< Psalms 81 >
1 [For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. By Asaph.] Sing aloud to God, our strength. Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob.
[Psalm lal Asaph] Srukak pusren engan nu sin God, su loangekut, Yuk on in kaksak nu sin God lal Jacob!
2 Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
Mutawauk on, ac srital ke tambourine, Sritalkin pusra wowo lun harp ac lyre.
3 Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
Ukya mwe ukuk ke pacl in kufwa — Ke pacl in alwut, ac ke pacl in mwesr.
4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
Pa inge ma sap in acn Israel, Ma oakwuk sin God lal Jacob.
5 He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I did not know.
El sang ma sap inge nu sin mwet Israel Ke El mweuni facl Egypt. Nga lohng sie pusra nga tia etu su fahk,
6 "I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.
“Nga eisla ma toasr liki finpisowos; Nga aksukosokye pouwos liki orekma upa.
7 You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah." (Selah)
Ke kowos muta in ongoiya kowos pang nu sik, ac nga molikowosla; Nga topuk kowos liki nien muta lukma luk ke paka, Ac nga srike kowos ke unon in kof Meribah.
8 "Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me.
Mwet luk, porongo kas in sensenkakin luk, O Israel, nga kena tuh kowos in porongeyu!
9 There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
Kowos in tiana alu nu sin kutena god saya.
10 I am the LORD, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Nga LEUM GOD lowos, Su uskowosme liki acn Egypt. Oalngelik oaluwos ac nga fah kite kowos.
11 But my people did not listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
“Tuh mwet luk elos tiana porongeyu. Israel tiana akosyu.
12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.
Ke ma inge nga fuhlela elos in fahsrna ke moul likkeke lalos uh, Ac oru oana lungse lalos.
13 Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways.
Nga arulana ke mwet luk in porongeyu, Ac akosyu.
14 I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
Na nga fah sa in kutangla mwet lokoalok lalos Ac nga fah sruokya mwet lainulos nukewa.
15 The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
Elos su srungayu fah sangeng ac epasr ye mutuk, Kai luk nu selos fah oan ma pahtpat.
16 And he would have fed him with the finest wheat, and satisfied you with honey from the rock."
Tusruktu nga ac fah kite kowos ke wheat na wowo, Ac akkihpye kowos ke honey inima uh.”
