< Psalms 91 >
1 He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty,
ME kin momod pan lim en me lapalap, o me pan mimieta pan mot en me manaman o.
2 He is saying of YHWH, “My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,”
Iei me kin indang Ieowa: Ai paip, o ai kel, ai Kot, me i liki.
3 For He delivers you from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
Pwe a pan kotin dore uk sang insar en sauninsar, o sang ni kilitop sued.
4 He covers you over with His pinion, And under His wings you trust, His truth [is] a shield and buckler.
A pan kotin kadupal kin uk edi lim a, o koe pan moleilei pan lim a kan; a melel rasong kadauk o pere eu.
5 You are not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flies by day,
Koe sota pan masak kalom en ni pong, de kanangan kasik katieu, me kin tang wei nin ran,
6 Of pestilence that walks in thick darkness, Of destruction that destroys at noon,
De kilitop, me kin wawai sili pong, de eu song en kilitop me kin kaukawela nin sauas.
7 One thousand fall at your side, And a myriad at your right hand, [But] it does not come near to you.
Kid pan mela imp om, o nen ni pali maun om, ap sota pan lel ong uk.
8 But with your eyes you look, And you see the reward of the wicked,
Koe pan kilangki mas om kan, o koe pan kilang duen a pan depuk ong me doo sang Kot akan.
9 (For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), You made the Most High your habitation.
Pwe komui Maing Ieowa, kapore pa i. Koe piladar me lapalap o, pwen om kel.
10 Evil does not happen to you, And a plague does not come near your tent,
Sota me sued kot pan lel ong uk, o sota kalokolok pan lel ong im om.
11 For He charges His messengers for you, To keep you in all your ways,
Pwe a kotin kakaliki ong sapwilim a tounlang kan, en apapwali uk o sinsila uk nan al omui kan karos.
12 On the hands they bear you up, Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
Re pan wa kin uk ala lim ar akan, pwe nä om ender dipikelekel nin takai eu;
13 You tread on lion and cobra, You trample young lion and dragon.
Koe pan tiakedi laien o oter kai, laien pulepul o serpent, me koe pan sok poa.
14 Because he has delighted in Me, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
A kin peren kin ia, I ap pan sauasa i, a asa mar ai, I ap pan sinsila i.
15 He calls Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honor him.
A pan likwir dong ia, I ap pan sapeng i, I pan iang i ni wasa apwal, I pan kapitila i o kalinganada i.
16 I satisfy him with [the] length of [his] days, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
I pan kamedi kin i maur warai, o I pan kasale ong i ai sauas.
