Mark 4
1 And again he began to teach by the shore of the lake; and there was gathered to him a very great multitude, so that he went into a boat, and sat down in it upon the lake; and all the multitude was by the lake on the land.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ସ ସମୁଦ୍ରତଟେ ପୁନରୁପଦେଷ୍ଟୁଂ ପ୍ରାରେଭେ, ତତସ୍ତତ୍ର ବହୁଜନାନାଂ ସମାଗମାତ୍ ସ ସାଗରୋପରି ନୌକାମାରୁହ୍ୟ ସମୁପୱିଷ୍ଟଃ; ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଲୋକାଃ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୂଲେ ତସ୍ଥୁଃ|
2 And he taught them many things in parables, and said to them in his teaching,
ତଦା ସ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତକଥାଭି ର୍ବହୂପଦିଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ ଉପଦିଶଂଶ୍ଚ କଥିତୱାନ୍,
3 Hearken: Behold, a sower went forth to sow.
ଅୱଧାନଂ କୁରୁତ, ଏକୋ ବୀଜୱପ୍ତା ବୀଜାନି ୱପ୍ତୁଂ ଗତଃ;
4 And it came to pass, as he sowed some seeds fell by the way-side; and the birds came and devoured them.
ୱପନକାଲେ କିଯନ୍ତି ବୀଜାନି ମାର୍ଗପାଶ୍ୱେ ପତିତାନି, ତତ ଆକାଶୀଯପକ୍ଷିଣ ଏତ୍ୟ ତାନି ଚଖାଦୁଃ|
5 And others fell on rocky ground, where they had not much earth; and they sprung up immediately, because they had no depth of earth.
କିଯନ୍ତି ବୀଜାନି ସ୍ୱଲ୍ପମୃତ୍ତିକାୱତ୍ପାଷାଣଭୂମୌ ପତିତାନି ତାନି ମୃଦୋଲ୍ପତ୍ୱାତ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ରମଙ୍କୁରିତାନି;
6 But when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
କିନ୍ତୂଦିତେ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ୟେ ଦଗ୍ଧାନି ତଥା ମୂଲାନୋ ନାଧୋଗତତ୍ୱାତ୍ ଶୁଷ୍କାଣି ଚ|
7 And others fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up, and choked them, and they yielded no fruit.
କିଯନ୍ତି ବୀଜାନି କଣ୍ଟକିୱନମଧ୍ୟେ ପତିତାନି ତତଃ କଣ୍ଟକାନି ସଂୱୃଦ୍ୱ୍ୟ ତାନି ଜଗ୍ରସୁସ୍ତାନି ନ ଚ ଫଲିତାନି|
8 And others fell on good ground, and shooting up and growing yielded fruit; and bore as much as thirty, and sixty, and a hundred fold.
ତଥା କିଯନ୍ତି ବୀଜାନ୍ୟୁତ୍ତମଭୂମୌ ପତିତାନି ତାନି ସଂୱୃଦ୍ୱ୍ୟ ଫଲାନ୍ୟୁତ୍ପାଦିତାନି କିଯନ୍ତି ବୀଜାନି ତ୍ରିଂଶଦ୍ଗୁଣାନି କିଯନ୍ତି ଷଷ୍ଟିଗୁଣାନି କିଯନ୍ତି ଶତଗୁଣାନି ଫଲାନି ଫଲିତୱନ୍ତି|
9 And he said, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
ଅଥ ସ ତାନୱଦତ୍ ଯସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୋତୁଂ କର୍ଣୌ ସ୍ତଃ ସ ଶୃଣୋତୁ|
