Luke 1
1 To his Excellency, Theophilus. Many attempts have been already made to draw up an account of those events which have reached their conclusion among us,
Фииндкэ мулць с-ау апукат сэ алкэтуяскэ о историсире амэнунцитэ деспре лукруриле каре с-ау петрекут принтре ной,
2 just as they were reported to us by those who from the beginning were eye-witnesses, and afterward became bearers of the message.

3 And, therefore, I also, since I have investigated all these events with great care from their very beginning, have resolved to write a connected history of them for you,
ам гэсит ши еу ку кале, пряалесуле Теофиле, дупэ че ам фэкут черчетэрь ку де-амэнунтул асупра тутурор ачестор лукрурь де ла обыршия лор, сэ ци ле скриу ын шир унеле дупэ алтеле,
4 in order that you may be able to satisfy yourself of the accuracy of the story which you have heard from the lips of others.
ка сэ поць куноаште астфел темейничия ынвэцэтурилор пе каре ле-ай примит прин виу грай.
5 In the reign of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the division called after Abijah. His wife, whose name was Elizabeth, was also a descendant of Aaron.
Ын зилеле луй Ирод, ымпэратул Иудеий, ера ун преот нумит Захария, дин чата луй Абия. Неваста луй ера дин фетеле луй Аарон, ши се кема Елисабета.
6 They were both righteous people, who lived blameless lives, guiding their steps by all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.
Амындой ерау неприхэниць ынаинтя луй Думнезеу ши пэзяу фэрэ патэ тоате порунчиле ши тоате рындуелиле Домнулуй.
7 But they had no child, Elizabeth being barren; and both of them were advanced in years.
Н-авяу копий, пентру кэ Елисабета ера стярпэ; ши амындой ерау ынаинтаць ын вырстэ.
8 One day, when Zechariah was officiating as priest before God, during the turn of his division,
Дар, пе кынд служя Захария ынаинтя луй Думнезеу, ла рындул четей луй,
9 it fell to him by lot, in accordance with the practice among the priests, to go into the Temple of the Lord and burn incense;
дупэ обичеюл преоцией, а ешит ла сорць сэ интре сэ тэмыезе ын Темплул Домнулуй.
10 and, as it was the Hour of Incense, the people were all praying outside.
Ын часул тэмыерий, тоатэ мулцимя нородулуй се руга афарэ.
11 And an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right of the Altar of Incense.
Атунч, ун ынӂер ал Домнулуй с-а арэтат луй Захария ши а стат ын пичоаре ла дряпта алтарулуй пентру тэмыере.
12 Zechariah was startled at the sight and was awe-struck.
Захария с-а ынспэймынтат, кынд л-а вэзут, ши л-а апукат фрика.
13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, whom you will call by the name John.
Дар ынӂерул й-а зис: „Ну те теме, Захарио; фииндкэ ругэчуня та а фост аскултатэ. Невастэ-та, Елисабета, ыць ва наште ун фиу, кэруя ый вей пуне нумеле Иоан.
14 He will be to you a joy and a delight; and many will rejoice over his birth.
Ел ва фи пентру тине о причинэ де букурие ши веселие, ши мулць се вор букура де наштеря луй.
15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; he will not drink any wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit from the very hour of his birth,
Кэч ва фи маре ынаинтя Домнулуй. Ну ва бя нич вин, нич бэутурэ амецитоаре, ши се ва умпле де Духул Сфынт ынкэ дин пынтечеле майчий сале.
16 and will reconcile many of the Israelites to the Lord their God.
Ел ва ынтоарче пе мулць дин фиий луй Исраел ла Домнул Думнезеул лор.
17 He will go before him in the spirit and with the power of Elijah, to reconcile fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, and so make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.”
Ва мерӂе ынаинтя луй Думнезеу, ын духул ши путеря луй Илие, ка сэ ынтоаркэ инимиле пэринцилор ла копий ши пе чей неаскултэторь, ла умбларя ын ынцелепчуня челор неприхэниць, ка сэ гэтяскэ Домнулуй ун нород бине прегэтит пентру Ел.”
18 “How can I be sure of this?” Zechariah asked the angel. “For I am an old man and my wife is advanced in years.”
Захария а зис ынӂерулуй: „Дин че вой куноаште лукрул ачеста? Фииндкэ еу сунт бэтрын, ши невастэ-мя есте ынаинтатэ ын вырстэ.”
