< Hebrews 5 >

1 For every high priest, being taken from among people, is appointed for people in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
Thempu chungnung chu midang thalhenga Pathen koma galut ji ahi. Aman amaho thilto chu Pathen koma apeha chule achonset jeh uva maichama thil atou chu akatdoh ji ahi.
2 The high priest can deal gently with those who are ignorant and going astray, because he himself is also surrounded with weakness.
Chule Amahi ima helou le seingailou ho jeng jong lungnengtah a bolthei ahi, ajeh chu Amatah jong hiche lhahsamna thunoiya chu kipelut a ahi.
3 Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.
Hichejeh a chu Ama le midang ho chonsetna ho jeh a chu kilhaina aboltei hiji ahi.
4 Nobody takes this honor on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was.
Chule mi koima thempu chungnung chu jabolna tah achan jeh a ahinom mana moh hi jengthei ahidehpoi. Ama chu Aaron tobanga hiche natohna dinga hi Pathen kouna chang mi hiding ahiye.
5 So also Christ did not glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father."
Hiti ahijeh a Christa jeng jong chu Thempu Chungnung hina na atoh jeng vang chun Amatah kichoian dehlouva ahi. Ama chu Pathen deilhen changa ahin, ajah a hitia hi asei ahi, “Nangma ka Chapa nahi. Keima tunia na Pa kahunghi ahitai.”
6 As he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." (aiōn g165)
Chule munchom khat ah, Pathen in ajah a aseiyin, “Nangma Melchizedek themputna tobanga tonsot thempu nahi,” ati. (aiōn g165)
7 In the days of his flesh, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
Yeshua chu leiset a anaum laiyin, Aman taona le thumna aneiyin hapen in apengin kana le mitlhi tothon thinaa kona ahuhdoh theipa henga chun ataove. Chule Aman Pathen aginlheh jeh chun Pathen in ataonaho chu angaipehtai.
8 Although he was a Son, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered.
Yeshua chu Pathen Chapa ahijeng vang'in, Aman athohgimna a chun sei angaiyin ahi.
9 Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of everlasting salvation, (aiōnios g166)
Hiti hin, Pathen in thempu chungnung hina chamkim tah in asemin, chule asei ngai jouse dingin tonsot hinna bulpin asemtai. (aiōnios g166)
10 named by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
Chule Pathen in Ama hi Melchizedek banga Thempu chungnunga apehdoh ahitai.
11 About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing.
Keihon hiche thudol hi tampi kaseibe nomun, hinla hilchet ding ahahsai, adeh in nangho lhagaolam dol ah nalungmo un chule na ngainom diu chu ginchat aumpoi.
12 For when by reason of the time you ought to be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, not solid food.
Tahsan cha nahung hinau sotpi ahunghitan, tua hi midang hil theiding nahiu ahitai. Chusangin, nanghon midang khat in Pathen Thubul lam nahildiu nangaicha nalaiyuve. Nangho hi naosen noitui ngaicha nalai chule anham nethei loulai tobang nahiuve.
13 For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.
Ijeh ham itileh noichep nalai chu naosen hinalaibep ahin, chule thilpha itibol ding ham chu ahetloulai ahi.
14 But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
An ham chu akikhanlhit hoa ding ahi, amaho chun akithemchuh uva kona adih le adihlou hetkhenna aneiyu ahitai.
