< Psalms 54 >
1 “To the chief musician on Neginoth, a Maskil of David, When the Ziphim came and said to Saul, Behold, David is hiding himself with us.” O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength grant me justice.

2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
Aw Pathen, ka thangthuinah he ya lamtah, ka ka lamkah ol he hnatun lah.
3 For strangers [to goodness] are risen up against me, and powerful oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. (Selah)
Hlanglak rhoek kai taengah tlai uh tih, hlanghaeng neh a hmai kah Pathen te, a nawt na uh kolla ka hinglu a mae uh. (Selah)
4 Behold, God is a helper unto me: the Lord is among those that uphold my soul.
Kai he Pathen loh m'bom tih, ka hinglu aka talong rhoek taengah ka Boeipa om ke.
5 He will cause the evil to return upon those that regard me with envy: in thy truth cut them off.
Ka lungawn rhoek soah a thae neh thuung rhoe thuung lamtah, na oltak neh amih te biit lah.
6 I will liberally sacrifice unto thee: I will give thanks unto thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
Na taengah kothoh te, kan nawn saeh lamtah na then dongah BOEIPA nang ming te ka uem eh.
7 For out of all distress hath he delivered me: and my eye hath seen [its desire] on my enemies.
