John 13
1 Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them unto the end.
ནིསྟཱརོཏྶཝསྱ ཀིཉྩིཏྐཱལཱཏ྄ པཱུཪྻྭཾ པྲྀཐིཝྱཱཿ པིཏུཿ སམཱིཔགམནསྱ སམཡཿ སནྣིཀརྵོབྷཱུད྄ ཨིཏི ཛྙཱཏྭཱ ཡཱིཤུརཱཔྲཐམཱད྄ ཡེཥུ ཛགཏྤྲཝཱསིཥྭཱཏྨཱིཡལོཀེཥ པྲེམ ཀརོཏི སྨ ཏེཥུ ཤེཥཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ པྲེམ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄།
2 And supper being served, —the Devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray him, —
པིཏཱ ཏསྱ ཧསྟེ སཪྻྭཾ སམརྤིཏཝཱན྄ སྭཡམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ སམཱིཔཱད྄ ཨཱགཙྪད྄ ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ སམཱིཔཾ ཡཱསྱཏི ཙ, སཪྻྭཱཎྱེཏཱནི ཛྙཱཏྭཱ རཛནྱཱཾ བྷོཛནེ སམྤཱུརྞེ སཏི,
3 he, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God,
ཡདཱ ཤཻཏཱན྄ ཏཾ པརཧསྟེཥུ སམརྤཡིཏུཾ ཤིམོནཿ པུཏྲསྱ ཨཱིཥྐཱརིཡོཏིཡསྱ ཡིཧཱུདཱ ཨནྟཿཀརཎེ ཀུཔྲཝྲྀཏྟིཾ སམཱརྤཡཏ྄,
4 riseth from the supper, and layeth aside his garments, and took a towel, and girded himself.
ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུ རྦྷོཛནཱསནཱད྄ ཨུཏྠཱཡ གཱཏྲཝསྟྲཾ མོཙཡིཏྭཱ གཱཏྲམཱརྫནཝསྟྲཾ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཏེན སྭཀཊིམ྄ ཨབདྷྣཱཏ྄,
5 Then he poureth water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
པཤྩཱད྄ ཨེཀཔཱཏྲེ ཛལམ྄ ཨབྷིཥིཙྱ ཤིཥྱཱཎཱཾ པཱདཱན྄ པྲཀྵཱལྱ ཏེན ཀཊིབདྡྷགཱཏྲམཱརྫནཝཱསསཱ མཱརྵྚུཾ པྲཱརབྷཏ།
6 So he cometh to Simon Peter; who saith to him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
ཏཏཿ ཤིམོནྤིཏརསྱ སམཱིཔམཱགཏེ ས ཨུཀྟཝཱན྄ ཧེ པྲབྷོ བྷཝཱན྄ ཀིཾ མམ པཱདཽ པྲཀྵཱལཡིཥྱཏི?
7 Jesus answered and said to him, What I do thou knowest not now, but thou wilt know hereafter.
ཡཱིཤུརུདིཏཝཱན྄ ཨཧཾ ཡཏ྄ ཀརོམི ཏཏ྄ སམྤྲཏི ན ཛཱནཱསི ཀིནྟུ པཤྩཱཛ྄ ཛྙཱསྱསི།
8 Peter saith to him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn g165)
ཏཏཿ པིཏརཿ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ བྷཝཱན྄ ཀདཱཔི མམ པཱདཽ ན པྲཀྵཱལཡིཥྱཏི། ཡཱིཤུརཀཐཡད྄ ཡདི ཏྭཱཾ ན པྲཀྵཱལཡེ ཏརྷི མཡི ཏཝ ཀོཔྱཾཤོ ནཱསྟི། (aiōn g165)
9 Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
ཏདཱ ཤིམོནྤིཏརཿ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ཧེ པྲབྷོ ཏརྷི ཀེཝལཔཱདཽ ན, མམ ཧསྟཽ ཤིརཤྩ པྲཀྵཱལཡཏུ།
10 Jesus saith to him, He that hath bathed needeth not to wash himself, but is wholly clean; and ye are clean, but not all.
