2 Chronicles 4

1 Then he made an altar of bronze, thirty-four feet and five inches, its length, and thirty-four feet and five inches, its breadth, and seventeen feet and three inches its height.

١ وَصَنَعَ سُلَيْمَانُ مَذْبَحَ النُّحَاسِ، طُولُهُ عِشْرُونَ ذِرَاعاً (نَحْوَ عَشَرَةِ أَمْتَارٍ) وَعَرْضُهُ عِشْرُونَ ذِرَاعاً (نَحْوَ عَشَرَةِ أَمْتَارٍ) وَارْتِفَاعُهُ عَشْرُ أَذْرُعٍ (نَحْوَ خَمْسَةِ أَمْتَارٍ).

2 Also he made the molten sea seventeen feet and three inches from brim to brim, round in compass; and its height was eight feet and seven inches; and a line of fifty-one feet and eight inches encircled it.

٢ وَسَبَكَ بِرْكَةً مِنَ النُّحَاسِ مُسْتَدِيرَةً طُولُ قُطْرِهَا مِنْ حَافَتِهَا إِلَى حَافَتِهَا عَشْرُ أَذْرُعٍ (نَحْوَ خَمْسَةِ أَمْتَارٍ) وَارْتِفَاعُهَا خَمْسُ أَذْرُعٍ (نَحْوَ مِتْرَيْنِ وَنِصْفِ الْمِتْرِ)، وَطُولُ مُحِيطِهَا ثَلاثُونَ ذِرَاعاً (نَحْوَ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ مِتْراً).

3 Under it was the likeness of oxen, which encircled it, for seventeen feet and three inches, encircling the sea. The oxen were in two rows, cast when it was cast.

٣ وَقَدْ سُبِكَ بِشَكْلٍ دَائِرِيٍّ، وَكَجُزْءٍ مِنْهَا، تَحْتَ اسْتِدَارَةِ مُحِيطِهَا، صَفَّانِ مِنَ الْقِثَّاءِ بِمِقْدَارِ عَشْرِ قِثَّاءَاتٍ لِكُلِّ ذِرَاعٍ (نَحْوَ نِصْفِ مِتْرٍ)، وَقَدْ سُبِكَتْ كَجُزْءٍ مِنَ الْحَوْضِ.

4 It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set on them above, and all their backs were toward the center.

٤ وَكَانَتِ الْبِرْكَةُ قَائِمَةً عَلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ ثَوْراً، يَتَّجِهُ ثَلاثَةٌ مِنْهَا بِرُؤُوسِهَا نَحْوَ الشِّمَالِ، وَثَلاثَةٌ أُخْرَى نَحْوَ الْغَرْبِ، وَثَلاثَةٌ ثَالِثَةٌ نَحْوَ الْجَنُوبِ، وَالثَّلاثَةُ الأَخِيرَةُ نَحْوَ الشَّرْقِ، وَالْبِرْكَةُ تَرْتَكِزُ عَلَى أَعْجَازِهَا الْمُتَّجِهَةِ نَحْوَ الدَّاخِلِ.

5 It was almost three inches thick; and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it received and held three thousand baths.

٥ وَبَلَغَ سُمْكُ جِدَارِ الْبِرْكَةِ شِبْراً، وَصُنِعَتْ حَافَّتُهَا عَلَى شَكْلِ كَأْسِ زَهْرِ السُّوسَنِّ، وَكَانَتْ تَتَّسِعُ لِثَلاثَةِ آلافِ بَثٍّ (نَحْوَ اثْنَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ أَلْفاً وَخَمْسِ مِئَةِ لِتْرٍ).

6 He made also ten basins, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them; such things as belonged to the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

٦ وَصَنَعَ عَشَرَةَ أَحْوَاضٍ لِغَسْلِ مَا يُقَرِّبُونَهُ كَمُحْرَقَاتٍ، أَقَامَ خَمْسَةً مِنْهَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَخَمْسَةً عَنِ الشِّمَالِ. أَمَّا الْبِرْكَةُ فَقَدْ خُصِّصَتْ لاغْتِسَالِ الْكَهَنَةِ.

7 He made the ten lampstands of gold according to the ordinance concerning them; and he set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.

٧ وَصَاغَ عَشْرَ مَنَائِرِ ذَهَبٍ بِمُوْجِبِ الْمُوَاصَفَاتِ الْمَوْضُوعَةِ لَهَا، وَنَصَبَهَا فِي الْهَيْكَلِ: خَمْساً عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَخَمْساً عَنِ الشِّمَالِ.

8 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. He made one hundred basins of gold.

٨ وَكَذَلِكَ صَنَعَ عَشْرَ مَوَائِدَ وَضَعَهَا فِي الْهَيْكَلِ خَمْسَةً عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَخَمْسَةً عَنِ الشِّمَالِ. كَمَا صَنَعَ مِئَةَ مِنْضَحَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ.