19 “I am Gabriel,” the angel answered, “who stands in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.
Дрепт рэспунс, ынӂерул й-а зис: „Еу сунт Гаврил, каре стау ынаинтя луй Думнезеу; ам фост тримис сэ-ць ворбеск, ши сэ-ць адук ачастэ весте бунэ.
20 And now you will be silent and unable to speak until the day when this takes place, because you did not believe what I said, though my words will be fulfilled in due course.”
Ятэ кэ вей фи мут ши ну вей путя ворби, пынэ ын зиуа кынд се вор ынтымпла ачесте лукрурь, пентру кэ н-ай крезут кувинтеле меле, каре се вор ымплини ла время лор.”
21 Meanwhile the people were watching for Zechariah, wondering at his remaining so long in the Temple.
Нородул ынсэ аштепта пе Захария ши се мира де зэбовиря луй ын Темплу.
22 When he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they perceived that he had seen a vision there. But Zechariah kept making signs to them, and remained dumb.
Кынд а ешит афарэ, ну путя сэ ле ворбяскэ; ши ау ынцелес кэ авусесе о ведение ын Темплу. Ел ле фэчя семне ынтруна ши а рэмас мут.
23 And, as soon as his term of service was finished, he returned home.
Дупэ че и с-ау ымплинит зилеле де службэ, Захария с-а дус акасэ.
24 After this his wife, Elizabeth, became pregnant and lived in seclusion for five months.
Песте кытва тимп, Елисабета, неваста луй, а рэмас ынсэрчинатэ ши с-а цинут аскунсэ де тот чинч лунь. „Кэч”, зичя еа,
25 “The Lord has done this for me,” she said, “he has shown me kindness and taken away the public disgrace of childlessness under which I have been living.”
„ятэ че мь-а фэкут Домнул, кынд Шь-а арункат окий спре мине, ка сэ-мь я окара динтре оамень.”
26 Six months later the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,
Ын луна а шася, ынӂерул Гаврил а фост тримис де Думнезеу ынтр-о четате дин Галилея, нумитэ Назарет,
27 to a maiden there who was engaged to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. Her name was Mary.
ла о фечоарэ логодитэ ку ун бэрбат, нумит Иосиф, дин каса луй Давид. Нумеле фечоарей ера Мария.
28 Gabriel came into her presence and greeted her, saying, “You have been shown great favor – the Lord is with you.”
Ынӂерул а интрат ла еа ши а зис: „Плекэчуне цие, кэрея ци с-а фэкут маре хар; Домнул есте ку тине, бинекувынтатэ ешть ту ынтре фемей!”
29 Mary was much disturbed at his words, and was wondering to herself what such a greeting could mean,
Тулбуратэ фоарте мулт де кувинтеле ачестя, Мария се ынтреба сингурэ че путя сэ ынсемне ураря ачаста.
30 when the angel spoke again, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Ынӂерул й-а зис: „Ну те теме, Марие; кэч ай кэпэтат ындураре ынаинтя луй Думнезеу.
31 And now, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will give him the name Jesus.
Ши ятэ кэ вей рэмыне ынсэрчинатэ ши вей наште ун Фиу, кэруя Ый вей пуне нумеле Исус.
32 The child will be great and will be called ‘Son of the Most High,’ and the Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David,
Ел ва фи маре ши ва фи кемат Фиул Челуй Пряыналт; ши Домнул Думнезеу Ый ва да скаунул де домние ал татэлуй Сэу Давид.
33 and he will reign over the descendants of Jacob for ever; And to his kingdom there will be no end.” (aiōn g165)
Ва ымпэрэци песте каса луй Иаков ын вечь, ши Ымпэрэция Луй ну ва авя сфыршит.” (aiōn g165)
34 “How can this be?” Mary asked the angel. “For I have no husband.”
Мария а зис ынӂерулуй: „Кум се ва фаче лукрул ачеста, фииндкэ еу ну штиу де бэрбат?”
35 “The Holy Spirit will descend on you,” answered the angel, “and the Power of the Most High will overshadow you; and therefore the child will be called ‘holy,’ and ‘Son of God.’
Ынӂерул й-а рэспунс: „Духул Сфынт Се ва коборы песте тине, ши путеря Челуй Пряыналт те ва умбри. Де ачея, Сфынтул каре Се ва наште дин тине ва фи кемат Фиул луй Думнезеу.
