< Psalms 102 >
1 Sh'ma ·Hear obey· my prayer, Adonai! Let my cry come to you.
Wee Jehova, igua ihooya rĩakwa; reke gũkaya gwakwa ngĩhooya ũteithio gũgũkinyĩre.
2 Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
Tiga kũũhitha ũthiũ waku rĩrĩa ndĩ mĩnyamaro-inĩ. Inamĩrĩria gũtũ gwaku ũnjigue; ndagũkaĩra, njĩtĩka o narua.
3 For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch.
Nĩgũkorwo matukũ makwa marathira o ta ũrĩa ndogo ĩthiraga; namo mahĩndĩ makwa maraakana o ta gĩcinga.
4 My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
Ngoro yakwa ĩringĩkĩte na ĩkahooha o ta nyeki; ndiganĩirwo o na nĩ kũrĩa irio.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
Tondũ wa ũrĩa ndĩracaaya nyanĩrĩire, hĩnjĩte ngatigara o gĩkonde na mahĩndĩ.
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
Haana ta ndundu ya werũ-inĩ, ngahaana ta ndundu ĩrĩa ĩikaraga kũrĩa kwanangĩku.
7 I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
Ndaaraga itarĩ toro; haanĩte ta nyoni ĩrĩ o iiki nyũmba igũrũ.
8 My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
Mũthenya wothe thũ ciakwa itindaga igĩĩthirĩkia; acio maanyũrũragia mahũthagĩra rĩĩtwa rĩakwa taarĩ kĩrumi.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,
Nĩgũkorwo ndĩĩaga mũhu taarĩ irio ciakwa, na kĩrĩa nyuuaga ngagĩtukania na maithori,
10 Because of your indignation and your wrath, for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.
tondũ wa mangʼũrĩ maku manene, ũnjoete na igũrũ ũkanjikia mwena-inĩ.
11 My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.
Matukũ makwa mahaana o ta kĩĩruru kĩa hwaĩ-inĩ; hoohaga ta nyeki.
12 But you, Adonai, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.
No rĩrĩ, Wee Jehova ũgũtũũra ũikarĩire gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene nginya tene na tene; ngumo yaku ĩgũtũũra njiarwa na njiarwa.
13 You will arise and have racham ·merciful love· on Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]; for it is time to have mercy on her. Yes, the set time has come.
Wee nĩũkwarahũka ũiguĩre itũũra rĩa Zayuni tha, nĩgũkorwo ihinda rĩa kũrĩĩka wega nĩ ikinyu; ihinda rĩrĩa rĩathĩrĩre nĩ ikinyu.
14 For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity even on her dust.
Nĩgũkorwo mahiga makuo nĩmakenagĩrwo nĩ ndungata ciaku; o na rũkũngũ rwakuo nĩrũtũmaga iringwo nĩ tha.
15 So the nations will fear Adonai’s name; all the kings of the earth your kavod ·weighty glory·.
Ndũrĩrĩ nĩigeetigĩra rĩĩtwa rĩa Jehova, athamaki othe a thĩ mekĩrĩre riiri waku.
16 For Adonai has built up Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]. He has appeared in his kavod ·weighty glory·.
Nĩgũkorwo Jehova nĩagaaka itũũra rĩa Zayuni rĩngĩ, na eyumĩrie arĩ na riiri wake.
17 He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
Nĩakaigua mahooya ma andũ arĩa aagi; ndakanyarara mahooya mao.
18 This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will Halleluyah ·praise Yah·.
Ũhoro ũyũ nĩwandĩkwo nĩ ũndũ wa rũciaro rũrĩa rũgooka, nĩguo andũ arĩa mataciarĩtwo makaagooca Jehova:
19 For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, Adonai saw the earth;
“Jehova nĩacũthĩrĩirie thĩ arĩ harĩa hake haamũre kũu igũrũ; arĩ kũu igũrũ Jehova nĩkũrora aarorire thĩ,
20 to sh'ma ·hear obey· the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death;
nĩguo aigue gũcaaya kwa arĩa moheetwo, na ohorithie arĩa maatuĩrĩirwo gũkua.”
21 that men may declare Adonai’s name in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], and his tehilah ·praise song· in Jerusalem [City of peace];
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio rĩĩtwa rĩa Jehova nĩrĩkoimbũrwo kũu Zayuni, na nĩakagoocwo kũu Jerusalemu
22 when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve Adonai.
rĩrĩa andũ a ndũrĩrĩ na mothamaki makoongana, mathathaiye Jehova.
23 He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.
Hĩndĩ ya mũtũũrĩre wakwa nĩanyiihirie hinya wakwa; nĩakuhĩhirie matukũ makwa.
24 I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the middle of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngĩkiuga atĩrĩ: “Wee Ngai wakwa, ndũkanjũrage o rĩrĩa ndaiganĩria matukũ makwa; wee-rĩ, mĩaka yaku ĩthiiaga o na mbere nginya njiarwa na njiarwa.
25 Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.
O kĩambĩrĩria-inĩ, nĩwaarire mĩthingi ya thĩ, o narĩo igũrũ nĩ wĩra wa moko maku.
26 They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will pass away.
Icio nĩgũthira igaathira, no wee nĩgũtũũra ũgaatũũra; igaakũra o ta nguo, ithire. Ũgaacigarũrĩra ta nguo, icooke iteeo.
27 But you remain the same, your years will have no end.
No Wee ndũgarũrũkaga, nayo mĩaka yaku ndĩrĩ mũthia.
28 The children of your servants will continue. Their offspring will be established before you.”
Ciana cia ndungata ciaku igaatũũra na thayũ mbere yaku; nacio njiaro ciacio cigaikara irũmĩte irĩ mbere yaku.”
