< 1 Chronicles 12 >
1 And these [are] those coming to David at Ziklag, while shut up because of Saul son of Kish, and they [are] among the mighty ones, helping the battle,
Ɛberɛ a Dawid dwane firii Kis babarima Saulo anim kɔhintaa wɔ Siklag no, saa mmarima yi kɔdɔmm no. Na wɔka nnɔmmarima a wɔboa Dawid wɔ akodie mu.
2 armed with bow, right and left handed, with stones, and with arrows, with bows, of the brothers of Saul, of Benjamin.
Na wɔn nyinaa yɛ agyantofoɔ toamfomfoɔ. Na wɔtumi de wɔn nsa benkum ne nifa nyinaa to agyan ne ahwimmoɔ. Na wɔn nyinaa yɛ Saulo abusuafoɔ a wɔfiri Benyamin abusuakuo mu.
3 The head [is] Ahiezer, and Joash, sons of Shemaab the Gibeathite, and Jeziel, and Pelet, sons of Azmaveth, and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite,
Na deɛ ɔtua wɔn ano yɛ Semaa a ɔfiri Gibea no babarima Ahieser. Na ne nuabarima ne Yoas a ɔyɛ nʼabadiakyire. Yeinom ne nnɔmmarima no nkaeɛ: Asmawet mmammarima Yesiel ne Pelet; Beraka ne Yehu a wɔfiri Anatot;
4 and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty one among the thirty, and over the thirty, and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite.

5 Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;
Elusai, Yerimot, Bealia, Semaria, ne Sefatia a ɔfiri Harif;
6 Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam the Korahites,
Elkana, Yesia, Asarel, Yoeser, Yasobeam a wɔyɛ Korafoɔ;
7 and Joelah, and Zebadiah, sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
Yoela, Sebadia, Yeroham mmammarima a wɔfiri Gedor.
8 And of the Gadite there have been separated to David, to the fortress, to the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men of the host for battle, setting in array buckler and spear, and their faces [are as] the face of the lion, and as roes on the mountains for speed:
Gadfoɔ akofoɔ akokoɔdurufoɔ bi a wɔakwadare akodie mu dwane kɔɔ Dawid afa ɛberɛ a na ɔwɔ abanbɔeɛ mu wɔ ɛserɛ no so. Na wɔyɛ anintini wɔ nkataboɔ ne pea akodie mu a wɔn ho yɛ hu sɛ gyata, na wɔn ho yɛ hare te sɛ mmepɔ so atwe.
9 Ezer the head, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
Eser na na ɔtua wɔn ano. Obadia yɛ abadiakyire. Eliab na ɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa.
10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
Deɛ ɔtɔ so ɛnan ne Mismana. Deɛ ɔtɔ so enum ne Yeremia.
11 Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
Atai tɔ so nsia, Eliel tɔ so nson.
12 Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
Yohanan tɔ so nwɔtwe, Elsabad tɔ so nkron.
13 Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
Yeremia tɔ so edu, Makbanai tɔ so dubaako.
14 These [are] of the sons of Gad, heads of the host; the least [is] one of one hundred, and the greatest, of one thousand;
Saa nnɔmmarima a wɔfiri Gad yi yɛ asahene. Deɛ ɔnyɛ den koraa no, ɔtumi ne asraafoɔ ɔha ko, ɛnna deɛ ɔyɛ den no tumi ne asraafoɔ apem ko.
15 these [are] they who have passed over the Jordan in the first month—and it is full over all its banks—and cause all [those in] the valley to flee to the east and to the west.

16 And [some] from the sons of Benjamin and Judah came to David at the stronghold,

17 and David goes out before them, and answers and says to them, “If you have come to me for peace, to help me, I have a heart to unite with you; and if to betray me to my adversaries—without violence in my hands—the God of our fathers sees and reproves.”
Dawid kɔhyiaa wɔn kaa sɛ, “Sɛ moaba asomdwoeɛ so sɛ morebɛboa me a, yɛyɛ nnamfo. Na sɛ moaba sɛ morebɛyi me ama mʼatamfoɔ wɔ ɛberɛ a menyɛɛ bɔne bi a, yɛn agyanom Onyankopɔn nhwɛ mmu mo atɛn.”
18 And the Spirit has clothed Amasai, head of the captains: “To you, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse—peace! Peace to you, and peace to your helper, for your God has helped you”; and David receives them, and puts them among the heads of the troop.

19 And [some] from Manasseh have defected to David in his coming with the Philistines against Israel to battle—and they did not help them, for by counsel the princes of the Philistines sent him away, saying, “He defects with our heads to his master Saul.”

