Revelation 19
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! The salvation, and the glory, and the power [belong] to the LORD our God;
其後我、大群衆の聲の如きものの天に於て斯く言へるを聞けり、アレルヤ、救霊と光榮と能力とは我神に歸す、
2 because true and righteous [are] His judgments, because He judged the great whore who corrupted the earth in her whoredom, and He avenged the blood of His servants at her hand”;
蓋其淫亂を以て地上を腐敗せしめたる大淫婦を審判し給ひしものの審判は、眞に且正しくして、己が僕等の血の報を彼の手に求め給ひしなり、と。
3 and a second time they said, “Hallelujah”; and her smoke comes up through the ages of the ages! (aiōn g165)
又重ねて言ひけるは、アレルヤ、彼が烟立昇りて世々に限なし、と。 (aiōn g165)
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and they worshiped God who is sitting on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”
而して廿四人の翁と四の動物と平伏して、玉座に坐し給ふ神を禮拝し奉り、アメン、アレルヤ、と稱へたり。
5 And a voice out of the throne came forth, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants, and those fearing Him, both the small and the great”;
斯て聲玉座より出でて言ひけるは、総て神の僕たる者、又大小を問はず之を畏るる者よ、我神を賛美し奉れ、と。
6 and I heard as the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, “Hallelujah! Because our Lord, the God, the Almighty, has reigned!
我又大群衆の聲の如く、大水の聲の如く、大いなる雷の聲の如きものの斯く言へるを聞けり、アレルヤ、蓋我全能の神にて在す主は統治し給へるなり。
7 May we rejoice and exult, and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready;
将我等は歓び躍りて之に光榮を歸し奉らん、蓋羔の婚禮の期至りて、其新婦既に準備を調へ、
8 and there was given to her that she may be clothed with fine linen, pure and radiant, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the holy ones.”
潔くして輝ける亜麻布を身に装ふことを得しめられたり、と。亜麻布とは聖人の正しき業なり。
9 And he says to me, “Write: Blessed [are] they who have been called to the banquet of the marriage of the Lamb”; and he says to me, “These [are] the true words of God”;
[天使]又我に謂ひけるは、羔の婚筵に召されし人々は福なる哉、と書け、と。又我に謂ひけるは、是ぞ神の眞の御言なる、と。
10 and I fell before his feet to worship him, and he says to me, “Behold—No! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers, those having the testimony of Jesus; worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy.”
斯て我之を禮拝せんとして、其足下に平伏しければ、又我に謂ひけるは、然する事勿れ、我は汝及びイエズスの證を有せる汝が兄弟等と同様の僕なり、神をば禮拝し奉れ、其は預言の霊はイエズスを證し奉ればなり、と。
11 And I saw Heaven having been opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who is sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war,
第一項 キリストの決勝 第三編 キリスト及び聖會の決勝 又見たるに、折しも天開けて一の白馬あり、之に乗れるは忠信者、眞實者と稱せらるる者にして、正義を以て審判し且戰ひ給ひ、
12 and His eyes [are] as a flame of fire, and on His head [are] many crowns—having a Name written that no one has known, except Himself,
御目は焔の如く、頭には數多の冠を戴き、又記せる名ありて、自らの外誰も之を知る者なく、
13 and He is clothed with a garment covered with blood, and His Name is called, The Word of God.
又血に塗れたる衣服を纏ひ給ひて、名を神の御言と稱す。
14 And the armies in Heaven were following Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen—white and pure;
又天に在る諸軍は白馬に乗り、白く潔き亜麻布を纏ひ給ひて之に從ひ居れり。
15 and out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He may strike the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron, and He treads the press of the wine of the wrath and the anger of God the Almighty,
而して諸民を撃つべき兩刃の利き剣、彼の口より出で、彼は鉄の杖を以て諸民を治め給ふべく、又自ら全能の神の御怒の搾槽を踏み給ひ、
16 and He has on the garment and on His thigh the name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
衣の上股の處に其名記されて、諸王の王、諸主の主、とあり。
17 And I saw one messenger standing in the sun, and he cried [with] a great voice, saying to all the birds that are flying in midair, “Come and be gathered together to the banquet of the great God [[or the great banquet of God]],
又見たるに、一の天使太陽の中に立ちて、空の中央を飛べる一切の鳥に對ひ、聲高く呼はりて言ひけるは、汝等來りて神の大いなる饗筵に集れ、
18 that you may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of chiefs of thousands, and flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses, and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all—freemen and servants—both small and great.”
諸國王の肉、千夫長等の肉、権力者の肉、馬と之に乗れる人々との肉、総て自由なるもの奴隷たるもの、大人小人の肉を喰ふべし、と。
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, having been gathered together to make war with Him who is sitting on the horse, and with His army;
又見たるに、彼獣と地上の諸國王と其軍隊と既に集りて、白馬に乗り給へるもの及び其軍隊と戰はんとしたるに、
21 and the rest were killed with the sword of Him who is sitting on the horse, which is proceeding out of His mouth, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
其他の者は皆、白馬に乗り給へるものの口より出づる剣にて殺され、諸の鳥飽くまで其肉を喰へり。
