< Acts 24 >
1 And after five days Ananias, the high-priest, came down with the elders and a certain orator named Tertullus; and they brought a complaint before the governor against Paul.
པཉྩབྷྱོ དིནེབྷྱཿ པརཾ ཧནཱནཱིཡནཱམཱ མཧཱཡཱཛཀོ྅དྷིཔཏེཿ སམཀྵཾ པཽལསྱ པྲཱཏིཀཱུལྱེན ནིཝེདཡིཏུཾ ཏརྟུལླནཱམཱནཾ ཀཉྩན ཝཀྟཱརཾ པྲཱཙཱིནཛནཱཾཤྩ སངྒིནཿ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཀཻསརིཡཱནགརམ྄ ཨཱགཙྪཏ྄།
2 And when he had been called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy much peace, and that improvements are in every way and everywhere taking place in this nation through thy foresight,
ཏཏཿ པཽལེ སམཱནཱིཏེ སཏི ཏརྟུལླསྟསྱཱཔཝཱདཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡིཏུམ྄ ཨཱརབྷཏ ཧེ མཧཱམཧིམཕཱིལིཀྵ བྷཝཏོ ཝཡམ྄ ཨཏིནིཪྻྭིགྷྣཾ ཀཱལཾ ཡཱཔཡཱམོ བྷཝཏཿ པརིཎཱམདརྴིཏཡཱ ཨེཏདྡེཤཱིཡཱནཱཾ བཧཱུནི མངྒལཱནི གྷཊིཏཱནི,
3 we accept it, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
ཨིཏི ཧེཏོ ཪྻཡམཏིཀྲྀཏཛྙཱཿ སནྟཿ སཪྻྭཏྲ སཪྻྭདཱ བྷཝཏོ གུཎཱན྄ གཱཡམཿ།
4 But not to detain thee too long, I pray thee to hear us, in thy clemency, a few words.
ཀིནྟུ བཧུབྷིཿ ཀཐཱབྷི རྦྷཝནྟཾ ཡེན ན ཝིརཉྫཡཱམི ཏསྨཱད྄ ཝིནཡེ བྷཝཱན྄ བནུཀམྤྱ མདལྤཀཐཱཾ ཤྲྀཎོཏུ།
5 For we have found this man to be a pest, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes;
ཨེཥ མཧཱམཱརཱིསྭརཱུཔོ ནཱསརཏཱིཡམཏགྲཱཧིསཾགྷཱཏསྱ མུཁྱོ བྷཱུཏྭཱ སཪྻྭདེཤེཥུ སཪྻྭེཥཱཾ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱནཱཾ རཱཛདྲོཧཱཙརཎཔྲཝྲྀཏྟིཾ ཛནཡཏཱིཏྱསྨཱབྷི རྣིཤྩིཏཾ།
6 who also attempted to profane the temple, and we apprehended him;
ས མནྡིརམཔི ཨཤུཙི ཀརྟྟུཾ ཙེཥྚིཏཝཱན྄; ཨིཏི ཀཱརཎཱད྄ ཝཡམ྄ ཨེནཾ དྷྲྀཏྭཱ སྭཝྱཝསྠཱནུསཱརེཎ ཝིཙཱརཡིཏུཾ པྲཱཝརྟྟཱམཧི;
ཀིནྟུ ལུཥིཡཿ སཧསྲསེནཱཔཏིརཱགཏྱ བལཱད྄ ཨསྨཱཀཾ ཀརེབྷྱ ཨེནཾ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ
8 and from him thou canst thyself ascertain by examination all these things of which we accuse him.
ཨེཏསྱཱཔཝཱདཀཱན྄ བྷཝཏཿ སམཱིཔམ྄ ཨཱགནྟུམ྄ ཨཱཛྙཱཔཡཏ྄། ཝཡཾ ཡསྨིན྄ ཏམཔཝཱདཱམོ བྷཝཏཱ པདཔཝཱདཀཐཱཡཱཾ ཝིཙཱརིཏཱཡཱཾ སཏྱཱཾ སཪྻྭཾ ཝྲྀཏྟཱནྟཾ ཝེདིཏུཾ ཤཀྵྱཏེ།
9 And the Jews also joined in the charges against him, affirming that these things were so.
ཏཏོ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱ ཨཔི སྭཱིཀྲྀཏྱ ཀཐིཏཝནྟ ཨེཥཱ ཀཐཱ པྲམཱཎམ྄།
10 Then Paul, after the governor had beckoned to him to speak, answered, Since I know that thou hast been for many years a judge for this nation, I answer for myself cheerfully;
ཨདྷིཔཏཽ ཀཐཱཾ ཀཐཡིཏུཾ པཽལཾ པྲཏཱིངྒིཏཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཏི ས ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ བྷཝཱན྄ བཧཱུན྄ ཝཏྶརཱན྄ ཡཱཝད྄ ཨེཏདྡེཤསྱ ཤཱསནཾ ཀརོཏཱིཏི ཝིཛྙཱཡ པྲཏྱུཏྟརཾ དཱཏུམ྄ ཨཀྵོབྷོ྅བྷཝམ྄།
11 for it is in thy power to ascertain that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem to worship.
