Psalms 120

1 A Song of Ascents. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he answered me.

我受難時一呼求上主，祂就俯聽了我的呼求。

2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.

上主，求您救我脫離說謊者的口脣，上主，求您救我擺脫詭詐的舌根。

3 What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?

您這詭詐的口舌，究竟怎樣對待付您？究竟怎樣懲治您？

4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

只有勇士的矢箭，還有杜松的火炭！

5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

我真不幸! 因為要在默舍客居住，要在刻達爾的帳幕寄宿。

6 My soul hath long had her dwelling with him that hateth peace.

因與憎惡和平的人相處，我的靈魂已經感到太久。

7 I am [for] peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

我言談無非和平，他們卻鼓勵戰爭。