10 And when he was in private, they who were about him, with the twelve, asked him about the parables.
ତଦନନ୍ତରଂ ନିର୍ଜନସମଯେ ତତ୍ସଙ୍ଗିନୋ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶଶିଷ୍ୟାଶ୍ଚ ତଂ ତଦ୍ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତୱାକ୍ୟସ୍ୟାର୍ଥଂ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛୁଃ|
11 And he said to them, To you hath been given the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to them, who are without, all things are done in parables; t
ତଦା ସ ତାନୁଦିତୱାନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ୟ ନିଗୂଢୱାକ୍ୟଂ ବୋଦ୍ଧୁଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମଧିକାରୋଽସ୍ତି;
12 hat seeing they may see, and not perceive, and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest they should turn, and be forgiven.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେ ୱହିର୍ଭୂତାଃ "ତେ ପଶ୍ୟନ୍ତଃ ପଶ୍ୟନ୍ତି କିନ୍ତୁ ନ ଜାନନ୍ତି, ଶୃଣ୍ୱନ୍ତଃ ଶୃଣ୍ୱନ୍ତି କିନ୍ତୁ ନ ବୁଧ୍ୟନ୍ତେ, ଚେତ୍ତୈ ର୍ମନଃସୁ କଦାପି ପରିୱର୍ତ୍ତିତେଷୁ ତେଷାଂ ପାପାନ୍ୟମୋଚଯିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତ," ଅତୋହେତୋସ୍ତାନ୍ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତୈରେୱ ତାନି ମଯା କଥିତାନି|
13 And he saith to them, Know ye not this parable? and how will ye know all the parables?
ଅଥ ସ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ଯୂଯଂ କିମେତଦ୍ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତୱାକ୍ୟଂ ନ ବୁଧ୍ୟଧ୍ୱେ? ତର୍ହି କଥଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତାନ ଭୋତ୍ସ୍ୟଧ୍ୱେ?
14 The sower soweth the word.
ବୀଜୱପ୍ତା ୱାକ୍ୟରୂପାଣି ବୀଜାନି ୱପତି;
15 And these are they by the wayside, those where the word is sown, and when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in them.
ତତ୍ର ଯେ ଯେ ଲୋକା ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଶୃଣ୍ୱନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଶ୍ରୁତମାତ୍ରାତ୍ ଶୈତାନ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ରମାଗତ୍ୟ ତେଷାଂ ମନଃସୂପ୍ତାନି ତାନି ୱାକ୍ୟରୂପାଣି ବୀଜାନ୍ୟପନଯତି ତଏୱ ଉପ୍ତବୀଜମାର୍ଗପାର୍ଶ୍ୱେସ୍ୱରୂପାଃ|
16 And these in like manner are they that are sown on the rocky places, those, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy,
ଯେ ଜନା ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ସହସା ପରମାନନ୍ଦେନ ଗୃହ୍ଲନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ହୃଦି ସ୍ଥୈର୍ୟ୍ୟାଭାୱାତ୍ କିଞ୍ଚିତ୍ କାଲମାତ୍ରଂ ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତି ତତ୍ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ତଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟହେତୋଃ
17 and have no root in themselves, but endure only for a time; then, when affliction or persecution ariseth on account of the word, they immediately fall away.
କୁତ୍ରଚିତ୍ କ୍ଲେଶେ ଉପଦ୍ରୱେ ୱା ସମୁପସ୍ଥିତେ ତଦୈୱ ୱିଘ୍ନଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ନୁୱନ୍ତି ତଏୱ ଉପ୍ତବୀଜପାଷାଣଭୂମିସ୍ୱରୂପାଃ|
18 And others are they that are sown among the thorns; these are they who hear the word,
ଯେ ଜନାଃ କଥାଂ ଶୃଣ୍ୱନ୍ତି କିନ୍ତୁ ସାଂସାରିକୀ ଚିନ୍ତା ଧନଭ୍ରାନ୍ତି ର୍ୱିଷଯଲୋଭଶ୍ଚ ଏତେ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଉପସ୍ଥାଯ ତାଂ କଥାଂ ଗ୍ରସନ୍ତି ତତଃ ମା ୱିଫଲା ଭୱତି (aiōn g165)
19 but the cares of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
ତଏୱ ଉପ୍ତବୀଜସକଣ୍ଟକଭୂମିସ୍ୱରୂପାଃ|
20 And these are they who are sown on the good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it; and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundred fold.
ଯେ ଜନା ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ଗୃହ୍ଲନ୍ତି ତେଷାଂ କସ୍ୟ ୱା ତ୍ରିଂଶଦ୍ଗୁଣାନି କସ୍ୟ ୱା ଷଷ୍ଟିଗୁଣାନି କସ୍ୟ ୱା ଶତଗୁଣାନି ଫଲାନି ଭୱନ୍ତି ତଏୱ ଉପ୍ତବୀଜୋର୍ୱ୍ୱରଭୂମିସ୍ୱରୂପାଃ|
21 And he said to them, Is a lamp brought to be put under the bushel, or under the bed, and not to be set on the lamp-stand?