ཨདྱ ཀེཝལཾ དྭཱདཤ དིནཱནི ཡཱཏཱནི, ཨཧམ྄ ཨཱརཱདྷནཱཾ ཀརྟྟུཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམནགརཾ གཏཝཱན྄ ཨེཥཱ ཀཐཱ བྷཝཏཱ ཛྙཱཏུཾ ཤཀྱཏེ;
12 And neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any one, or stirring up a tumult of the people, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city;
ཀིནྟྭིབྷེ མཱཾ མདྷྱེམནྡིརཾ ཀེནཱཔི སཧ ཝིཏཎྜཱཾ ཀུཪྻྭནྟཾ ཀུཏྲཱཔི བྷཛནབྷཝནེ ནགརེ ཝཱ ལོཀཱན྄ ཀུཔྲཝྲྀཏྟིཾ ཛནཡནྟུཾ ན དྲྀཥྚཝནྟཿ།
13 nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me.
ཨིདཱནཱིཾ ཡསྨིན྄ ཡསྨིན྄ མཱམ྄ ཨཔཝདནྟེ ཏསྱ ཀིམཔི པྲམཱཎཾ དཱཏུཾ ན ཤཀྣུཝནྟི།
14 But this I acknowledge to thee, that according to the way [[of belief]] which they call a sect, so do I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and by the Prophets;
ཀིནྟུ བྷཝིཥྱདྭཱཀྱགྲནྠེ ཝྱཝསྠཱགྲནྠེ ཙ ཡཱ ཡཱ ཀཐཱ ལིཁིཏཱསྟེ ཏཱསུ སཪྻྭཱསུ ཝིཤྭསྱ ཡནྨཏམ྄ ཨིམེ ཝིདྷརྨྨཾ ཛཱནནྟི ཏནྨཏཱནུསཱརེཎཱཧཾ ནིཛཔིཏྲྀཔུརུཥཱཎཱམ྄ ཨཱིཤྭརམ྄ ཨཱརཱདྷཡཱམཱིཏྱཧཾ བྷཝཏཿ སམཀྵམ྄ ཨངྒཱིཀརོམི།
15 having a hope in God, which they themselves also entertain, that there will be a resurrection both of the righteous and the unrighteous.
དྷཱརྨྨིཀཱཎཱམ྄ ཨདྷཱརྨྨིཀཱཎཱཉྩ པྲམཱིཏལོཀཱནཱམེཝོཏྠཱནཾ བྷཝིཥྱཏཱིཏི ཀཐཱམིམེ སྭཱིཀུཪྻྭནྟི ཏཐཱཧམཔི ཏསྨིན྄ ཨཱིཤྭརེ པྲཏྱཱཤཱཾ ཀརོམི;
16 On this ground do I also myself strive to have always a conscience void of offence toward God and toward men.
ཨཱིཤྭརསྱ མཱནཝཱནཱཉྩ སམཱིཔེ ཡཐཱ ནིརྡོཥོ བྷཝཱམི ཏདརྠཾ སཏཏཾ ཡཏྣཝཱན྄ ཨསྨི།
17 And after some years I came to bring alms to my nation, and to make offerings;
བཧུཥུ ཝཏྶརེཥུ གཏེཥུ སྭདེཤཱིཡལོཀཱནཱཾ ནིམིཏྟཾ དཱནཱིཡདྲཝྱཱཎི ནཻཝེདྱཱནི ཙ སམཱདཱཡ པུནརཱགམནཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄།
18 in doing which they found me purified in the temple, not with a crowd nor with tumult; but certain Jews from Asia [[caused it]],
ཏཏོཧཾ ཤུཙི རྦྷཱུཏྭཱ ལོཀཱནཱཾ སམཱགམཾ ཀལཧཾ ཝཱ ན ཀཱརིཏཝཱན྄ ཏཐཱཔྱཱཤིཡཱདེཤཱིཡཱཿ ཀིཡནྟོ ཡིཧུདཱིཡལོཀཱ མདྷྱེམནྡིརཾ མཱཾ དྷྲྀཏཝནྟཿ།
19 who ought to be here before thee, and make their charge, if they had aught against me.