36 And Elizabeth, your cousin, is herself also expecting a son in her old age; and it is now the sixth month with her, though she is called barren;
Ятэ кэ Елисабета, рудения та, а зэмислит ши еа ун фиу ла бэтрынеце; ши еа, кэрея и се зичя стярпэ, есте акум ын а шася лунэ.
37 for no promise from God will fail to be fulfilled.”
Кэч ничун кувынт де ла Думнезеу ну есте липсит де путере.”
38 “I am the servant of the Lord,” exclaimed Mary. “Let it be with me as you have said.” Then the angel left her.
Мария а зис: „Ятэ, роаба Домнулуй; факэ-ми-се дупэ кувинтеле тале!” Ши ынӂерул а плекат де ла еа.
39 Soon after this Mary set out, and made her way quickly into the hill-country, to a town in Judah;
Мария с-а скулат кяр ын зилеле ачеля ши а плекат ын грабэ спре мунць, ынтр-о четате а луй Иуда.
40 and there she went into Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth.
А интрат ын каса луй Захария ши а урат де бине Елисабетей.
41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child moved within her, and Elizabeth herself was filled with the Holy Spirit,
Кум а аузит Елисабета ураря Марией, й-а сэлтат прункул ын пынтече, ши Елисабета с-а умплут де Духул Сфынт.
42 and cried aloud, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is your unborn child!
Еа а стригат ку глас таре: „Бинекувынтатэ ешть ту ынтре фемей ши бинекувынтат есте родул пынтечелуй тэу.
43 But how have I this honor, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
Кум мь-а фост дат мие сэ винэ ла мине майка Домнулуй меу?
44 For, as soon as your greeting reached my ears, the child moved within me with delight!
Фииндкэ ятэ, кум мь-а ажунс ла урекь гласул урэрий тале, мь-а сэлтат прункул ын пынтече де букурие.
45 Happy indeed is she who believed that the promise which she received from the Lord would be fulfilled.”
Фериче де ачея каре а крезут; пентру кэ лукруриле каре й-ау фост спусе дин партя Домнулуй се вор ымплини.”
46 And Mary said: “My soul exalts the Lord,
Ши Мария а зис: „Суфлетул меу мэреште пе Домнул
47 and my spirit delights in God my Savior,
ши ми се букурэ духул ын Думнезеу, Мынтуиторул меу,
48 for he has looked with favor on his humble servant girl. From now on all generations will call me blessed!
пентру кэ а привит спре старя смеритэ а роабей Сале. Кэч ятэ кэ, де акум ынколо, тоате нямуриле ымь вор зиче феричитэ,
49 “For the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
пентру кэ Чел Атотпутерник а фэкут лукрурь марь пентру мине. Нумеле Луй есте сфынт,
50 He has mercy on those who revere him in every generation.
ши ындураря Луй се ынтинде дин ням ын ням песте чей че се тем де Ел.
51 “Mighty are the deeds of his arm! He has scattered the self-satisfied proud,
Ел а арэтат путере ку брацул Луй; а рисипит гындуриле пе каре ле авяу чей мындри ын инима лор.
52 he has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and he uplifts the humble,
А рэстурнат пе чей путерничь де пе скаунеле лор де домние ши а ынэлцат пе чей смериць.
53 he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.
Пе чей флэмынзь й-а сэтурат де бунэтэць, ши пе чей богаць й-а скос афарэ ку мыниле гоале.
54 “He has stretched out his hand to his servant Israel, ever mindful of his mercy,
А венит ын ажуторул робулуй Сэу Исраел, кэч Шь-а адус аминте де ындураря Са –
кум фэгэдуисе пэринцилор ноштри – фацэ де Авраам ши сэмынца луй ын вяк.” (aiōn g165)
56 Mary stayed with Elizabeth about three months, and then returned to her home.
Мария а рэмас ымпреунэ ку Елисабета кам трей лунь. Апой с-а ынторс акасэ.
57 When Elizabeth’s time came, she gave birth to a son;
Елисабетей и с-а ымплинит время сэ наскэ; ши а нэскут ун фиу.
58 and her neighbors and relatives, hearing of the great goodness of the Lord to her, came to share her joy.
Вечиний ши руделе ей ау аузит кэ Домнул а арэтат маре ындураре фацэ де еа ши се букурау ымпреунэ ку еа.
