Numbers 35
1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
Isala: ili dunu da Moua: be umi sogega esalu. Yodane Hano da ilima guma: dini ba: i amola Yeligou moilai bai bagade da hano guma: dini dialu. Moua: be umiga, Hina Gode da Mousesema amane sia: i,
2 Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and an open space for the cities round about them shall ye give [also] unto the Levites.
“Isala: ili dunuma adoma. Ilia soge amola liligi lai amoga ilia da moilai mogili amola ohega ha: i manu soge amo moilai sisiga: le diala, amo Lifai dunu da amogawi esaloma: ne, ilima sagoma: ne sia: ma.
3 And the cities shall serve them to dwell in; and their open spaces shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their requirements.
Lifai dunu da amo moilai gagulaligimu amola ilia da amo ganodini esalumu. Ilia da ohega ha: i manu soge ilia bulamagau amola eno ohe fofoi amo ganodini laloma: ne gagulaligimu.
4 And the open spaces of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.
Ohega ha: i manu soge da moilai gagoi amoga muni, gadili asili, 450 mida defei la: ididili amola la: ididili masa: ne ba: mu.
5 And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, with the city in the midst: this shall be to them the open spaces of the cities.
Amasea, amo alalo defei da hegomai biyaduyale ba: mu. Amola la: idi defei biyaduyale afae afae ea defei da 900 mida ba: mu. Amola moilai bai bagade da amo sogebi ea dogoadafa ba: mu.
6 And the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites shall be the six cities of refuge, which ye shall appoint that the manslayer may flee thither; and in addition to them shall ye give forty and two cities.
Dilia Lifai dunu ilima Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade gafeyale gala ima. Amogawi, dunu da eno dunu momabo giadofale medole legesea, e da amo Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagadega hobeale ahoasea, gaga: i dagoi ba: mu. 7 All the cities which ye shall [thus] give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities, they with their open spaces.
Amola gilisili, amo moilai bai bagade ilia ohega ha: i manu soge ilima ima. Ilima iasu huluane da moilai bai bagade 48 agoane ba: mu.
8 And the cities which ye shall give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the tribe that hath many shall ye give many; but from the one that hath few shall ye give few: every one according to its inheritance which it may inherit shall give of its cities unto the Levites.
Dilia Isala: ili fi afae afae ilia soge ganodini, Lifai dunu ilima moilai bai bagade ima. Soge bagade amo ganodini, moilai bai bagade bagohame ima. Soge fonobahadi amo ganodini, moilai bai bagade bagahame ima.
9 And the Lord spoke unto Moses. saying,
Hina Gode da Mousesema amane sia: i,
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye have passed over the Jordan into the land of Canaan:
“Isala: ili dunuma amane sia: ma, ‘Dilia Yodane Hano degele, Ga: ina: ne sogega dasea,
11 Then ye shall appoint unto yourselves proper cities, that they be cities of refuge for you; and thither shall flee the manslayer who killeth any person at unawares.
Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade amogawi dunu da eno dunu momabo giadofale fane legesea, amoga hobeamusa: ilegema.
12 And these cities shall be unto you for a refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he have stood before the congregation for trial.
Amogawi, e da bogoi dunu ea maga: me dabe imunu fi dunu amoga gaga: su ba: mu. Dunu da eno dunu medole legesea, amo dunu huluane ba: ma: ne mae fofada: ne medole legemu da sema bagade.
13 And the cities which ye shall give, shall be six cities of refuge unto you;
Moilai bai bagade gafeyale gala amo ilegema.
14 Three of these cities shall ye give on this side of the Jordan, and the three other cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan: cities of refuge shall they be.
Moilai bai bagade udiana amo Yodane Hano gusudili ilegema. Amola moilai bai bagade udiana eno Yodane Hano guma: dini ilegema.
15 For the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them, shall these six cities be for a refuge: that every one may flee thither that killeth any person at unawares.
Amo moilai bai bagade ilia da Isala: ili dunudafa amola ga fi dunu (amo da Isala: ili soge ganodini dafawane fi esala o sofe misi fawane esala) amo ilima Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade dialebe ba: mu. Nowa da momabo giadofale eno dunu fane legesea, e da amo moilai bai bagade amoga hobeale masunu logo ba: mu.
16 And if he have smitten him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
Be dunu afae da gegesu liligi (gula o gele o ifaga hamoi) amoga dunu eno fane legesea, e da fasudafa hou hamobeba: le, dilia amo dunu fane legema.
17 And if he have smitten him with a stone which one can take in the hand, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
18 Or if he have smitten him with an article of wood, which one can take in the hand, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
19 The avenger of the blood himself shall slay the murderer; when he meeteth him, shall he slay him.
Bogoi dunu ea sosogo fi gadenene esalebe dunu da amo fane legesu dunuma dabe fane legema: ne sia: ma. E da amo fasu dunu ba: sea, fane legemu da defea.
