< Leviticus 24 >

1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
Yehowa gblɔ na Mose be,
2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive-oil, for the lighting, to cause the lamp to burn continually.
“Gblɔ na Israelviwo be woana amiti ƒe ami nyuitɔ wò nàde akaɖiawo me le agbadɔ la me, ale be akaɖiawo nanɔ bibim ɣe sia ɣi.
3 Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron put it in order [for] from evening unto morning before the Lord continually; as a statute for ever in your generations.
Le Mawu ƒe Agbadɔ la ƒe xɔmetsovɔ megbe la, Aron akpɔ akaɖiawo dzi woanɔ bibim zã kple keli le Yehowa ŋkume. Esia nye se mavɔ na Israelviwo tso dzidzime yi dzidzime.
4 Upon the pure candlestick shall be put in order the lamps, before the Lord, continually.
Woakpɔ akaɖi siwo le sikakaɖiti la dzi le Yehowa ŋkume la dzi ɣeawo katã ɣi.
5 And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake thereof twelve cakes: of two tenth parts shall each one cake be.
“Le Dzudzɔgbe ɖe sia ɖe dzi la, nunɔlagã atsɔ abolo bɔbɔe wuieve si wotsɔ wɔ kilogram etɔ̃ me ɖe sia ɖe,
6 And thou shalt place them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.
ada ɖe fli eve me: ade nanɔ fli ɖeka me le sikakplɔ̃ si le tsitre ɖe Yehowa ŋkume la dzi.
7 And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, that it may be unto the bread for a memorial, as a fire-offering unto the Lord.
Woatsɔ wɔ memee kilogram wuieve ame abolo ɖe sia ɖe. Woawu lifi ɖe fli eveawo dzi. Esia anye dzovɔsa na Yehowa,
8 On every and each sabbath day shall he place it in order before the Lord continually, [obtained] from the children of Israel as an everlasting covenant.
Woaɖoe Yehowa ƒe ŋkume ɖaa Dzudzɔgbe sia Dzudzɔgbe, eye miatsɔe aɖo ŋku Mawu ƒe nubabla mavɔ si wòwɔ kple Israelviwo la dzi.
9 And it shall belong to Aaron and to his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him, from the fire-offerings of the Lord, as a perpetual fixed portion.
Aron kple via ŋutsuwo aɖu abolo la le teƒe tɔxɛ si woɖo na aboloawo ɖuɖu, elabena esiawoe nye dzovɔ si wosa na Yehowa le eƒe se mavɔ la nu. Wonye nu kɔkɔewo ƒe nu kɔkɔewo.”
10 And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, but who was the son of an Egyptian man, among the children of Israel; and there quarrelled together in the camp this son of the Israelitish woman and an Israelitish man.
Gbe ɖeka, le asaɖa la me la, ɖekakpui aɖe si dada nye Israel nyɔnu, eye fofoa nye Egiptetɔ la wɔ avu kple Israel ŋutsu aɖe.
11 And the son of the Israelitish woman pronounced the [holy] Name, and blasphemed; and they brought him unto Moses: [and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan; ]
Le avu sia wɔwɔ me la, Israel nyɔnu la ƒe vi gblɔ busunya ɖe Mawu ŋu, eye wohee va Mose gbɔ be wòadrɔ̃ ʋɔnui. (Dadaa ŋkɔe nye Selomit, Dibri ƒe vinyɔnu, tso Dan ƒe to la me.)
12 And they placed him in ward, until the decision of the Lord could be explained to them.
Wodee gaxɔ me va se ɖe esime Yehowa aɖe nu si woawɔe la afia.
13 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
Yehowa gblɔ na Mose be,
14 Lead forth the blasphemer to without the camp; and all that have heard him shall lay their hands upon his head; and all the congregation shall stone him.
“Kplɔ busunyagblɔla la yi asaɖa la godo. Ame siwo katã se eƒe busunyagbɔgblɔ la ada asi ɖe eƒe ta dzi, eye takpelawo katã aƒu kpee.
15 And unto the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Whatsoever man that blasphemeth his God shall bear his sin.
Gblɔ na Israelviwo be, ‘Ne ame aɖe ƒo fi de eƒe Mawu la, ekema eɖi fɔ;
16 But he that pronounced the name of the Lord [with blasphemy] shall be put to death, all the congregation shall stone him; be he a stranger, or be he one that is born in the land, when he pronounceth the [holy] Name [with blasphemy, ] he shall be put to death.
woawu ame sia ame si ado vlo Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ. Ame sia ame si le ameha la me aƒu kpee. Eɖanye dzɔleaƒea loo alo amedzro, ne edo vlo Ŋkɔ la ko, woawui.
17 And he that taketh the life of any man shall surely be put to death.
“‘Kpe ɖe esia ŋuti la, woawu hlɔ̃dolawo katã.
18 And he that taketh the life of a beast shall make it good: beast for beast.
Ne ame aɖe wu lã aɖe si menye etɔ o la, ele be wòaɖoe eteƒe.
19 And if a man cause a bodily defect in his neighbor, as he hath done, so shall be done to him;
To si woahe na ame aɖe si awɔ nuvevi ame aɖe lae nye be woawɔ nuvevi ma tututu eya hã le mɔ ma ke nu:
20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: in the manner as he hath caused a bodily defect in a man, so shall it be done to him.
ƒuŋeŋe ɖe ƒuŋeŋe teƒe, ŋku ɖe ŋku teƒe, aɖu ɖe aɖu teƒe. Nu sia nu si ame aɖe awɔ nɔvia la, woawɔ nu ma tututu eya hã.
21 And he that killeth a beast, shall make restitution for it; and he that killeth a man, shall be put to death.
“‘Megale egblɔm be ne ame aɖe wu ame bubu aɖe ƒe lã la, ele be wòaɖo eteƒe, eye ne ame aɖe wu ame la, woawu eya hã.
22 One manner of judicial law shall ye have, the stranger shall be equal with one of your own country; for I am the Lord your God.
Se siwo miatsɔ akplɔ amedzrowo la, woawo kee miatsɔ akplɔ Israelvi dzɔleaƒeawo hã, elabena nyee nye Yehowa, miaƒe Mawu.’”
23 And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led forth the blasphemer to without the camp, and they stoned him with stones; and the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Ale Mose ƒo nu na Israelviwo eye wohe ɖekakpui la yi asaɖa la godo, eye woƒu kpee va se ɖe esime wòku abe ale si Yehowa de se na Mose ene.
