Exodus 12
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
E fallou o Senhor a Moysés e a Aarão na terra do Egypto, dizendo:
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Este mesmo mez vos será o principio dos mezes: este vos será o primeiro dos mezes do anno.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth [day] of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for an household:
Fallae a toda a congregação d'Israel, dizendo: Aos dez d'este mez tome cada um para si um cordeiro, segundo as casas dos paes, um cordeiro para cada casa.
4 and if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbour next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man’s eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.
Mas se a casa fôr pequena para um cordeiro, então elle tome a seu visinho perto de sua casa, conforme ao numero das almas: cada um conforme ao seu comer, fareis a conta conforme ao cordeiro.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
O cordeiro, ou cabrito, será sem macula, um macho de um anno, o qual tomareis das ovelhas ou das cabras,
6 and ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.
E o guardareis até ao decimo quarto dia d'este mez, e todo o ajuntamento da congregação de Israel o sacrificará á tarde.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.
E tomarão do sangue, e pol-o-hão em ambas as umbreiras, e na lumieira da porta, nas casas em que o comerão.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
E n'aquella noite comerão a carne assada no fogo, com pães asmos; com hervas amargosas a comerão.
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.
Não comereis d'elle crú, nem cozido em agua, senão assado ao fogo, a sua cabeça com os seus pés e com a sua fressura.
10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
E nada d'elle deixareis até ámanhã: mas o que d'elle ficar até ámanhã, queimareis no fogo.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand: and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover,
Assim pois o comereis: os vossos lombos cingidos, os vossos sapatos nos pés, e o vosso cajado na mão: e o comereis apressadamente: esta é a paschoa do Senhor.
12 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the LORD.
E eu passarei pela terra do Egypto esta noite, e ferirei todo o primogenito na terra do Egypto, desde os homens até aos animaes; e em todos os deuses do Egypto farei juizos, Eu sou o Senhor.
13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
E aquelle sangue vos será por signal nas casas em que estiverdes; vendo eu sangue, passarei por cima de vós, e não haverá entre vós praga de mortandade, quando eu ferir a terra do Egypto.
14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
E este dia vos será por memoria, e celebral-o-heis por festa ao Senhor: nas vossas gerações o celebrareis por estatuto perpetuo.
15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
Sete dias comereis pães asmos; ao primeiro dia tirareis o fermento das vossas casas; porque qualquer que comer pão levedado, desde o primeiro até ao setimo dia, aquella alma será cortada d'Israel.
16 And in the first day there shall be to you an holy convocation, and in the seventh day an holy convocation; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
E ao primeiro dia haverá sancta convocação; tambem ao setimo dia tereis sancta convocação: nenhuma obra se fará n'elles, senão o que cada alma houver de comer; isso sómente apromptareis para vós.
17 And ye shall observe the [feast of] unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance for ever.
Guardae pois a festa dos pães asmos, porque n'aquelle mesmo dia tirei vossos exercitos da terra do Egypto: pelo que guardareis a este dia nas vossas gerações por estatuto perpetuo.
18 In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
No primeiro mez, aos quatorze dias do mez, á tarde, comereis pães asmos até vinte e um do mez á tarde.
19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or one that is born in the land.
Por sete dias não se ache nenhum fermento nas vossas casas: porque qualquer que comer pão levedado, aquella alma será cortada da congregação de Israel, assim o estrangeiro como o natural da terra.
20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.
Nenhuma coisa levedada comereis; em todas as vossas habitações comereis pães asmos.
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.
Chamou pois Moysés a todos os anciãos de Israel, e disse-lhes: Escolhei e tomae vós cordeiros para vossas familias, e sacrificae a paschoa.
22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
Então tomae um mólho de hyssopo, e molhae-o no sangue que estiver na bacia, e mettei na lumieira da porta, e em ambas as umbreiras, do sangue que estiver na bacia, porém nenhum de vós saia da porta da sua casa até á manhã
23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
Porque o Senhor passará para ferir aos egypcios, porém quando vir o sangue na lumieira da porta, e em ambas as umbreiras, o Senhor passará aquella porta, e não deixará ao destruidor entrar em vossas casas, para vos ferir.
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
Portanto guardae isto por estatuto para vós, e para vossos filhos para sempre.