59 A week later they met to circumcise the child, and were about to call him Zechariah after his father,
Ын зиуа а опта, ау венит сэ тае прункул ымпрежур ши вояу сэ-й пунэ нумеле Захария, дупэ нумеле татэлуй сэу.
60 when his mother spoke up, “No, he is to be called John.”
Дар мама луй а луат кувынтул ши а зис: „Ну. Чи аре сэ се кеме Иоан.”
61 “You have no relation of that name!” they exclaimed;
Ей й-ау зис: „Нимень дин руденииле тале ну поартэ нумеле ачеста.”
62 and they made signs to the child’s father, to find out what he wished the child to be called.
Ши ау ынчепут сэ факэ семне татэлуй сэу, ка сэ штие кум ар вря сэ-й пунэ нумеле.
63 Asking for a writing tablet, he wrote the words – ‘His name is John.’ Everyone was surprised
Захария а черут о тэблицэ де скрис ши а скрис, зикынд: „Нумеле луй есте Иоан.” Ши тоць с-ау минунат.
64 and immediately Zechariah recovered his voice and the use of his tongue, and began to bless God.
Ын клипа ачея, и с-а дескис гура, и с-а дезлегат лимба, ши ел ворбя ши бинекувынта пе Думнезеу.
65 All their neighbors were awe-struck at this, and throughout the hill-country of Judea the whole story was much talked about.
Пе тоць вечиний й-а апукат фрика, ши ын тот цинутул ачела мунтос ал Иудеий се ворбя деспре тоате ачесте лукрурь.
66 All who heard it kept it in mind, asking one another – “What can this child be destined to become?” For the Power of the Lord was with him.
Тоць чей че ле аузяу ле пэстрау ын инима лор ши зичяу: „Оаре че ва фи прункул ачеста?” Ши мына Домнулуй ера ынтр-адевэр ку ел.
67 Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit, and, speaking under inspiration, said:
Захария, татэл луй, с-а умплут де Духул Сфынт, а пророчит ши а зис:
68 “Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, who has visited his people and wrought their deliverance,
„Бинекувынтат есте Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел, пентру кэ а черчетат ши а рэскумпэрат пе попорул Сэу.
69 and has raised up for us the strength of our salvation in the house of his servant David –
Ши не-а ридикат о мынтуире путерникэ ын каса робулуй Сэу Давид,
кум вестисе прин гура сфинцилор Сэй пророчь, каре ау фост дин векиме; (aiōn g165)
71 salvation from our enemies and from the hands of all who hate us,
мынтуире де врэжмаший ноштри ши дин мына тутурор челор че не урэск!
72 showing mercy to our ancestors, and mindful of his sacred covenant.
Астфел Ышь аратэ Ел ындураря фацэ де пэринций ноштри ши Ышь адуче аминте де легэмынтул Луй чел сфынт,
73 This was the oath which he swore to our ancestor Abraham –
потривит журэмынтулуй прин каре Се журасе пэринтелуй ностру Авраам,
74 that we should be rescued from the hands of our enemies,
кэ, дупэ че не ва избэви дин мына врэжмашилор ноштри, не ва ынгэдуи сэ-Й служим фэрэ фрикэ,
75 and should serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness, in his presence all our days.
трэинд ынаинтя Луй ын сфинцение ши неприхэнире, ын тоате зилеле веций ноастре.
76 And you, child, will be called prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to make ready his way,
Ши ту, прункуле, вей фи кемат пророк ал Челуй Пряыналт. Кэч вей мерӂе ынаинтя Домнулуй, ка сэ прегэтешть кэиле Луй
77 to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins,
ши сэ дай попорулуй Сэу куноштинца мынтуирий, каре стэ ын ертаря пэкателор луй;
78 through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the dawn will break on us from heaven,
даторитэ марий ындурэрь а Думнезеулуй ностру, ын урма кэрея не-а черчетат Соареле каре рэсаре дин ынэлциме,
79 to give light to those who live in darkness and the shadow of death, and guide our feet into the way of peace.”
ка сэ луминезе пе чей че зак ын ынтунерикул ши ын умбра морций ши сэ не ындрепте пичоареле пе каля пэчий!”
80 The child grew and became strong in spirit, and he lived in the wilds until the time came for his appearance before Israel.
Яр прункул крештя ши се ынтэря ын дух. Ши а стат ын локурь пустий пынэ ын зиуа арэтэрий луй ынаинтя луй Исраел.