20 And if he push against him out of hatred, or he have hurled at him [any thing] by lying in wait, that he die;
Dunu afae da eno dunu higabeba: le, amo dunu gisalu gala: le o igi o ifaga gala: le medole legesea, e da fasudafa hamobeba: le, dilia medole legema.
21 Or if in enmity he have smitten him with his hand, that he died, he that smote him shall surely be put to death; [for] he is a murderer: the avenger of the blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth with him.
O e da lobo usunawene fabeba: le, eno dunu medole legesea, e da fasudafa hamobeba: le, amo dunu medole legema. Bogoi dunu ea sosogo fi gadenenedafa esalebe dunu da amo fasu dunu medole legema: ne sia: ma. E da amo fasu dunu ba: sea, fane legemu da defea.
22 But if he have pushed against him accidentally without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without lying in wait,
Be dunu da eno dunuma mae higale amola momabo giadofale amo dunu gisalu gala: sea o igi o ifaga gala: le medole legesea,
23 Or with any stone wherewith a man may die, without seeing him, and he have let it fall upon him that he died; whereas he was not his enemy, and did not seek his harm:
o e da eno dunu mae ba: le, e da igi galagaiga dunu amo da ea ha lai hame, e da ema se imunu hame hanai, amo dunu momabo giadofale medole legesea,
24 Then shall the congregation judge between the slayer and the avenger of the blood according to these institutions;
agoai hou ba: sea, Isala: ili dunu da ilima fofada: sea, ilia da momabo giadofale fasu dunu gaga: mu. Amola maga: me dabe imunu dunuma amo dunu mae medole legema: ne sia: ma: mu.
25 And the congregation shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of the blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he had fled; and he shall abide in it until the death of the high-priest, who hath been anointed with the holy oil.
Isala: ili fi dunu huluane da bogoi dunu ea gadenene fi esalebe dunu amo momabo giadofale medole legesu dunu mae medoma: ne, amo gaga: ma: ne sia: ma. Be ilia da amo dunu Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade amoga e da hobea: i, amoga bu oule masa: ne sia: ma. Amogawi e da esalumu. Gobele salasu Ouligisu Dunu, (amo esoga hawa: hamonana dunu), e da bogosea fawane yolesimu.
26 But if the manslayer should at any time pass the boundary of the city of his refuge, whither he may have fled;
Be momabo giadofale fane legesu dunu da Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade (amoga e da hobea: i), amo udigili yolesisia,
27 And the avenger of the blood should find him beyond the boundary of the city of his refuge, and the avenger of the blood should kill the manslayer: he shall not be guilty of blood;
amola bogoi dunu ea gadenene fi esalebe dabesu dunu da amo dunu ba: beba: le, e medole legesea, amo dabe iasu da fane legesudafa agoane hame ba: mu.
28 Because in the city of his refuge shall be remain until the death of the high-priest; but after the death of the high-priest the manslayer may return unto the land of his possession.
Momabo gaidofale fane legesu dunu da dafawane Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade ganodini esalebe da gadili mae asili esaloma: mu. Gobele salasu Ouligisu Dunu da bogoi dagoiba: le fawane, e da Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade yolesili, hi diasuga buhagima: mu.
29 And these things shall be unto you for a statute of justice throughout your generations, in all your dwellings.
Amo malasu da dilia amola diligaga fi, dilia habidili esalea, amo hamoma: ne hamoi dagoi.
30 Whoever it be that killeth a person, according to the testimony of witnesses shall the murderer be put to death; but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.
Dunu da fane legesu hou hamosea, dilia fofada: lalu, ba: su dunu adunaga o osea: iga dafawane ilia ba: i dagoi sia: amo nababeba: le fawane, amo dunu medole legema. Ba: su dunu afaega fawane nabi sia: sea, dilia amo dunu medole legemu da hamedei.
31 Moreover ye shall take no redemption money for the person of a murderer, who is guilty of death; but he shall surely be put to death.
Be fane legesu dunu ea se iasu da e medole legemu fawane. E da bidi subiba: le, amo yolesimu da hamedei.
32 And ye shall take no redemption money for him that hath fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.
Amola Isala: ili dunu da Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade amoga hobea: i ba: sea, amola e da gobele salasu Ouligisu Dunu mae bogole, e da su ianu, hi diasua buhagimusa: dawa: sea, dilia da ea logo hedofama.
33 And ye shall not defile the land wherein ye are; for the blood it is which defileth the land: and no atonement can be made unto the land for the blood which hath been shed therein, except through the blood of him that hath shed it.
Dilia da dilia esalebe soge amo ledo hamosa: besa: le, amo logo mae doasima. Fane legesu hou da soge gugunufinisisa. Amola amo ledo hamoi sema dodofesu hou da afadafa fawane. Amo da fane legesu dunu amo medole legemu fawane.
34 And ye shall not render unclean the land which ye inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the Lord dwell in the midst of the children of Israel.
Dilia esalebe soge amo ledo hamoma: ne, mae wadela: lesima. Bai Na da Hina Gode, amola Na da Isala: ili fi ganodini esalebeba: le.”
