2 Chronicles 27
1 twenty-five years old, was Jotham when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Jerushah, daughter of Zadok.
| و یوتام بیست و پنج ساله بود که پادشاه شد و شانزده سال در اورشلیم سلطنت نمود و اسم مادرش یروشه دختر صادوق بود. | ۱ |
2 And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that Uzziah his father had done, only he entered not into the temple of Yahweh, —though still were the people acting corruptly.
| وآنچه در نظر خداوند پسند بود، موافق هرآنچه پدرش عزیا کرده بود، به عمل آورد، اما به هیکل خداوند داخل نشد لیکن قوم هنوز فسادمی کردند. | ۲ |
3 He, built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh, -and, on the wall of Ophel, built he extensively.
| و او دروازه اعلای خانه خداوند را بنانمود و بر حصار عوفل عمارت بسیار ساخت. | ۳ |
4 Cities also, built he, in the hill country of Judah, —and, in the thick woods, built he fortresses and towers.
| وشهرها در کوهستان یهودا بنا نمود و قلعه‌ها وبرجها در جنگلها ساخت. | ۴ |
5 He, also made war against the king of the sons of Ammon, and prevailed against them, and the sons of Ammon gave him, during that year, a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and, of barley, ten thousand, —this, did the sons of Ammon render him, both in the second year, and the third.
| و با پادشاه بنی عمون جنگ نموده، بر ایشان غالب آمد. پس بنی عمون در آن سال، صد وزنه نقره و ده هزار کر گندم و ده هزار کر جو به او دادند، و بنی عمون در سال دوم وسوم به همان مقدار به او دادند. | ۵ |
6 So Jotham strengthened himself, —for he fixed his ways before Yahweh his God.
| پس یوتام زورآور گردید زیرا رفتار خود را به حضور یهوه خدای خویش راست ساخت. | ۶ |
7 But, the rest of the story of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo! there they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
| و بقیه وقایع یوتام و همه جنگهایش و رفتارش، اینک درتواریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل و یهودا مکتوب است. | ۷ |
8 Twenty-five years old, was he when he began to reign, —and, sixteen years, reigned he in Jerusalem.
| و او بیست و پنج ساله بود که پادشاه شد وشانزده سال در اورشلیم سلطنت کرد. | ۸ |
9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him, in the city of David, —and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
| پس یوتام با پدران خود خوابید و او را در شهر داود دفن کردند، و پسرش آحاز در جایش سلطنت نمود. | ۹ |