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུརཝདད྄ ཡོ ཛནོ དྷཽཏསྟསྱ སཪྻྭཱངྒཔརིཥྐྲྀཏཏྭཱཏ྄ པཱདཽ ཝིནཱནྱཱངྒསྱ པྲཀྵཱལནཱཔེཀྵཱ ནཱསྟི། ཡཱུཡཾ པརིཥྐྲྀཏཱ ཨིཏི སཏྱཾ ཀིནྟུ ན སཪྻྭེ,
11 For he knew who was about to betray him; for this reason he said, Ye are not all clean.
ཡཏོ ཡོ ཛནསྟཾ པརཀརེཥུ སམརྤཡིཥྱཏི ཏཾ ས ཛྙཱཏཝཱན; ཨཏཨེཝ ཡཱུཡཾ སཪྻྭེ ན པརིཥྐྲྀཏཱ ཨིམཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄།
12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and placed himself again at the table, he said to them, Know ye what I have done to you?
ཨིཏྠཾ ཡཱིཤུསྟེཥཱཾ པཱདཱན྄ པྲཀྵཱལྱ ཝསྟྲཾ པརིདྷཱཡཱསནེ སམུཔཝིཤྱ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱན྄ པྲཏི ཀིཾ ཀརྨྨཱཀཱརྵཾ ཛཱནཱིཐ?
13 Ye call me the Teacher, and the Lord; and ye say well; for so I am.
ཡཱུཡཾ མཱཾ གུརུཾ པྲབྷུཉྩ ཝདཐ ཏཏ྄ སཏྱམེཝ ཝདཐ ཡཏོཧཾ སཨེཝ བྷཝཱམི།
14 If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
ཡདྱཧཾ པྲབྷུ རྒུརུཤྩ སན྄ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ པཱདཱན྄ པྲཀྵཱལིཏཝཱན྄ ཏརྷི ཡུཥྨཱཀམཔི པརསྤརཾ པཱདཔྲཀྵཱལནམ྄ ཨུཙིཏམ྄།
15 For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.
ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱན྄ པྲཏི ཡཐཱ ཝྱཝཱཧརཾ ཡུཥྨཱན྄ ཏཐཱ ཝྱཝཧརྟྟུམ྄ ཨེཀཾ པནྠཱནཾ དརྴིཏཝཱན྄།
16 Truly, truly do I say to you, A servant is not greater than his lord, nor one who is sent greater than he that sent him.
ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱནཏིཡཐཱརྠཾ ཝདཱམི, པྲབྷོ རྡཱསོ ན མཧཱན྄ པྲེརཀཱཙྩ པྲེརིཏོ ན མཧཱན྄།
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
ཨིམཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཝིདིཏྭཱ ཡདི ཏདནུསཱརཏཿ ཀརྨྨཱཎི ཀུརུཐ ཏརྷི ཡཱུཡཾ དྷནྱཱ བྷཝིཥྱཐ།
18 I speak not of you all; I know whom I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, “He that eateth bread with me, hath lifted up his heel against me.”
སཪྻྭེཥུ ཡུཥྨཱསུ ཀཐཱམིམཱཾ ཀཐཡཱམི ཨིཏི ན, ཡེ མམ མནོནཱིཏཱསྟཱནཧཾ ཛཱནཱམི, ཀིནྟུ མམ བྷཀྵྱཱཎི ཡོ བྷུངྐྟེ མཏྤྲཱཎཔྲཱཏིཀཱུལྱཏཿ། ཨུཏྠཱཔཡཏི པཱདསྱ མཱུལཾ ས ཨེཥ མཱནཝཿ། ཡདེཏད྄ དྷརྨྨཔུསྟཀསྱ ཝཙནཾ ཏདནུསཱརེཎཱཝཤྱཾ གྷཊིཥྱཏེ།
19 I tell you now before it hath come to pass, that when it hath come to pass ye may believe that I am He.
ཨཧཾ ས ཛན ཨིཏྱཏྲ ཡཐཱ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཝིཤྭཱསོ ཛཱཡཏེ ཏདརྠཾ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤགྷཊནཱཏ྄ པཱུཪྻྭམ྄ ཨཧམིདཱནཱིཾ ཡུཥྨབྷྱམཀཐཡམ྄།
20 Truly, truly do I say to you, He that receiveth whomever I send, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him who sent me.
ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱནཏཱིཝ ཡཐཱརྠཾ ཝདཱམི, མཡཱ པྲེརིཏཾ ཛནཾ ཡོ གྲྀཧླཱཏི ས མཱམེཝ གྲྀཧླཱཏི ཡཤྩ མཱཾ གྲྀཧླཱཏི ས མཏྤྲེརཀཾ གྲྀཧླཱཏི།
21 Having said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Truly, truly do I say to you, that one of you will betray me.
ཨེཏཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡིཏྭཱ ཡཱིཤུ རྡུཿཁཱི སན྄ པྲམཱཎཾ དཏྟྭཱ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱནཏིཡཐཱརྠཾ ཝདཱམི ཡུཥྨཱཀམ྄ ཨེཀོ ཛནོ མཱཾ པརཀརེཥུ སམརྤཡིཥྱཏི།
22 The disciples therefore looked at one another, doubting of whom he spoke.
ཏཏཿ ས ཀམུདྡིཤྱ ཀཐཱམེཏཱཾ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ཨིཏྱཏྲ སནྡིགྡྷཱཿ ཤིཥྱཱཿ པརསྤརཾ མུཁམཱལོཀཡིཏུཾ པྲཱརབྷནྟ།
23 There was reclining on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
ཏསྨིན྄ སམཡེ ཡཱིཤུ ཪྻསྨིན྄ ཨཔྲཱིཡཏ ས ཤིཥྱསྟསྱ ཝཀྵཿསྠལམ྄ ཨཝཱལམྦཏ།
24 To him therefore Simon Peter maketh a sign, and saith to him, Tell who it is of whom he is speaking.
ཤིམོནྤིཏརསྟཾ སངྐེཏེནཱཝདཏ྄, ཨཡཾ ཀམུདྡིཤྱ ཀཐཱམེཏཱམ྄ ཀཐཡཏཱིཏི པྲྀཙྪ།
25 He, therefore, leaning back on the breast of Jesus, saith to him, Lord, who is it?
ཏདཱ ས ཡཱིཤོ ཪྻཀྵཿསྠལམ྄ ཨཝལམྦྱ པྲྀཥྛཝཱན྄, ཧེ པྲབྷོ ས ཛནཿ ཀཿ?
26 Jesus answereth, It is he for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him. Having therefore dipped the morsel, he taketh and giveth it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུཿ པྲཏྱཝདད྄ ཨེཀཁཎྜཾ པཱུཔཾ མཛྫཡིཏྭཱ ཡསྨཻ དཱསྱཱམི སཨེཝ སཿ; པཤྩཱཏ྄ པཱུཔཁཎྜམེཀཾ མཛྫཡིཏྭཱ ཤིམོནཿ པུཏྲཱཡ ཨཱིཥྐརིཡོཏཱིཡཱཡ ཡིཧཱུདཻ དཏྟཝཱན྄།
27 And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus therefore saith to him, What thou doest, do quickly.
ཏསྨིན྄ དཏྟེ སཏི ཤཻཏཱན྄ ཏམཱཤྲཡཏ྄; ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུསྟམ྄ ཨཝདཏ྄ ཏྭཾ ཡཏ྄ ཀརིཥྱསི ཏཏ྄ ཀྵིཔྲཾ ཀུརུ།
28 Now no one at the table knew for what intent he said this to him.
ཀིནྟུ ས ཡེནཱཤཡེན ཏཱཾ ཀཐཱམཀཐཱཡཏ྄ ཏམ྄ ཨུཔཝིཥྚལོཀཱནཱཾ ཀོཔི ནཱབུདྷྱཏ;
29 For some thought, because Judas kept the purse, that Jesus said to him, Buy what we need for the feast; or that he should give something to the poor.
ཀིནྟུ ཡིཧཱུདཱཿ སམཱིཔེ མུདྲཱསམྤུཊཀསྠིཏེཿ ཀེཙིད྄ ཨིཏྠམ྄ ཨབུདྷྱནྟ པཱཪྻྭཎཱསཱདནཱརྠཾ ཀིམཔི དྲཝྱཾ ཀྲེཏུཾ ཝཱ དརིདྲེབྷྱཿ ཀིཉྩིད྄ ཝིཏརིཏུཾ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄།
