< Revelation 12 >
1 A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Chiratidzo chikuru uye chinoshamisa chakaonekwa kudenga: mukadzi akanga akapfeka zuva, mwedzi uri pasi petsoka dzake, nekorona ine nyeredzi gumi nembiri pamusoro wake.
2 She was with child. She screamed out in pain, laboring to give birth.
Akanga ane mimba uye akadanidzira mukurwadziwa sezvo akanga ava kupona.
3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Look, a great fiery red serpent, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.
Ipapo chimwe chiratidzo chakaonekwa kudenga: shato huru tsvuku ine misoro minomwe nenyanga gumi nekorona nomwe mumisoro yayo.
4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The serpent stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
Muswe wayo wakatsvaira chikamu chimwe chete muzvitatu chenyeredzi kubva kudenga ukadzikanda pasi. Shato yakamira pamberi pomukadzi akanga ava kuzvara, kuitira kuti iparadze mwana wake kana angozvarwa.
5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with an iron scepter. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.
Akazvara mwanakomana, munhurume, achazotonga ndudzi dzose netsvimbo yesimbi. Uye mwana wake akatorwa akaendeswa kuna Mwari nokuchigaro chake choushe.
6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
Mukadzi akatizira kugwenga kunzvimbo yaakanga agadzirirwa naMwari, kwaaizochengetwa kwamazuva chiuru namazana maviri namakumi matanhatu.
7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the serpent. The serpent and his angels made war.
Uye kudenga kwakava nehondo. Mikaeri navatumwa vake vakarwa neshato, uye shato navatumwa vayo ikadzorerawo.
8 They did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any more in heaven.
Asi yakanga isina simba rakakwana, uye nzvimbo yavo yakashayikwa kudenga.
9 The great serpent was thrown down, the ancient serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Shato huru yakakandwa pasi, iyo nyoka yekare inonzi dhiabhori, kana kuti Satani, anotsausa nyika yose. Akakandwa panyika pamwe chete navatumwa vake.
10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
Ipapo ndakanzwa inzwi guru kudenga richiti: “Zvino ruponeso nesimba noumambo hwaMwari wedu zvasvika, uye nesimba raKristu wake. Nokuti mupomeri wehama dzedu, iye anovapomera pamberi paMwari wedu masikati nousiku, akandwa panyika.
11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. They did not love their life, even to death.
Vakamukunda neropa reGwayana uye neshoko rokupupura kwavo; havana kuda upenyu hwavo zvakanyanya zvokuti vangatya kufa.
12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the land and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time."
Naizvozvo farai, imi matenga nemi munogara maari! Asi mune nhamo imi nyika negungwa, nokuti dhiabhori aburuka kwamuri! Akatsamwa kwazvo, nokuti anoziva kuti nguva yake ipfupi.”
13 When the serpent saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
Shato yakati yaona kuti yakanga yakandwa panyika, yakadzinganisa mukadzi akanga azvara mwana mukomana.
14 Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Mukadzi akapiwa mapapiro maviri egondo guru, kuitira kuti agobhururuka achienda kunzvimbo yaakanga agadzirirwa kugwenga, uko kwaaizochengetwa kwenguva nedzimwe nguva nehafu yenguva, kusingasviki nyoka.
15 The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
Ipapo nyoka yakabudisa mvura yakaita sorwizi kubva mumuromo mayo, kuti ikukure mukadzi namafashamu.
16 The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the serpent spewed out of his mouth.
Asi nyika yakabatsira mukadzi nokuzarura muromo wayo ikamedza rwizi rwakanga rwabudiswa neshato mumuromo wayo.
17 The serpent grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Ipapo shato yakatsamwira mukadzi ikaenda kundorwa navana vake vakanga vasara, vaya vanoteerera mirayiro yaMwari uye vanobatirira pauchapupu hwaJesu.
