< Psalms 133 >

1 “A song of the degrees by David.” Behold, how good and how pleasant it is! when brethren dwell closely together [in union]!
تَرْنِيمَةُ الْمَصَاعِدِ. لِدَاوُدَ مَا أَحْسَنَ ومَا أَبْهَجَ أَنْ يَسْكُنَ الإِخْوَةُ مَعاً (فِي وِئَامٍ).١
2 [It is] like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, yea, Aaron's beard, which runneth down upon the upper border of his garments;
فَذَلِكَ مِثْلُ زَيْتِ الْمَسْحَةِ، الْعَطِرِ الْمَسْكُوبِ عَلَى الرَّأْسِ، النَّازِلِ عَلَى اللِّحْيَةِ، عَلَى لِحْيَةِ هَارُونَ، الْجَارِي إِلَى أَطْرَافِ ثَوْبِهِ،٢
3 Like the dew of Chermon, running down upon the mountains of Zion; for there hath the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
بَلْ مِثْلُ نَدَى حَرْمُونَ الْمُتَقَاطِرِ عَلَى جَبَلِ صِهْيَوْنَ. فَإِنَّهُ هُنَاكَ أَمَرَ الرَّبُّ أَن تَحِلَّ الْبَرَكَةُ وَالْحَيَاةُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.٣
