixty cities all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
Wzięliśmy też wszystkie miasta jego na on czas; nie było miasta, którego byśmy im nie wzięli, sześćdziesiąt miast, wszystkę krainę Argob królestwa Ogowego w Basan.
5 All these, were fortified cities each with a high wall, folding gates and a bar, —besides country towns exceeding many.
Te wszystkie miasta opatrzone były murami wysokiemi, bramami, i zaworami, oprócz miasteczek murem nie obtoczonych bardzo wiele.
6 And we devoted them to destruction, doing unto them as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, —devoting to destruction every city of males, the women, and the little ones.
I spustoszyliśmy je, jakośmy uczynili Sehonowi, królowi Hesebońskiemu, wytraciwszy wszystkie miasta, męże, niewiasty i dzieci.
7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, made we our prey.
Tylko wszystkie bydła i łupy z miast rozebraliśmy między się.
8 Thus did we at that time take the land out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites (which was over the Jordan), —from the ravine of Arnon as far as Mount Hermon.
Wzięliśmy też na on czas ziemię z ręki dwóch królów Amorejskich, która leży z tej strony Jordanu, od rzeki Arnon aż do góry Hermon.
9 Sidonians, call Hermon Sirion, —but, the Amorites, call it Senir.
(Sydończycy zowią Hermon Szyryjon, a Amorejczycy zowią go Sanir.)
10 All the cities of the table-land, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, —unto Salecah, and Edrei, —cities of the kingdom of Og, in Bashan.
Wszystkie miasta w równinie, i wszystko Galaad, i wszystko Basan aż do Selcha, i Edrej, miasta królestwa Ogowego w Basan.
11 For, only Og, king of Bashan was left remaining of the remnant of the giants, lo! his bedstead, was a bedstead of iron, is not, the same, in Rabbath of the sons of Ammon? nine cubits, the length thereof and four cubits, the breadth thereof, by the fore-arm of a man.
Bo tylko sam Og, król Basański pozostał był z olbrzymów; oto, łoże jego łoże żelazne, azaż jeszcze nie jest w Rabbat, synów Ammonowych? dziewięć łokci długość jego, a cztery łokcie szerokość jego na łokieć męski.
12 And this land, took we in possession at that time, —from Aroer which is by the ravine of Arnon, and half the hill-country of Gilead and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites;
Gdyśmy tedy ziemię tę posiedli na on czas, od Aroer, które jest nad potokiem Arnon, i połowę góry Galaad, i miasta jej dałem Rubenitom, i Gadytom.
13 but the remainder of Gilead, and all Bashan the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh, —all the region of the Argob with all Bashan. The same, is called, A land of giants.
A ostatek Galaadu, i wszystko Basan, królestwa Ogowego, dałem połowie pokolenia Manasesowego, wszystkę krainę Argob, i wszystko Basan, które zowią ziemią olbrzymów.
14 Jair, son of Manasseh, took all the region of Argob, as far as the boundary of the Geshurites, and the Maachathites, —and called them after his own name The Bashan of Havvoth-jair unto this day.
Jair, syn Manasesów, posiadł wszystkę krainę Argob aż do granicy Jessury i Machaty; przetoż nazwał ją od imienia swego Basan Hawot Jair, aż do dzisiejszego dnia.
15 And, unto Machir, gave I Gilead;
Machirowi zaś dałem Galaad.
16 And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites, gave I—from Gilead even as far as the ravine of Arnon, the middle of the ravine and boundary, —even as far as the Jabbok ravine, the boundary of the sons of Ammon;
A Rubenitom i Gadytom dałem krainę od Galaadu aż do potoku Arnon, pół potoku z pograniczem, aż do potoku Jabok, granicy synów Ammonowych;
17 the Waste Plain also and the Jordan and boundary, —from Chinnereth, even as far as the sea of the Waste Plain the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah, on the east.
Przytem równinę i Jordan z pograniczem od Cyneret aż do morza pustego, które jest morze słone, pod górą Fazga na wschód słońca.
18 So I commanded you, at that time saying, —Yahweh your God hath given unto you this land to possess it, armed, shall ye pass over before your brethren the sons of Israel all the sons of valour,
I rozkazałem wam na on czas, mówiąc: Pan, Bóg wasz, dał wam tę ziemię, abyście ją dziedzicznie posiedli, a tak zbrojno pójdziecie przed bracią waszą, syny Izraelskimi, wszyscy mężowie duży.
19 Only, your wives and your little ones and your cattle—I know that ye have much cattle—shall abide in your cities which I have given unto you;
Tylko żony wasze, i dziatki wasze, i bydła wasze, (gdyż wiem, że dobytku siła macie, ) zostaną w mieściech waszych, którem wam dał.
20 until that Yahweh shall give rest unto your brethren, as well as you, so shall, they too, possess the land which, Yahweh your God, is giving unto them, over the Jordan, —then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given unto you.
Aż da odpoczynek Pan braci waszej, jako i wam, że i oni posiędą ziemię onę, którą Pan, Bóg wasz, dawa im za Jordanem: tedy się wróci każdy do osiadłości swojej, którą wam dał.
21 Joshua also, commanded I, at that time saying, —Thine are the eyes, that have seen all that Yahweh your God hath done unto these two kings, thus, will Yahweh do unto all the kingdoms whereunto thou, art passing over:
Jozuemu też przykazałem na on czas, mówiąc: Oczy twoje widziały wszystko, co uczynił Pan, Bóg wasz, onym dwom królom; toż uczyni Pan, wszystkim królestwom, do których ty pójdziesz.
22 ye shall not fear them, —for, Yahweh your God, he, it is that is fighting for you.
Nie bójcież się ich, ponieważ Pan, Bóg wasz, jest, który walczy za was.
23 Then sought I Yahweh at that time, for a favour saying:
I prosiłem Pana na on czas, mówiąc:
24 My Lord Yahweh, thou thyself, hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy firm hand, —as to which, what GOD is there, in the heavens or in the earth, that can do according to thy doings, and according to thy mighty deeds?
Panie Boże, tyś począł okazywać słudze twemu wielkość twoję, i rękę twoję możną; bo któż jest Bogiem na niebie, albo na ziemi, któryby czynić mógł według spraw twoich, i według możności twoich?
25 Let me pass over, I pray thee that I may see the good land that is over the Jordan, —this good mountain, and the Lebanon.
NIech przejdę proszę, abym oglądał tę wyborną ziemię, która jest za Jordanem, górę onę wyborną i z Libanem.
26 But Yahweh had been provoked with me for your sakes, and hearkened not unto me, —and Yahweh said unto me, Enough for thee! do not add a word unto me further in this matter.
Ale się rozgniewał Pan na mię dla was, i nie wysłuchał mię, i rzekł Pan do mnie: Dosyć masz, nie mówże już więcej do mnie o to.
27 Ascend the top of the Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes—westward, and northward and southward and eastward—and see with thine own eyes, —for thou shalt not pass over this Jordan.
Wstąp na wierzch góry Fazga, a podnieś oczy swe ku zachodowi, i ku północy, i ku południowi, i ku wschodowi, a przypatrz się oczyma swemi; bo nie przejdziesz przez ten Jordan;
28 But command thou Joshua and confirm him and embolden him, —for, he, shall pass over before this people, and, he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.
Ale porucz to Jozuemu, i umocnij go, a potwierdź go; albowiem on pójdzie przed tym ludem, a on poda im w dziedzictwo ziemię, którą oglądasz.
29 So we abode in the valley, over against Beth-peor.
A tak mieszkaliśmy w dolinie przeciw Betfegor.
