Numbers 6

1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman pronounce an especial vow, the vow of a Nazarite, to be abstinent in honor of the Lord:

೨“ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು: ಯಾವ ಪುರುಷನಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಾಗಲಿ ನಾಜೀರರ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ,

3 Then shall he abstain from wine and strong drink, vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink shall he not drink, and any infusion of grapes shall he not drink, and grapes, fresh or dried, shall he not eat.

೩ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮದ್ಯಪಾನವನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಹುಳಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಮದ್ಯಪಾನದ ಹುಳಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯಬಾರದು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಾವ ಪಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕುಡಿಯಬಾರದು. ಹಸಿ ಅಥವಾ ಒಣಗಿದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.

4 All the days of his abstinence shall he eat nothing that is made of the grape-vine, from the kernels even to the husk.

೪ಅವನು ಹರಕೆಮಾಡಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆದ ಬೀಜವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಸಿಪ್ಪೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.

5 All the days of the vow of his abstinence no razor shall pass over his head: until the days be completed, in which he abstaineth in honor of the Lord, shall he be holy, letting grow untouched the hair of his head.

೫“ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹರಕೆಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಗಿಯುವ ತನಕ ತಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸದೆ ಬಿಡಬೇಕು.

6 All the days of his abstinence in honor of the Lord shall he not come near any dead body.

೬ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಶವವನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು.

7 On his father, or on his mother, on his brother, or on his sister, shall he not make himself unclean, when they die; because the consecration of his God is upon his head.

೭ತಾಯಿ, ತಂದೆ, ಅಣ್ಣ, ತಮ್ಮ, ಅಕ್ಕ, ತಂಗಿ ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಸತ್ತರೂ ಅವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿ ಅಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಕೂದಲು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.

8 All the days of his abstinence is he holy unto the Lord.

೮ತಾನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರಬೇಕು.

9 And if some one die very suddenly by him, and he thus defile his consecrated head: then shall he shave his head on the day of his being cleansed, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

೯ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಆಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸತ್ತರೆ, ತಾನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

10 And on the eighth day shall he bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

೧೦ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಎರಡು ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಎರಡು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

11 And the priest shall prepare the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make an atonement for him, because he hath sinned through the dead; and he shall hallow his head on that same day.

೧೧ಯಾಜಕನು ಒಂದನ್ನು ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದನ್ನು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಶವಸೋಂಕಿದವನಿಗಾಗಿ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಪವಿತ್ರವೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಬೇಕು.

12 And he shall consecrate unto the Lord [again] the days of his abstinence, and he shall bring a sheep of the first year for a trespass-offering; but the prior days shall not be counted, because his consecration hath been defiled.

೧೨ಅವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ, ಅಷ್ಟು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಹರಕೆಗೆ ವಿಘ್ನಪ್ರಾಪ್ತವಾದುದರಿಂದ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ದಿನಗಳು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದುದೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು.

13 And this is the law of the Nazarite: On the day when the days of his abstinence are completed, shall he present himself at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation;

೧೩ನಾಜೀರನು ತನ್ನ ವ್ರತದಿನಗಳು ಮುಗಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕು.

14 And he shall bring his offering unto the Lord, one male sheep of the first year without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one ewe of the first year without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for a peace-offering,

೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ: ಅವನು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಂಗವಾದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಟಗರಿನ ಮರಿಯನ್ನು, ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಂಗವಾದ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನು, ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪೂರ್ಣಾಂಗವಾದ ಟಗರನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು.

15 And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil; and their meat-offering, and their drink-offerings.

೧೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಂದು ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಬೆರಸಿದ ಗೋದಿಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು, ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಡಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಧಾನ್ಯದ್ರವ್ಯ, ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳೊಡನೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

16 And the priest shall bring them near before the Lord, and he shall prepare his sin-offering, and his burnt-offering:

೧೬ಯಾಜಕನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ತಂದು ನಾಜೀರನ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

17 And the ram shall he prepare for a sacrifice of peace-offering unto the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread; and the priest shall prepare his meat-offering and his drink-offering.

೧೭ಆ ಟಗರನ್ನೂ, ಪುಟ್ಟಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಯಾಜಕನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ತಂದ ಧಾನ್ಯದ್ರವ್ಯ ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

18 And the Nazarite shall shave at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation his consecrated head; and he shall take the hair of his consecrated head, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace-offering.

೧೮ಆಗ ನಾಜೀರನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯ ದೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಆ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.

19 And the priest shall take the shoulder of the ram when it is cooked, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and he shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shaved his consecrated [head].

೧೯ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಜಕನು ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಆ ಟಗರಿನ ಮುಂದೊಡೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಪುಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು, ಹಾಗೂ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಕಡುಬನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಾಜೀರನು ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

20 And the priest shall make with them a waving before the Lord; it is a holy gift for the priest, together with the breast that was waved and the shoulder that was lifted up: and after that may the Nazarite drink wine.

೨೦ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೈವೇದ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಿವಾಳಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಎದೆಯ ಭಾಗದಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸುವ ತೊಡೆಯಂತೆ ಯಾಜಕನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅನಂತರ ಆ ನಾಜೀರನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

21 This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed; his offering unto the Lord for his abstinence, besides that which he may be able to give: according to his vow which he may vow, so must he do in addition to what is required by the law of his abstinence.

೨೧ಹರಕೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ನಾಜೀರರ ವ್ರತ ನಿಯಮವು ಇದೇ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ರತಪೂರ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಇದೇ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಗನುಸಾರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೊಡಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ತಾವು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೆವೆಂದು ಹರಕೆಮಾಡಿದಷ್ಟು ವ್ರತವಿಧಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲೇಬೇಕು.”

22 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,

೨೨ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, Thus shall ye bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,

೨೩“ನೀನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು, ‘ನೀವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು,

24 The Lord bless thee, and preserve thee;

೨೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ;

25 The Lord make his face shine unto thee, and be gracious to thee;

೨೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಮುಖದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಿಡಲಿ;

26 The Lord lift up his countenance unto thee, and give thee peace.

೨೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಪಾಕಟಾಕ್ಷವಿಟ್ಟು ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿ’ ಎಂಬುದೇ.

27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel: and I will bless them.

೨೭ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವೆನು.”