མམོཔརི ཡདི ཀཱཙིདཔཝཱདཀཐཱསྟི ཏརྷི བྷཝཏཿ སམཱིཔམ྄ ཨུཔསྠཱཡ ཏེཥཱམེཝ སཱཀྵྱདཱནམ྄ ཨུཙིཏམ྄།
20 Or, let these men themselves say what wrongdoing they found in me when I stood before the council,
ནོཙེཏ྄ པཱུཪྻྭེ མཧཱསབྷཱསྠཱནཱཾ ལོཀཱནཱཾ སནྣིདྷཽ མམ དཎྜཱཡམཱནཏྭསམཡེ, ཨཧམདྱ མྲྀཏཱནཱམུཏྠཱནེ ཡུཥྨཱབྷི ཪྻིཙཱརིཏོསྨི,
21 except in relation to this one expression, which I uttered aloud while standing among them: Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am tried before you this day.
ཏེཥཱཾ མདྷྱེ ཏིཥྛནྣཧཾ ཡཱམིམཱཾ ཀཐཱམུཙྩཻཿ སྭརེཎ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ཏདནྱོ མམ ཀོཔི དོཥོ྅ལབྷྱཏ ན ཝེཏི ཝརམ྄ ཨེཏེ སམུཔསྠིཏལོཀཱ ཝདནྟུ།
22 But Felix, having an accurate knowledge of the matters relating to this way [[of belief]], put them off, and said, When Lysias the chief captain cometh down, I will thoroughly examine your case.
ཏདཱ ཕཱིལིཀྵ ཨེཏཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཤྲུཏྭཱ ཏནྨཏསྱ ཝིཤེཥཝྲྀཏྟཱནྟཾ ཝིཛྙཱཏུཾ ཝིཙཱརཾ སྠགིཏཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄ ལུཥིཡེ སཧསྲསེནཱཔཏཽ སམཱཡཱཏེ སཏི ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཝིཙཱརམ྄ ཨཧཾ ནིཥྤཱདཡིཥྱཱམི།
23 He also gave orders to the centurion to guard him, and let him have indulgence, and not to forbid any of his friends to do him service.
ཨནནྟརཾ བནྡྷནཾ ཝིནཱ པཽལཾ རཀྵིཏུཾ ཏསྱ སེཝནཱཡ སཱཀྵཱཏྐརཎཱཡ ཝཱ ཏདཱིཡཱཏྨཱིཡབནྡྷུཛནཱན྄ ན ཝཱརཡིཏུཉྩ ཤམསེནཱཔཏིམ྄ ཨཱདིཥྚཝཱན྄།
24 And after some days, Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
ཨལྤདིནཱཏ྄ པརཾ ཕཱིལིཀྵོ྅དྷིཔཏི རྡྲུཥིལླཱནཱམྣཱ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཡཱ སྭབྷཱཪྻྱཡཱ སཧཱགཏྱ པཽལམཱཧཱུཡ ཏསྱ མུཁཱཏ྄ ཁྲཱིཥྚདྷརྨྨསྱ ཝྲྀཏྟཱནྟམ྄ ཨཤྲཽཥཱིཏ྄།
25 And as he discoursed of righteousness, and temperance, and the judgment to come, Felix became alarmed, and answered, Go thy way for the present; and when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
པཽལེན ནྱཱཡསྱ པརིམིཏབྷོགསྱ ཙརམཝིཙཱརསྱ ཙ ཀཐཱཡཱཾ ཀཐིཏཱཡཱཾ སཏྱཱཾ ཕཱིལིཀྵཿ ཀམྤམཱནཿ སན྄ ཝྱཱཧརད྄ ཨིདཱནཱིཾ ཡཱཧི, ཨཧམ྄ ཨཝཀཱཤཾ པྲཱཔྱ ཏྭཱམ྄ ཨཱཧཱུསྱཱམི།
26 He hoped also that money would be given him by Paul; on which account he sent for him the oftener, and conversed with him.
མུཀྟིཔྲཔྟྱརྠཾ པཽལེན མཧྱཾ མུདྲཱདཱསྱནྟེ ཨིཏི པཏྱཱཤཱཾ ཀྲྀཏྭཱ ས པུནཿ པུནསྟམཱཧཱུཡ ཏེན སཱཀཾ ཀཐོཔཀཐནཾ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄།
27 But after two years Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and Felix, wishing to gain favor with the Jews, left Paul bound.
ཀིནྟུ ཝཏྶརདྭཡཱཏ྄ པརཾ པརྐིཡཕཱིཥྚ ཕཱལིཀྵསྱ པདཾ པྲཱཔྟེ སཏི ཕཱིལིཀྵོ ཡིཧཱུདཱིཡཱན྄ སནྟུཥྚཱན྄ ཙིཀཱིརྵན྄ པཽལཾ བདྡྷཾ སཾསྠཱཔྱ གཏཝཱན྄།
