< Psalms 74 >

1 [A contemplation by Asaph.] God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
Ry Andrianañahare, ino ty ifaria’o anay zafe-anake? Ino ty ifomboa’o o añondry fiandraze’oo?
2 Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance; Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
Tiahio i valobohòke vinili’o haehaey, i foko jineba’o ho lova’oy! naho ty vohi’ i Tsiône fimoneña’oy.
3 Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
Aonjono o fandia’oo mb’amy hakoahañe nainai’ey, jinoi’ i rafelahiy ze hene raha an-toe’ i miavakey ao.
4 Your adversaries have roared in the midst of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
Niroharoha añivo’ o famantaña’oo o rafelahi’oo; najado’ iareo ty vilo’ iareo ho viloñe.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
Sata’e ty maonjom-pekoñe añ’ala matahetse ao;
6 Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
Ie henaneo, mamatsike am-pekoñe naho rabosàke o varamba’e nitsenèñe an-tsokitseo.
7 They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
Finorototo’ iereo pak’an-tane i efe’o miavakey; nitivae’ iereo i fimoneñan- tahina’o masiñey.
8 They said in their heart, "We will crush them completely." They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
Hoe ty fisafirin-tro’iareo: Antao haharo ambaneñe iaby iereo; Fonga nitomontoe’ iareo o toem-pivorin’ Añahare an-taneo.
9 We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
Tsy mahatrea o vilo’aio zahay; tsy amam-pitoky ka; naho tsy ama’ay ty mahafohiñe te hombia.
10 How long, God, shall the enemy mock? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
Pak’ombia ry Andrianañahare, te mbe hanìtse avao i rafelahiy? Ho tsambolitio’ o malaiñ’azo nainai’e hao i tahina’oy?
11 Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it out of your pocket and consume them.
Ino ty nanitaha’o ty fità’o? I fitàn-kavana’oy? Afaho boak’ añ’araña’o ao ty fità’o, vaho mongoro?
12 Yet God is my King from long ago, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Toe mpanjakako boake haehae t’i Andrianañahare, mitoloñe fandrombahañe an-tane atoy.
13 You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
Riniaria’o an-kaozarañe i riakey vaho dinemo’o an-drano ao o loha’ i fañaneñeio.
14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
Hinoto’o o loha’ i fañanen-driakeio, hamahana’o o mpimoneñe am-patrañeo.
15 You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
Nipoñafe’o o rano mitsiritsiokeo naho o sakao; nimaihe’o o oñe mikararake nainai’eo.
16 The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
Azo ty antoandro, Azo ka ty haleñe; fa nihajarie’o o hazavàñeo naho i àndroy
17 You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
Najado’o iaby o fiefetsefe’ ty tane toio, nanoe’o ty asotry naho ty asara.
18 Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, YHWH. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
Tiahio, ry Iehovà, te niteratera i rafelahiy, vaho nitivae’ o lo-tserekeo i Tahina’oy.
19 Do not deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Do not forget the life of your poor forever.
Ko atolo’o ami’ty biby hàko ty deho’o, ko haliño’o nainai’e o nanilofe’oo.
20 Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
Ambeno i fañinay, fa atseke kibohon-kasiahañe o toetse maieñe’ an-taneo!
21 Do not let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
Ko hampolie’o an-kasalarañe o demokeo! fa hibango i tahina’oy o misotrio naho o poie’eo.
22 Arise, God. Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
Miongaha, ry Andrianañahare, ihalalio o azoo; tiahio ty fiterà’ i dagolay lomoñandro.
23 Do not forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
Ko haliño ty feo’ o rafelahi’oo; mitoabotse nainai’e ty fifandragaragà’ o mitroatse ama’oo.