25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
E acontecerá que, quando entrardes na terra que o Senhor vos dará, como tem dito, guardareis este culto.
26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
E acontecerá que, quando vossos filhos vos disserem: Que culto é este vosso?
27 that ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
Então direis: Este é o sacrificio da paschoa ao Senhor, que passou as casas dos filhos d'Israel no Egypto, quando feriu aos egypcios, e livrou as nossas casas. Então o povo inclinou-se, e adorou.
28 And the children of Israel went and did so; as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
E foram os filhos d'Israel, e fizeram isso; como o Senhor ordenara a Moysés e a Aarão, assim fizeram.
29 And it came to pass at midnight, that the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
E aconteceu, á meia noite, que o Senhor feriu a todos os primogenitos na terra do Egypto, desde o primogenito de Pharaó, que se sentava em seu throno, até ao primogenito do captivo que estava no carcere, e todos os primogenitos dos animaes.
30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
E Pharaó levantou-se de noite, elle e todos os seus servos, e todos os egypcios; e havia grande clamor no Egypto, porque não havia casa em que não houvesse um morto.
31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
Então chamou a Moysés e a Aarão de noite, e disse: Levantae-vos, sahi do meio do meu povo, tanto vós como os filhos d'Israel: e ide, servi ao Senhor, como tendes dito.
32 Take both your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
Levae tambem comvosco vossas ovelhas e vossas vaccas, como tendes dito; e ide, e abençoae-me tambem a mim.
33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
E os egypcios apertavam ao povo, apressando-se para lançal-os da terra; porque diziam: Todos somos mortos.
34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
E o povo tomou a sua massa, antes que levedasse, as suas amassadeiras atadas em seus vestidos, sobre seus hombros.
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
Fizeram pois os filhos de Israel conforme á palavra de Moysés, e pediram aos egypcios vasos de prata, e vasos de oiro, e vestidos.
36 and the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
E o Senhor deu graça ao povo em os olhos dos egypcios, e emprestavam-lhes: e elles despojavam aos egypcios.
37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
Assim partiram os filhos de Israel de Rameses para Succoth, coisa de seiscentos mil de pé, sómente de varões, sem contar os meninos.
38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
E subiu tambem com elles muita mistura de gente, e ovelhas, e vaccas, uma grande multidão de gado.
39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
E cozeram bolos asmos da massa que levaram do Egypto, porque não se tinha levedado, porquanto foram lançados do Egypto; e não se poderam deter, nem ainda se prepararam comida.
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, which they sojourned in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
O tempo que os filhos de Israel habitaram no Egypto foi de quatrocentos e trinta annos.
41 And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
E aconteceu, passados os quatrocentos e trinta annos, n'aquelle mesmo dia succedeu que todos os exercitos do Senhor sairam da terra do Egypto.
42 It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD, to be much observed of all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
Esta noite se guardará ao Senhor, porque n'ella os tirou da terra do Egypto: esta é a noite do Senhor, que devem guardar todos os filhos de Israel nas suas gerações.
43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: there shall no alien eat thereof:
Disse mais o Senhor a Moysés e a Aarão: Esta é a ordenança da paschoa; nenhum filho do estrangeiro comerá d'ella.
44 but every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
Porém todo o servo de qualquer, comprado por dinheiro, depois que o houveres circumcidado, então comerá d'ella.
45 A sojourner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
O estrangeiro e o assalariado não comerão d'ella.
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth aught of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
N'uma casa se comerá; não levarás d'aquella carne fóra da casa, nem d'ella quebrareis osso.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
Toda a congregação de Israel o fará.
48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
Porém se algum estrangeiro se hospedar comtigo, e quizer celebrar a paschoa ao Senhor, seja-lhe circumcidado todo o macho, e então chegará a celebral-a, e será como o natural da terra; mas nenhum incircumciso comerá d'ella.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Uma mesma lei haja para o natural, e para o estrangeiro que peregrinar entre vós.
50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
E todos os filhos de Israel o fizeram: como o Senhor ordenara a Moysés e a Aarão, assim fizeram.
51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
E aconteceu n'aquelle mesmo dia que o Senhor tirou os filhos de Israel da terra do Egypto, segundo os seus exercitos.
