1 Peter 2
1 Putting away, therefore, all vice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envyings and all detractions,

2 As new-born babes, for the pure milk that is for the mind, eagerly crave, that, thereby, ye may grow unto salvation: —
Khobaang likhiik ang theng, adoleh chiiala nyupuuthi saachamcham ah chojok suh ram theng, tiimnge liidoh erah jok anbah ehak nyia epui ih an.
3 If ye have tasted for yourselves that, gracious, is the Lord, —
Rangteele ni amah liiha, “Senteewah raangtaan ih tiimthan minchante Teesu ah chojam han.”
4 Unto whom coming near, as unto a living stone—by men, indeed, rejected, but, with God, chosen, held in honour,
Teesu jiinnah thok han, heh langla ething jong nyia mina ih thangmuh ngeh ih dut haat arah enoothong Rangte ih thaangchaan thoon ngeh ih danje arah.
5 Yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, for a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices, well-pleasing unto God through Jesus Christ;
Sen loong ah ething jong likhiik ih thok han, eno sen teeteewah ah chiiala rangsoomnok hoon suh toom maak han, maradoh sen esa romwah ang anno esa nyia ekap etheng, Jisu Kristo jun ih Rangte suh khojoop toomhoon an.
6 Inasmuch as it is contained in scripture—Lo! I lay in Zion an outmost corner stone, chosen, held in honour, and, he that resteth faith thereupon, shall not be put to shame.
Tiimnge liidoh Rangteele ni liiha, Ngah ih thaangchaan thoon jong ah danje hang, marah ngah ih Jaion ni thonghong ih chap hang rah ah; eno o ih ang abah uh heh hanpi ah mabah uh tapaatja ka ang ah.”
7 Unto you, then, is the honour—[unto you] who believe; but, unto such as disbelieve, The stone which the builders rejected, —The same, hath become head of the corner,
Sen ih erah hanpi han jong ah thaangchaan thoon; enoothong o ih lahanpiika raang eba: “Nok hoonte ih marah jong thaangmuh ngeh ih dut haatta thoontang nang ih eseethoon ih donghoonla.”
8 And a stone to strike against, and a rock to stumble over: Who stumble because, unto the word, they do not yield, —unto which also they have been appointed;

9 But, ye, are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a peculiar treasure, that, the excellences, ye may tell forth, of him who, out of darkness, hath called you into his marvellous light: —
Enoothong sen loong abah danje choi jaat apaat, Luuwang romwah loong, esa noksong, Rangte heteewah mina, Rangte paatjaajih reela tiit baat suh danje halan, heh ih rangnak mong nawa hedakdak ih phaakla rangwu adi dokpoon tahan.
10 Who, at one time, were a No-people, but, now, are a people of God, —who had not been enjoying mercy, but, now, have received mercy.
Pootsiit sen loong Rangte mina tah angtan, enoothong amadi heh mina hoon lan; pootsiit sen ih Rangte minchan tiit ah tajat tan, enoothong amadi heh minchan ah chohan.
11 Beloved! I exhort you, as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly covetings, such as take the field against the soul;
Joon awaan loong, sen loong ah arah mongrep adi dookdate nyia nokmah wensang ngeh ih baatrum hala! Hansi tenthun nah nak ang an, erabah saarookwet senchi senla lam tangte.
12 Having, your behaviour among the nations, honourable, —in order that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may, owing to the honourable works they are permitted to behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Rangnak mih loong damdi songtong lan adoh sen reeraang pakna ah erathan ih ese ang theng, sen suh ethih mokalan nge ih nanhan adoh sen reeraang ese ah toom jatjoh rum ah, eno Jisu Kristo ngaakrak Rangwuuja neng ih Rangte rang toom phoongpha rum ah.
13 Submit yourselves unto every human creation, for the Lord’s sake, —whether unto a king, as one that protecteth,
Teesu tungthoidoh mina changdi ngoong awang angla loong jeng boichaat ih an: Erah mina langla Luuwanglong o ngoong awang nang ih elongthoon ah,
14 Or unto governors, as, through him, sent—for vengeance on evil-doers, but praise to such as do good;
erah damdi kobono, marah Luuwanglong ih ethih reeraangte siiwi thuk suh nyia ese reeraangte loong phoongpha thuk suh thiik ha warah ah.
15 Because, so, is the will of God, —by doing good, to be putting to silence, the ignorance of heedless men:
Tiimnge liidi Rangte ih wakngak mina loong jeng akong ah sen loong mootse kaatse nawa ih toihaat thuktheng liiha.
16 As free, yet, not as a cloak of vice, holding your freedom, but, as God’s servants.
Sen loong ah maama pongwan ih songtong an, enoothong seng pongwan ngeh ih li anno ethih ekhah loong ah nak bokpat an, eno Rangte dah likhiik ih songtong an.
17 Unto all men, give honour, unto the brotherhood, shew love, unto God, give reverence, the king, hold in honour.
Warep choomjoh an, hanpiite wahoh loong ah minchan ih an, Rangte choomjoh an, nyia Luuwanglong ah choomjoh an.
18 Ye domestics, submitting yourselves, in all reverence, unto your masters, —not only unto the good and considerate, but also unto the perverse;
Milaksuh sen loong ah sen changte lakhui nah tong anno heh choomjoh an, erah langla mih minchante nyia mise nyaami damdoh luulu lah ang theng, mithih damdoh uh emamah ang theng.
19 For, this, is thankworthy, —If, for the sake of conscience towards God, one beareth griefs, suffering wrongfully, —
Erah thoidoh Rangte ih romseetam kohan, tiimnge liidi seng lacham theng nyia sen suh laliilaangjih angta di uh Rangte tenthun tiit ah sen ih ejat ehan.
20 For what sort of honour is it—if, committing sin, and being buffeted, ye endure it? But, if, doing good, and suffering, ye endure it, this, is thankworthy with God.
Tiimnge liidi sen loong ah bot athom theng thet re lalidoh buthom han bah taat naan anbah uh tiim ma dakchoh an? Enoothong sen pun reeraang ih an donep chamthuk handoh naan an doba Rangte ih romseetam kohan.
21 For, hereunto, have ye been called; because, Christ also, suffered in your behalf, unto you, leaving behind a pattern, that ye might follow in his steps:
Rangte ih sen loong ah erah raangtaan ih poon tahan, tiimnge liidi sen loong asuh heh lih jen phan thuk suh Kristo heh teeteewah chamnaang ah tiitthaak esiit ih noisok tahan.
22 Who did not, a sin, commit, neither was deceit found in his mouth, —
Jisu rangdah tareeta, adoleh heh tui nawa tiit hu baat arah thaak chaatmuh.
23 Who, being reviled, was not reviling again, suffering, he was not threatening, but was making surrender unto him that judgeth righteously, —
Heh thaangju rumta adoh, heh ih ngaak thaangju muh; heh chamnaang thuk rumta doh heh ih choophaan muh, epun lam ih Dandeete Rangte suh ba laalomta.
24 Who, our sins, himself, bare up, in his body, unto the tree, in order that we, from our sins getting away, in righteousness, might live, —by whose stripes, ye have been healed;
Kristo heh teeteewah ih seng rangdah ah heh sakpuh ni bangphak adi roop huita, tiimnge liidi seng loong ah rangdah nah matti eno kateng ih tongthuk suh ah. Hesok hema thoidi ba sen ejende etan.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray, but have now turned back unto the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
Sen loong ah saapsah ih heh lam mat haat arah likhiik angtan, enoothong sen loong ah Saapjikte nyia chiiala loong ah Sokboite ah liphan suh ngaaksiit ih halan.