20 In his going to Ziglag there have fallen to him from Manasseh: Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillthai, heads of the thousands who [are] of Manasseh;
Manase mmarima a wɔwae kɔɔ Dawid afa wɔ ɛberɛ a na ɔresane akɔ Siklag no ne Adna, Yosabad, Yediael, Mikael, Yosabad, Elihu ne Siletai. Na wɔn mu biara da akodɔm apem ano.
21 and they have helped with David over the troop, for all of them [are] mighty men of valor, and they are captains in the host,
Wɔboaa Dawid maa ɔtaa afomfafoɔ no, ɛfiri sɛ, na wɔyɛ akokoɔdurufoɔ ne akofoɔ akɛseɛ a wɔbɛyɛɛ asahene wɔ nʼakodɔm mu.
22 for at that time, day by day, they come to David to help him, until it is a great camp, like a camp of God.

23 And these [are] the numbers of the head, of the armed men of the host; they have come to David at Hebron to turn around the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the mouth of YHWH.

24 The sons of Judah, carrying buckler and spear, [are] six thousand and eight hundred, armed ones of the host.

25 Of the sons of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the host, [are] seven thousand and one hundred.
Akofoɔ akɛseɛ a wɔfiri Simeon abusuakuo mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ mpem nson ne ɔha.
26 Of the sons of Levi [are] four thousand and six hundred;
Akodɔm a na wɔfiri Lewi abusuakuo mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ mpem ɛnan ne ahansia.
27 and Jehoiada [is] the leader of the Aaronite, and with him [are] three thousand and seven hundred,
Na Yehoiada a ɔtua Aaron abusua no ano no wɔ akodɔm mpem mmiɛnsa ne ahanson a wɔhyɛ nʼase.
28 and Zadok, a young man, a mighty man of valor, and of the house of his father [are] twenty-two heads.

29 And of the sons of Benjamin, brothers of Saul, [are] three thousand, and until now their greater part are keeping the charge of the house of Saul.

30 And of the sons of Ephraim [are] twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, men of renown, according to the house of their fathers.
Akofoɔ akɛseɛ a wɔfiri Efraim abusuakuo mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ mpem aduonu ne aha nwɔtwe a wɔn mu biara agye edin wɔ nʼabusua mu.
31 And of the half of the tribe of Manasseh [are] eighteen thousand, who have been defined by name, to come to cause David to reign.
Manase abusuakuo fa a na ɛwɔ Yordan atɔeɛ fam no nso, wɔtuu mmarima mpem dunwɔtwe a wɔn botaeɛ ara ne sɛ wɔbɛboaa Dawid ma wadi ɔhene.
32 And of the sons of Issachar, having understanding for the times, to know what Israel should do; their heads [are] two hundred, and all their brothers [are] at their command.
Ntuanofoɔ a wɔfiri Isakar abusuakuo mu ne wɔn abusuafoɔ dodoɔ yɛ ahanu. Na saa mmarima yi nyinaa te nsɛm a ɛrekɔ so saa ɛberɛ no ase, na wɔnim ɛkwan pa a ɛyɛ ma Israel nso.
33 Of Zebulun, going forth to the host, arranging battle with all instruments of battle, [are] fifty thousand, and keeping rank without a double heart.
Akofoɔ a wɔakwadare akodie mu a wɔfiri Sebulon abusuakuo mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ mpem aduonum. Na wɔakɔ amia mu ayɛ krado ama akodie, na na wɔtaa Dawid akyi pintinn.
34 And of Naphtali, one thousand heads, and with them, with buckler and spear, [are] thirty-seven thousand.
Wɔn a wɔfiri Naftali abusuakuo mu no yɛ asraafoɔ mpanimfoɔ apem ne akofoɔ akɛseɛ mpem aduasa nson a wɔkurakura nkataboɔ ne mpea.
35 And of the Danite, arranging battle, [are] twenty-eight thousand and six hundred.
Akofoɔ a wɔfiri Dan abusuakuo mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ mpem aduonu nwɔtwe ne ahansia a wɔasiesie wɔn ho ama ɔko.
36 And of Asher, going forth to the host, to arrange battle, [are] forty thousand.
Akofoɔ akɛseɛ a wɔatete wɔn yie a wɔfiri Aser abusuakuo mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ mpem aduanan a wɔn nyinaa ayɛ krado ama ɔko.
37 And from beyond the Jordan, of the Reubenite, and of the Gadite, and of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, with all instruments of the host for battle, [are] one hundred and twenty thousand.
Ruben, Gad mmusuakuo ne Manase abusuakuo fa a na wɔtete Asubɔnten Yordan apueeɛ fam no maa asraadɔm mpem ɔha ne aduonu a wɔwɔ akodeɛ ahodoɔ nyinaa.
38 All these [are] men of war, keeping rank—they have come to Hebron with a perfect heart, to cause David to reign over all Israel, and also all the rest of Israel [are] of one heart, to cause David to reign,

39 and they are there, with David, three days, eating and drinking, for their brothers have prepared for them.
Wɔne Dawid didiiɛ, nomeeɛ nnansa, ɛfiri sɛ, na wɔn abusuafoɔ no ayɛ ahoboa rehwɛ wɔn ɛkwan.
40 And also those near to them—to Issachar, and Zebulun, and Naphtali—are bringing in bread on donkeys, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen—food of fine flour, fig-cakes and grape-cakes, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep, in abundance, for joy [is] in Israel.