30 He then, having received the morsel, went out immediately; and it was night.
ཏདཱ པཱུཔཁཎྜགྲཧཎཱཏ྄ པརཾ ས ཏཱུརྞཾ བཧིརགཙྪཏ྄; རཱཏྲིཤྩ སམུཔསྱིཏཱ།
31 When therefore he had gone out, Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
ཡིཧཱུདེ བཧིརྒཏེ ཡཱིཤུརཀཐཡད྄ ཨིདཱནཱིཾ མཱནཝསུཏསྱ མཧིམཱ པྲཀཱཤཏེ ཏེནེཤྭརསྱཱཔི མཧིམཱ པྲཀཱཤཏེ།
32 If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and will immediately glorify him.
ཡདི ཏེནེཤྭརསྱ མཧིམཱ པྲཀཱཤཏེ ཏརྷཱིཤྭརོཔི སྭེན ཏསྱ མཧིམཱནཾ པྲཀཱཤཡིཥྱཏི ཏཱུརྞམེཝ པྲཀཱཤཡིཥྱཏི།
33 My children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye will seek me; and, as I said to the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come, so now I say to you.
ཧེ ཝཏྶཱ ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱབྷིཿ སཱརྡྡྷཾ ཀིཉྩིཏྐཱལམཱཏྲམ྄ ཨཱསེ, ཏཏཿ པརཾ མཱཾ མྲྀགཡིཥྱདྷྭེ ཀིནྟྭཧཾ ཡཏྶྠཱནཾ ཡཱམི ཏཏྶྠཱནཾ ཡཱུཡཾ གནྟུཾ ན ཤཀྵྱཐ, ཡཱམིམཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡེབྷྱཿ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ཏཐཱདྷུནཱ ཡུཥྨབྷྱམཔི ཀཐཡཱམི།
34 A new commandment I give you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
ཡཱུཡཾ པརསྤརཾ པྲཱིཡདྷྭམ྄ ཨཧཾ ཡུཥྨཱསུ ཡཐཱ པྲཱིཡེ ཡཱུཡམཔི པརསྤརམ྄ ཏཐཻཝ པྲཱིཡདྷྭཾ, ཡུཥྨཱན྄ ཨིམཱཾ ནཝཱིནཱམ྄ ཨཱཛྙཱམ྄ ཨཱདིཤཱམི།
35 By this will all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another.
ཏེནཻཝ ཡདི པརསྤརཾ པྲཱིཡདྷྭེ ཏརྷི ལཀྵཎེནཱནེན ཡཱུཡཾ མམ ཤིཥྱཱ ཨིཏི སཪྻྭེ ཛྙཱཏུཾ ཤཀྵྱནྟི།
36 Simon Peter saith to him, Lord, whither dost thou go? Jesus answered, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou wilt follow me afterward.
ཤིམོནཔིཏརཿ པྲྀཥྛཝཱན྄ ཧེ པྲབྷོ བྷཝཱན྄ ཀུཏྲ ཡཱསྱཏི? ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུཿ པྲཏྱཝདཏ྄, ཨཧཾ ཡཏྶྠཱནཾ ཡཱམི ཏཏྶྠཱནཾ སཱམྤྲཏཾ མམ པཤྩཱད྄ གནྟུཾ ན ཤཀྣོཥི ཀིནྟུ པཤྩཱད྄ གམིཥྱསི།
37 Peter saith to him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thee.
ཏདཱ པིཏརཿ པྲཏྱུདིཏཝཱན྄, ཧེ པྲབྷོ སཱམྤྲཏཾ ཀུཏོ ཧེཏོསྟཝ པཤྩཱད྄ གནྟུཾ ན ཤཀྣོམི? ཏྭདརྠཾ པྲཱཎཱན྄ དཱཏུཾ ཤཀྣོམི།
38 Jesus answereth, Wilt thou lay down thy life for me? Truly, truly do I say to thee, A cock will not crow, till thou hast thrice denied me.
ཏཏོ ཡཱིཤུཿ པྲཏྱུཀྟཝཱན྄ མནྣིམིཏྟཾ ཀིཾ པྲཱཎཱན྄ དཱཏུཾ ཤཀྣོཥི? ཏྭཱམཧཾ ཡཐཱརྠཾ ཝདཱམི, ཀུཀྐུཊརཝཎཱཏ྄ པཱུཪྻྭཾ ཏྭཾ ཏྲི རྨཱམ྄ ཨཔཧྣོཥྱསེ།
