< Romans 6 >

1 What shall we say then? Let us continue in sin, that grace may abound still more?
Te koinih balae n'thui uh eh? Lungvatnah a pungtai sak ham tholhnah khuiah om uh sih a?
2 God forbid! How shall we, who died to sin, live any longer in it?
3 Are ye ignorant, that all of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death?
Khrih Jesuh ah aka nuem rhoek boeih tah a dueknah dongah n'nuem uh te na mangvawt uh a?
4 We then by this baptism into his death were buried with him; that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Te tlamte pa kah thangpomnah loh duek lamkah Khrih a thoh vanbangla mamih van khaw hingnah a thai ah pongpa ham a dueknah khuiah baptisma loh boeipa neh m'vuei coeng.
5 For if we have been made completely like him in his death, we shall be made like him in his resurrection also;
A dueknah mueisa la n'om tun atah a thohkoepnah dongah khaw n'om uh van.
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we might no longer be in slavery to sin;
He he ming uh saw. Mamih kah hlang rhuem tah a tai coeng te ta. Te daengah ni tholhnah pum he a thup vetih mamih loh tholhnah kah sal m'bi pawt eh.
7 for he that hath died hath been set free from sin.
Aka duek tangtae tah tholh lamkah n'tang uh coeng.
8 And if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him;
Tedae Khrih neh n'duek uh atah amah neh n'hing uh van ni tila n'tangnah uh.
9 since we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dieth no more; death hath dominion over him no longer.
Duek lamkah aka thoo Khrih tah duek voel pawt vetih dueknah loh anih te tulnoi pawh tila m'ming uh.
10 For in that he died, he died to sin once for all; but in that he liveth, he liveth to God.
A duek te tholh ham duek bangtlang tih a hing he Pathen ham ni a hing.
11 Thus do ye too consider yourselves as dead to sin, but alive to God, through Jesus Christ.
Te dongah nangmih khaw tholh ham tah aka duek la, tedae Pathen ham tah Khrih Jesuh ah aka hing la om ham namamih neh namamih te poek uh.
12 Let not then sin reign in your mortal body, bringing you into subjection to its lusts,
Te dongah te kah hoehhamnah te ngai ham aka nguelpawh nangmih kah pum ah tholhnah te khulae sak boeh.
13 nor yield up your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but yield up yourselves to God, as being alive from the dead, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.
Nangmih kah pumrho te tholhnah ham boethae kah pumcumnah la pae boeh tedae duek lamkah aka hing bangla Pathen ham duengnah kah pumcumnah la nangmih kah pumrho te Pathen taengah namah neh namah pae uh.
14 For sin shall not hold dominion over you; for ye are not under the Law, but under grace.
Olkhueng hmuiah pawt tih lungvatnah hmuiah na om uh coeng dongah tholh loh nangmih n'tulnoi mahpawh.
15 What then? Are we to sin, because we are not under the Law, but under grace? God forbid!
Balae aka om bal? Olkhueng hmuiah pawt tih lungvatnah hmuiah n'om uh dongah tholh uh mai sih a? Te tlam te Om mahpawh.
16 Know ye not, that whomever ye choose to obey as a master, his bondmen ye are, whether of sin whose fruit is death, or of obedience whose fruit is righteousness?
17 But thanks be to God that, though ye were the bondmen of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching which was delivered to you;
18 and being made free from sin, ye became the bondmen of righteousness.
19 I speak in a way common among men on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as ye once yielded your members as slaves to impurity and to iniquity, in order to commit iniquity, so now yield your members as bondmen to righteousness in order to become holy.
Nangmih pumsa kah vawtthoeknah dongah hlanghing bangla ka thui.
20 For when ye were the slaves of sin, ye were not the bondmen of righteousness.
21 What fruit then had ye at that time from those things of which ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Te dongah tahae kah rhaidaeng lamkah loh balae thaihtak na dang uh bal pueng? Te rhoek te tah dueknah nen ni a bawt.
22 But now having been delivered from the slavery of sin, and having become the bondservants of God, ye have holiness as the fruit, and everlasting life as the end.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is everlasting life, through Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Tholhnah phu tah dueknah dae Pathen kah kutdoe tah mamih Boeipa Khrih Jesuh ah dungyan hingnah ni. (aiōnios g166)
