Psalms 36
1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY A SERVANT OF YHWH, BY DAVID. The transgression of the wicked Is affirming within my heart, “Fear of God is not before his eyes,
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये यहोवा के दास दाऊद का भजन दुष्ट जन का अपराध उसके हृदय के भीतर कहता है; परमेश्वर का भय उसकी दृष्टि में नहीं है।
2 For he made [it] smooth to himself in his eyes, To find his iniquity to be hated.
२वह अपने अधर्म के प्रगट होने और घृणित ठहरने के विषय अपने मन में चिकनी चुपड़ी बातें विचारता है।
3 The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit, He ceased to act prudently—to do good.
३उसकी बातें अनर्थ और छल की हैं; उसने बुद्धि और भलाई के काम करने से हाथ उठाया है।
4 He devises iniquity on his bed, He stations himself on a way not good, He does not refuse evil.”
४वह अपने बिछौने पर पड़े-पड़े अनर्थ की कल्पना करता है; वह अपने कुमार्ग पर दृढ़ता से बना रहता है; बुराई से वह हाथ नहीं उठाता।
5 O YHWH, Your kindness [is] in the heavens, Your faithfulness [is] to the clouds.
५हे यहोवा, तेरी करुणा स्वर्ग में है, तेरी सच्चाई आकाशमण्डल तक पहुँची है।
6 Your righteousness [is] as mountains of God, Your judgments [are] a great deep. You save man and beast, O YHWH.
६तेरा धर्म ऊँचे पर्वतों के समान है, तेरा न्याय अथाह सागर के समान हैं; हे यहोवा, तू मनुष्य और पशु दोनों की रक्षा करता है।
7 How precious [is] Your kindness, O God, And the sons of men trust In the shadow of Your wings.
७हे परमेश्वर, तेरी करुणा कैसी अनमोल है! मनुष्य तेरे पंखो के तले शरण लेते हैं।
8 They are filled from the fatness of Your house, And You cause them to drink the stream of Your delights.
८वे तेरे भवन के भोजन की बहुतायत से तृप्त होंगे, और तू अपनी सुख की नदी में से उन्हें पिलाएगा।
9 For a fountain of life [is] with You, In Your light we see light.
९क्योंकि जीवन का सोता तेरे ही पास है; तेरे प्रकाश के द्वारा हम प्रकाश पाएँगे।
10 Draw out Your kindness to those knowing You, And Your righteousness to the upright of heart.
१०अपने जाननेवालों पर करुणा करता रह, और अपने धर्म के काम सीधे मनवालों में करता रह!
11 Do not let a foot of pride meet me, And do not let a hand of the wicked move me.
११अहंकारी मुझ पर लात उठाने न पाए, और न दुष्ट अपने हाथ के बल से मुझे भगाने पाए।
12 Workers of iniquity have fallen there, They have been overthrown, And have not been able to arise!
१२वहाँ अनर्थकारी गिर पड़े हैं; वे ढकेल दिए गए, और फिर उठ न सकेंगे।
