Isaiah 60
1 Arise, give light, for thy light is come; and the glory of the Lord is shining forth over thee.
Thoo laeh, vang laeh. Nang kah vangnah ha pawk coeng tih BOEIPA thangpomnah tah nang soah sae coeng.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and a gross darkness the people; but over thee will shine forth the Lord, and his glory will be seen over thee.
Hmaisuep loh diklai, yinnah loh namtu a dah coeng ke. Tedae nang soah BOEIPA ha thoeng coeng tih a thangpomnah khaw nang soah tueng coeng.
3 And nations shall walk by thy light, and kings by the brightness of thy shining.
Na vangnah dongah namtom rhoek loh, namah kah pangtong khosae ah manghai rhoek loh pongpa uh ni.
4 Lift up thy eyes round about and see, they all are assembled, they come to thee, thy sons are coming from afar, and thy daughters are brought along in arms.
Na mik te huel lamtah a kaepvai kah amih boeih ke so lah. Kho hla lamkah na ca rhoek te coi uh thae tih nang taengla ha pawk uh. Ha pawk uh vaengah na canu rhoek te a laengpang ah a poeh uh.
5 Then wilt thou see and be filled with light, and thy heart will dread and be enlarged; because unto thee shall be turned the abundance of the sea, the riches of nations shall come unto thee.
Te vaengah na hmuh vetih na hlampan bitni. Anih te birhih vetih na thinko hang ka sak ni. Tuitunli kah a hlangping te nang taengla ha buung vetih namtom kah khuehtawn te nang taengla ha pawk ni.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and 'Ephah; they all from Sheba shall come: gold and frankincense shall they carry, and the praises of the Lord shall they announce.
Kalauk cako loh nang ng'et ni. Midian neh Ephah kalauk ca rhoek khaw a pum la Sheba lamkah sui hang khuen uh vetih hmueihtui ham phueih uh ni. Te vaengah BOEIPA koehnah a phong uh ni.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be assembled unto thee, the rams of Nebayoth shall minister unto thee: they shall come for a favorable acceptance [unto me] upon my altar, and the house of my glory will I glorify.
Kedar boiva boeih khaw nang taengla tingtun uh vetih Nebaioth tutal rhoek loh nang n'khut ni. Ka hmueihtuk kah kolonah la luei uh vetih ka boeimang im te ka cam ni.
8 Who are these that fly like a cloud, and like the doves, to their windows?
Khomai bangla ding uh tih vahui bangla amamih kahbangbuet la aka cet te u rhoek nim?
9 Yea, unto me [the inhabitants of] the isles shall hasten, and the ships of Tharshish at first, to bring thy sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel; because he hath glorified thee.
Sanglak rhoek loh kai he ni n'lamtawn uh ngawn. Tarshish sangpho loh khohla lamkah na ca rhoek te amamih kah ngun neh sui neh lamhma la ham pawk puei ni. BOEIPA na Pathen ming ham neh Israel kah a cim ham te nang n'cam coeng.
10 And the sons of the stranger shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee; for in my wrath did I smite thee, but in my favor have I had mercy on thee.
Na vongtung tah kholong ca rhoek loh hang khoeng uh vetih a manghai rhoek loh nang n'khut ni. Ka thinhul ah nang kan taam cakhaw ka kolonah dongah nang kan haidam ni.
11 And thy gates shall stand open continually, day and night shall they not be closed, to bring unto thee the wealth of nations, and their kings led [captive].
Namtom kah khuehtawn te nang taengla aka pawk puei ham na vongka loh ong uh taitu vetih khoyin khothaih khai uh mahpawh. Te vaengah a manghai rhoek te hmaithawn uh ni.
12 For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; and the nations shall be utterly destroyed.
Nang taengah tho aka thueng pawh namtom neh ram tah milh uh vetih namtom rhoek khaw rhae la rhae uh ni.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir, the cypress, and the box together, to adorn the place of my sanctuary, and the [resting] place of my feet will I glorify.
Ka rhokso hmuen cam hamla Lebanon kah thangpomnah hmaical, kungkang neh ta-aw thing khaw nang taengla tun ha pawk vetih ka kho kung kah a hmuen ah ka thangpom ni.
14 And then shall come unto thee bent down the sons of those who afflicted thee, and there shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet all thy revilers; and they shall call thee, The city of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Nang aka phaep rhoek kah a ca rhoek te nang taengah aka ngawm sut la ha pawk uh ni. Nang yah aka bai rhoek boeih na kho kah khopha taengah bakop uh ni. BOEIPA kah khopuei Zion nang te Israel kah a cim la a khue uh ni.
15 Instead that thou wast forsaken and hated, without one to pass through [thee], will I render thee an excellency of everlasting, a joy of all generations.
A hnoo sut neh a hmuhuet la na om tih aka pongpa om pawh. Tedae nang te kumhal kah hoemdamnah neh cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma ham omthennah la kang khueh ni.
16 And thou shalt suck the milk of nations, and the breast of kings shalt thou suck; and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
Namtom kah suktui te na yawn vetih manghai rhoek kah rhangsuk te khaw na yawn ni. Te vaengah kai BOEIPA tah nang aka khang neh nang aka tlan Jakob kah samrhang la na ming ni.
17 Instead of the copper will I bring gold, and instead of the iron will I bring silver, and instead of wood copper, and instead of the stones iron; and I will set peace as thy authorities, and righteousness as thy taskmasters.
Rhohum yueng la sui kang khuen vetih thi yueng la ngun, thing yueng la rhohum, lungto yueng la thi kang khuen ni. Nang aka cawhkung te rhoepnah neh, nang aka tueihno te duengnah neh ka khueh ni.
18 There shall not be heard any wore violence in thy land, wasting and destruction within thy boundaries; but thou shalt call, Salvation, thy walls, and thy gates, Praise.
Na khohmuen ah kuthlahnah, na khorhi khuiah rhoelrhanah neh pocinah te ya voel mahpawh. Tedae na vongtung te khangnah la, na vongka te koehnah la na khue ni.
19 The sun shall not be unto thee any more for a light by day, and for brightness shall the moon not give light unto thee; but the Lord will be unto thee for a light of everlasting, and thy God as thy glory.
Nang ham tah khothaih khosae la khomik khaw kuek voel pawt vetih hla kah a aa loh nang soah ha sae mahpawh. Tedae BOEIPA tah nang ham kumhal khosae neh na Pathen te na boeimang la om ni.
20 Thy sun shall not go down any more, and thy moon shall not be withdrawn; for the Lord will be unto thee for a light of everlasting, and ended shall be the days of thy mourning,
Na khomik te khum voel pawt vetih na hla khaw yaem voel mahpawh. BOEIPA tah nang ham kumhal khosae la om vetih na nguekcoinah khohnin khaw khum ni.
21 And thy people—they all will be righteous, for ever shall they possess the land, the sprout of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may glorify myself.
Amih na pilnam aka dueng boeih loh khohmuen kumhal duela a pang uh ni. A thingling pae he ka thingling neh ka kut kah bibi neh a cam ham om.
22 The little one shall become a thousand, and the small, a mighty nation: I the Lord will hasten it in its time.
A dikhnawn te thawngkhat la, canoi khaw namtu pilnu la om ni. Kai BOEIPA tah amah tue vaengah amah la ka tawn uh ni.
