< Job 37 >
1 At this my heart trembleth, And leapeth out of its place.
“Yei ma mʼakoma bɔ paripari na ɛbɔ denden pa ara.
2 Hear, O hear, the thunder of his voice, And the noise which goeth forth from his mouth!
Tie! Tie ne nne mmobom, ne hooyɛ a ɛfiri nʼanom reba.
3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, And his lightning to the ends of the earth.
4 After it the thunder roareth; He thundereth with his voice of majesty, And restraineth it not, when his voice is heard.
Ɛno akyi na ne mmobom no ba; ɔde nne kɛseɛ bobom. Sɛ ɔkasa a, biribiara nsianka no.
5 God thundereth with his voice marvellously; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
Onyankopɔn nne bobom ma no yɛ nwanwa; ɔyɛ nneɛma akɛseɛ a ɛboro yɛn adwene so.
6 For he saith to the snow, “Be thou on the earth!” To the shower also, even the showers of his might.
Ɔka kyerɛ sukyerɛmma sɛ, ‘Tɔ gu asase so,’ ne osutɔ nso sɛ, ‘Yɛ osutɔ kɛseɛ.’
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man, That all men whom he hath made may acknowledge him.
Sɛdeɛ nnipa a wabɔ wɔn nyinaa bɛhunu nʼadwuma enti, ɔma obiara gyae nʼadwuma.
8 Then the beasts go into dens, And abide in their caverns.
Wiram mmoa kɔtetɛ; wɔkɔhyehyɛ wɔn abɔn mu.
9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind, And cold out of the north.
Ahum tu firi ne pia mu, na awɔ nso firi mframa a ɛrebɔ mu.
10 By the breath of God ice is formed, And the broad waters become narrow,
11 Yea, with moisture he burdeneth the clouds; He spreadeth abroad his lightning-clouds.
12 They move about by his direction, To execute all his commands throughout the world;
Ɔhyɛ ma wɔkyinkyini fa asase so nyinaa so hyia yɛ deɛ ɔkyerɛ sɛ wɔnyɛ biara.
13 Whether he cause them to come for punishment, Or for the land, or for mercy.
Ɔde omununkum ba de bɛtwe nnipa aso, anaasɛ ɔma ɛtɔ gu asase so de kyerɛ nʼadɔeɛ.
14 Give ear to this, O Job! Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God!
“Tie yei, Hiob; gyae na dwene Onyankopɔn anwanwadeɛ ho.
15 Dost thou know when God gave commandment to them, And caused the lightning of his cloud to flash?
16 Dost thou understand the balancing of the clouds, The wondrous works of Him that is perfect in knowledge?
Wonim sɛdeɛ omununkum sensɛn ewiem, deɛ ɔyɛ nyansaboakwa no anwanwadeɛ?
17 How thy garments become warm, When he maketh the earth still by the south wind?
Mo a mote fifire wɔ mo ntadeɛ mu ɛberɛ a anafoɔ mframa ma asase no yɛ dinn no,
18 Canst thou like him spread out the sky, Which is firm like a molten mirror?
wobɛtumi aboa no ama watrɛ ewiem, a ɛyɛ dene sɛ kɔbere mfrafraeɛ ahwehwɛ?
19 Teach us what we shall say to him! For we cannot set in order our words by reason of darkness.
“Kyerɛ yɛn deɛ ɛsɛ sɛ yɛka kyerɛ no; yɛrentumi nka yɛn asɛm, ɛsiane sɛ yɛnnim enti.
20 Shall it be told him that I would speak? Shall a man speak, that he may be consumed?
Ɛsɛ sɛ wɔbɔ Onyankopɔn nkaeɛ sɛ mepɛ sɛ me ne no kasa anaa? Onipa bi wɔ hɔ a ɔbɛpɛ sɛ wɔbɛmene no anaa?
21 For now men do not look upon the light, When it is bright in the skies, When the wind hath passed over them, and made them clear.
Obiara rentumi nhwɛ owia, sɛdeɛ ɛhyerɛn wɔ ewiem ɛberɛ a mframa abɔ ama ewiem ateɛ.
22 From the north cometh gold; But with God is terrible majesty!
Ɔfiri atifi fam ba wɔ animuonyam sononko mu; Onyankopɔn ba wɔ surokronkron tumi mu.
23 The Almighty, we cannot find him out; Great is he in power and justice, Abundant in righteousness; he doth not oppress.
Yɛnhunu Otumfoɔ deɛ, nanso ne tumi yɛ kɛseɛ; nʼatɛntenenee ne teneneeyɛ kɛseɛ akyi mpo ɔnyɛ nhyɛsoɔ.
24 Therefore let men fear him! Upon none of the wise in heart will he look.