ତଦା ସୋଽପରମପି କଥିତୱାନ୍ କୋପି ଜନୋ ଦୀପାଧାରଂ ପରିତ୍ୟଜ୍ୟ ଦ୍ରୋଣସ୍ୟାଧଃ ଖଟ୍ୱାଯା ଅଧେ ୱା ସ୍ଥାପଯିତୁଂ ଦୀପମାନଯତି କିଂ?
22 For there is nothing secret, unless to be made known; nor was any thing hidden, but that it should come to light.
ଅତୋହେତୋ ର୍ୟନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାଶଯିଷ୍ୟତେ ତାଦୃଗ୍ ଲୁକ୍କାଯିତଂ କିମପି ୱସ୍ତୁ ନାସ୍ତି; ଯଦ୍ ୱ୍ୟକ୍ତଂ ନ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି ତାଦୃଶଂ ଗୁପ୍ତଂ କିମପି ୱସ୍ତୁ ନାସ୍ତି|
23 If any one hath ears to hear, let him hear.
ଯସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୋତୁଂ କର୍ଣୌ ସ୍ତଃ ସ ଶୃଣୋତୁ|
24 And he said to them, Take heed what ye hear. With what measure ye mete, it will be measured to you, and more will be added to you.
ଅପରମପି କଥିତୱାନ୍ ଯୂଯଂ ଯଦ୍ ଯଦ୍ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଶୃଣୁଥ ତତ୍ର ସାୱଧାନା ଭୱତ, ଯତୋ ଯୂଯଂ ଯେନ ପରିମାଣେନ ପରିମାଥ ତେନୈୱ ପରିମାଣେନ ଯୁଷ୍ମଦର୍ଥମପି ପରିମାସ୍ୟତେ; ଶ୍ରୋତାରୋ ଯୂଯଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମଭ୍ୟମଧିକଂ ଦାସ୍ୟତେ|
25 For he that hath, to him will be given; and he that hath not, from him will be taken away even what he hath.
ଯସ୍ୟାଶ୍ରଯେ ୱର୍ଦ୍ଧତେ ତସ୍ମୈ ଅପରମପି ଦାସ୍ୟତେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯସ୍ୟାଶ୍ରଯେ ନ ୱର୍ଦ୍ଧତେ ତସ୍ୟ ଯତ୍ କିଞ୍ଚିଦସ୍ତି ତଦପି ତସ୍ମାନ୍ ନେଷ୍ୟତେ|
26 And he said, Thus is the kingdom of God, as when a man has cast seed upon the ground,
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ସ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ଏକୋ ଲୋକଃ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରେ ବୀଜାନ୍ୟୁପ୍ତ୍ୱା
27 and sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed springs and grows up, he knows not how.
ଜାଗରଣନିଦ୍ରାଭ୍ୟାଂ ଦିୱାନିଶଂ ଗମଯତି, ପରନ୍ତୁ ତଦ୍ୱୀଜଂ ତସ୍ୟାଜ୍ଞାତରୂପେଣାଙ୍କୁରଯତି ୱର୍ଦ୍ଧତେ ଚ;
28 For the earth brings forth fruit of itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
ଯତୋହେତୋଃ ପ୍ରଥମତଃ ପତ୍ରାଣି ତତଃ ପରଂ କଣିଶାନି ତତ୍ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ କଣିଶପୂର୍ଣାନି ଶସ୍ୟାନି ଭୂମିଃ ସ୍ୱଯମୁତ୍ପାଦଯତି;
29 But when the fruit puts itself forth, immediately he sends out the sickle, because the harvest is come.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଫଲେଷୁ ପକ୍କେଷୁ ଶସ୍ୟଚ୍ଛେଦନକାଲଂ ଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱା ସ ତତ୍କ୍ଷଣଂ ଶସ୍ୟାନି ଛିନତ୍ତି, ଅନେନ ତୁଲ୍ୟମୀଶ୍ୱରରାଜ୍ୟଂ|
30 And he said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? or under what comparison shall we set it forth?
ପୁନଃ ସୋଽକଥଯଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରରାଜ୍ୟଂ କେନ ସମଂ? କେନ ୱସ୍ତୁନା ସହ ୱା ତଦୁପମାସ୍ୟାମି?