9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with bronze.

٩ وَبَنَى فِنَاءَ الْكَهَنَةِ وَالدَّارَ الْعَظِيمَةَ مَعَ مَصَارِيعِهَا الَّتِي غَشَّاهَا بِالنُّحَاسِ.

10 He set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.

١٠ أَمَّا الْبِرْكَةُ فَقَدْ أَثْبَتَهَا فِي الْجَانِبِ الأَيْمَنِ فِي الْجِهَةِ الْجَنُوبِيَّةِ الشَّرْقِيَّةِ.

11 And Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing the work that he did for king Solomon in God's house:

١١ وَعَمِلَ حُورَامُ الْقُدُورَ وَالرُّفُوشَ وَالْمَنَاضِحَ. وَأَكْمَلَ كُلَّ مَا طَلَبَهُ الْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ لإِتْمَامِ الْهَيْكَلِ:

12 the two pillars, and the bowls, and the two capitals which were on the top of the pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars,

١٢ الْعَمُودَيْنِ وَكُرَتَيِ التَّاجَيْنِ الْقَائِمَتَيْنِ عَلَى قِمَّتَيِ الْعَمُودَيْنِ، وَالشَّبَكَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ تُغَطِّيَانِ كُرَتَيِ التَّاجَيْنِ.

13 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars.

١٣ وَالرُّمَّانَاتِ الأَرْبَعَ مِئَةٍ الْمُعَلَّقَةَ بِالشَّبَكَتَيْنِ، صَفَّيْنِ لِكُلِّ شَبَكَةٍ لِتُغَطِّيَ كُرَتَيِ التَّاجَيْنِ الْقَائِمَتَيْنِ عَلَى قِمَّتَيِ الْعَمُودَيْنِ.

14 He made also the bases, and the basins made he on the bases;

١٤ كَذَلِكَ صَنَعَ الْقَوَاعِدَ وَأَحْوَاضَهَا الْمُرْتَكِزَةَ عَلَيْهَا.

15 one sea, and the twelve oxen under it.

١٥ وَالْبِرْكَةَ الْقَائِمَةَ عَلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ ثَوْراً،

16 The pots, the shovels, the forks, and all its vessels Hiram Abi made for king Solomon for the house of YHWH of bright bronze.

١٦ وَالْقُدُورَ وَالرُّفُوشَ وَالْمَنَاشِلَ، وَكُلَّ أَوَانِيهَا. وَقَدْ صَنَعَ حُورَامُ هَذِهِ كُلَّهَا لِلْمَلِكِ سُلَيْمَانَ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ مَصْقُولٍ، لِتَكُونَ فِي الْهَيْكَلِ،

17 The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.

١٧ فِي غَوْرِ الأُرْدُنِّ حَيْثُ سَبَكَهَا فِي أَرْضِ الْخَزَفِ بَيْنَ سُكُّوتَ وَصَرَدَةَ.

18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the bronze could not be found out.

١٨ وَعَمِلَ سُلَيْمَانُ كُلَّ هَذِهِ الآنِيَةِ الْكَثِيرَةِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَحْسُبَ وَزْنَ النُّحَاسِ.

19 Solomon made all the vessels that were in God's house, the golden altar also, and the tables with the show bread on them;

١٩ وَأَمَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ بِصُنْعِ آنِيَةِ بَيْتِ اللهِ، وَمَذْبَحِ الذَّهَبِ وَمَوَائِدِ خُبْزِ التَّقْدِمَاتِ،

20 and the lampstands with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the inner sanctuary, of pure gold;

٢٠ وَالْمَنَائِرِ وَسُرُجِهَا الْمُضِيئَةِ دَائِماً أَمَامَ الْمِحْرَابِ بِمُقْتَضَى نَصِّ الشَّرِيعَةِ، مِنْ ذَهَبٍ خَالِصٍ.

21 and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, and that perfect gold;

٢١ وَالأَزْهَارُ والسُّرُجُ وَالْمَلاقِطُ، كُلُّهَا صُنِعَتْ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ نَقِيٍّ.

22 and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors of it for the most holy place, and the doors of the main hall of the temple were of gold.

٢٢ كَمَا سُبِكَتِ الْمَقَاصُّ وَالْمَنَاضِحُ وَالصُّحُونُ وَالْمَجَامِرُ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ نَقِيٍّ. وَكَذَلِكَ صُنِعَ بَابُ الْهَيْكَلِ وَمَصَارِيعُ قُدْسِ الأَقْدَاسِ وَمَصَارِيعُ الْقَاعَةِ الرَّئِيسِيَّةِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ.
