< Romans 10 >

1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for them, that they may be saved.
ⲁ̅ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲠϮⲘⲀϮ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲀϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲀⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈϮⲢⲀ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϨⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
ⲃ̅ϮⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲬⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲞⲨⲈⲘⲒ ⲀⲚ.
3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
ⲅ̅ⲈⲨⲞⲂϢ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲀⲤⲈⲘⲚⲈ ⲐⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲞⲨϬⲚⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
4 For Meshikha is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
ⲇ̅ⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎ ⲒⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϨϮ.
5 For Mushe writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."
ⲉ̅ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀϤⲤϦⲀⲒ ϪⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ϮⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲀⲒⲤ ⲈϤⲈⲰⲚϦ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲤ.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up into heaven?' (that is, to bring Meshikha down);
ⲋ̅ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲆⲈ ϮⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲀϨϮ ϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϪⲞⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔϨⲎ ⲦϪⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϢϢⲈ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲦⲪⲈ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ.
7 or, 'Who will go down into the deep?' (that is, to bring Meshikha up from the dead.)" (Abyssos g12)
ⲍ̅ⲒⲈ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϢϢⲈ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ. (Abyssos g12)
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we proclaim;
ⲏ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲈ ϮⲄⲢⲀⲪⲎ ϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϤϦⲈⲚⲦ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔϨⲎⲦ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
9 because, if you acknowledge with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
ⲑ̅ϪⲈ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲔϢⲀⲚⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰⲔ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲚⲀϨϮ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔϨⲎⲦ ϪⲈ ⲀⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲤϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲔⲈⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ.
10 For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth acknowledgment is made, resulting in salvation.
ⲓ̅ϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϨⲎⲦ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲨⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ.
11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲤϪⲰ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚϪⲈϮⲄⲢⲀⲪⲎ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚⲚⲈϤϬⲒϢⲒⲠⲒ.
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on him.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲪⲰⲢϪ ⲄⲀⲢ ϢⲞⲠ ⲘⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲈⲒⲚⲒⲚ ⲠⲀⲒϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲢⲀⲘⲀⲞ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲰϢ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲞⲨⲂⲎϤ.
13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲘⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈϤⲈⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ.
14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone preaching?
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲠⲰⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲠⲰⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲚⲀϨϮ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲤⲞⲐⲘⲈϤ ⲠⲰⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲀⲦϬⲚⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϨⲒⲰⲒϢ.
15 And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of peace, who bring good news of good things."
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲠⲰⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲀⲨϢⲦⲈⲘⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠⲞⲨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϪⲈ ϨⲰⲤ ⲈⲚⲈⲤⲈ ⲚⲈⲚϬⲀⲖⲀⲨϪ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϨⲒϢⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈⲨ
16 But they did not all listen to the Good News. For Eshaya says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲒⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲎⲤⲀⲎⲀⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲘⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠϢⲰⲂϢ ⲘⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲈⲦⲀϤϬⲰⲢⲠ ⲈⲚⲒⲘ.
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Meshikha.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ϨⲀⲢⲀ ⲪⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ.
18 But I ask, isn't it rather that they did not hear? On the contrary, "Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest parts of the world."
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲎ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲄⲈ ⲀⲠⲞⲨϦⲢⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲨⲪⲞϨ ϢⲀ ⲀⲨⲢⲎϪⲤ ⲚϮⲞⲒⲔⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲎ.
19 But I ask, did not Israyel know? First Mushe says, "I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is not a people. I will make you angry with a foolish nation."
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲎ ⲘⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲖ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲈⲘⲒ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲈⲒⲈϮⲬⲞϨ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲦⲔⲀϮ ⲈⲒⲈⲐⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲰⲚⲦ.
20 Eshaya is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who did not seek me. I was revealed to those who did not ask for me."
ⲕ̅ⲎⲤⲀⲎⲀⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲦⲞⲖⲘⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲨϪⲈⲘⲦ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲈⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲒⲞⲨⲞⲚϨⲦ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲈϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ⲀⲚ.
21 But as to Israyel he says, "All day long I have stretched out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ϤϪⲰ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲖ ϪⲈ ⲀⲒⲪⲰⲢϢ ⲚⲚⲀϪⲒϪ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲞⲨⲂⲈ ⲞⲨⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲦⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲈⲢⲀⲚⲦⲒⲖⲈⲄⲒⲚ.
