Ezekiel 6
1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
Ja Herran sana tapahtui minulle, sanoen:
2 “Son of man, set your face toward mountains of Israel, and prophesy concerning them:
Sinä ihmisen lapsi, käännä kasvos Israelin vuoria päin, ja ennusta heitä vastaan,
3 And you have said, Mountains of Israel, Hear a word of Lord YHWH! Thus said Lord YHWH, To the mountains, and to the hills, To the streams, and to the valleys: Behold, I am bringing in a sword against you, And I have destroyed your high places.
Ja sano: te Israelin vuoret, kuulkaat Herran, Herran sanaa: näin sanoo Herra, Herra sekä vuorille että mäille, sekä ojille että laaksoille: katso, minä, minä tahdon antaa tulla miekan teidän päällenne, ja lyödä teidän kukkulanne maahan;
4 And your altars have been desolated, And your images have been broken, And I have caused your wounded to fall before your idols,
Että teidän alttarinne pitää kukistetuiksi tuleman, ja teidän epäjumalanne rikki lyödyksi; ja minä tahdon antaa teidän ruumiinne tapettaa kuvainne eteen,
5 And I have put the carcasses of the sons of Israel before their idols, And I have scattered your bones around your altars.
Ja lyödä maahan Israelin lasten ruumiit teidän kuvainne eteen, ja hajoittaa teidän luunne ympäri teidän alttareitanne.
6 In all your dwellings the cities are laid waste, And the high places are desolate, So that your altars are dry and desolate, Your idols have broken and ceased, And your images have been cut down, And your works have been blotted out.
Kussa te ikänä asutte, pitää kaupungit kylmille tuleman, ja kukkulat hävitettämän, että teidän alttarinne pitää lyötämän maahan ja autioksi tehtämän, ja rikottaman teidän epäjumalanne ja hävitettämän, ja särjettämän teidän kuvanne ja teidän työnne tyhjäksi tehtämän.
7 And the wounded has fallen in your midst, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.
Ja maahan lyödyt pitää makaaman teidän seassanne, että teidän tietämän pitää minun olevan Herran.
8 And I have caused [some] to remain, In their being for you the escaped of the sword among nations, In your being scattered through lands.
Mutta minä tahdon antaa muutamat teistä jäädä, jotka pitää miekalta jäämän pakanain sekaan, kuin minä teitä maakuntiin hajoittanut olen.
9 And your escaped have remembered Me among nations, To where they have been taken captive, Because I have been broken with their heart that is going whoring, That has turned aside from off Me, And with their eyes they are going whoring after their idols, And they have been loathsome in their own faces, For the evils that they have done—all their abominations.
Jääneet teistä pitää muistaman minua pakanain seassa, kussa heidän vankina oleman pitää, että minä olen särjetty heidän haureellisen sydämensä tähden, joka minusta luopunut on, ja heidän kiiluvain silmäinsä tähden, jotka ovat katsoneet epäjumaltensa jälkeen; ja niiden pitää suuttuman itseensä sen pahuuden tähden, jotka he kaikkein kauhistustensa kautta tehneet ovat.
10 And they have known that I [am] YHWH, I have not spoken to do this evil to them for nothing.
Ja heidän pitää tietämän, että minä olen Herra; ja en ole hukkaan puhunut, tehdäkseni heille tätä pahaa.
11 Thus said Lord YHWH: Strike with your palm, and stamp with your foot, And say: Aah! For all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, Which falls by sword, by famine, and by pestilence.
Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: lyö käsiäs yhteen, ja tömistä jalkojas, ja sano: voi! kaikkea pahuuden kauhistusta Israelin huoneessa, jonka tähden he miekan, nälän ja ruton kautta lankeeman pitää.
12 The far-off dies by pestilence, And the near falls by sword, And the left and the besieged dies by famine, And I have completed My fury on them.
Se joka kaukana on, hänen pitää ruttoon kuoleman, ja se joka juuri läsnä on, hänen pitää miekalla lankeeman; mutta se joka jää ja niistä päässyt on, sen pitää nälkään kuoleman. Näin tahdon minä täyttää minun hirmuisuuteni heidän seassansa.
13 And you have known that I [am] YHWH, In their wounded being in the midst of their idols, Around their altars, On every high hill, on all tops of mountains, And under every green tree, and under every thick oak, The place where they gave refreshing fragrance to all their idols.
Ja teidän pitää tietämän, että minä olen Herra, kuin heidän tapettunsa pitää makaaman heidän epäjumaltensa seassa ympäri heidän alttareitansa, kaikilla vuorten kukkuloilla, ja kaikkein viheriäisten puiden alla, ja kaikkein paksuin tammien alla, joissa paikoissa he kaikille epäjumalillensa makiaa savu-uhria tehneet ovat.
14 And I have stretched out My hand against them, And have made the land a desolation, Even a desolation from the wilderness to Diblath, In all their dwellings, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
Minä tahdon ojentaa käteni heitä vastaan ja tehdä heidän maansa tyhjäksi ja autioksi, hamasta Diblatin korvesta, kaikissa heidän asumasioissansa; ja heidän pitää tietämän, että minä olen Herra.