31 It is like a grain of mustard, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that are in the earth;
ତତ୍ ସର୍ଷପୈକେନ ତୁଲ୍ୟଂ ଯତୋ ମୃଦି ୱପନକାଲେ ସର୍ଷପବୀଜଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱପୃଥିୱୀସ୍ଥବୀଜାତ୍ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରଂ
32 and when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts forth great branches, so that the birds of the air can lodge under its shade.
କିନ୍ତୁ ୱପନାତ୍ ପରମ୍ ଅଙ୍କୁରଯିତ୍ୱା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଶାକାଦ୍ ବୃହଦ୍ ଭୱତି, ତସ୍ୟ ବୃହତ୍ୟଃ ଶାଖାଶ୍ଚ ଜାଯନ୍ତେ ତତସ୍ତଚ୍ଛାଯାଂ ପକ୍ଷିଣ ଆଶ୍ରଯନ୍ତେ|
33 And with many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ତେଷାଂ ବୋଧାନୁରୂପଂ ସୋଽନେକଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତୈସ୍ତାନୁପଦିଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍,
34 But without a parable he did not speak to them; but in private he explained all things to his own disciples.
ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତଂ ୱିନା କାମପି କଥାଂ ତେଭ୍ୟୋ ନ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ପଶ୍ଚାନ୍ ନିର୍ଜନେ ସ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନ୍ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତାର୍ଥଂ ବୋଧିତୱାନ୍|
35 And on the same day, when the evening was come, he saith to them, Let us pass over to the other side.
ତଦ୍ଦିନସ୍ୟ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାଯାଂ ସ ତେଭ୍ୟୋଽକଥଯଦ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛତ ୱଯଂ ପାରଂ ଯାମ|
36 And leaving the multitude, they take him with them, as he was, in the boat; and there were also other boats with him.
ତଦା ତେ ଲୋକାନ୍ ୱିସୃଜ୍ୟ ତମୱିଲମ୍ବଂ ଗୃହୀତ୍ୱା ନୌକଯା ପ୍ରତସ୍ଥିରେ; ଅପରା ଅପି ନାୱସ୍ତଯା ସହ ସ୍ଥିତାଃ|
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves heat into the boat, so that it was already filling.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ମହାଝଞ୍ଭ୍ଶଗମାତ୍ ନୌ ର୍ଦୋଲାଯମାନା ତରଙ୍ଗେଣ ଜଲୈଃ ପୂର୍ଣାଭୱଚ୍ଚ|
38 And he was in the stern, asleep on the pillow; and they awake him, and say to him, Teacher, carest thou not that we are perishing?
ତଦା ସ ନୌକାଚଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ଭାଗେ ଉପଧାନେ ଶିରୋ ନିଧାଯ ନିଦ୍ରିତ ଆସୀତ୍ ତତସ୍ତେ ତଂ ଜାଗରଯିତ୍ୱା ଜଗଦୁଃ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ପ୍ରାଣା ଯାନ୍ତି କିମତ୍ର ଭୱତଶ୍ଚିନ୍ତା ନାସ୍ତି?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the waves, Peace! be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
ତଦା ସ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ୱାଯୁଂ ତର୍ଜିତୱାନ୍ ସମୁଦ୍ରଞ୍ଚୋକ୍ତୱାନ୍ ଶାନ୍ତଃ ସୁସ୍ଥିରଶ୍ଚ ଭୱ; ତତୋ ୱାଯୌ ନିୱୃତ୍ତେଽବ୍ଧିର୍ନିସ୍ତରଙ୍ଗୋଭୂତ୍|
40 And he said to them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have not faith?
ତଦା ସ ତାନୁୱାଚ ଯୂଯଂ କୁତ ଏତାଦୃକ୍ଶଙ୍କାକୁଲା ଭୱତ? କିଂ ୱୋ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସୋ ନାସ୍ତି?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the waves obey him?
ତସ୍ମାତ୍ତେଽତୀୱଭୀତାଃ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ୱକ୍ତୁମାରେଭିରେ, ଅହୋ ୱାଯୁଃ ସିନ୍ଧୁଶ୍ଚାସ୍ୟ ନିଦେଶଗ୍ରାହିଣୌ କୀଦୃଗଯଂ ମନୁଜଃ|
